Not to mention Usopp, Nami, and Chopper, who were not combat-oriented in the first place. The force of the sword's energy caused them to lose consciousness instantly.
As for Franky and Sanji, they fared relatively better, yet they too were covered in injuries. To them, Solo appeared as an insurmountable mountain.
Their abilities proved futile. Regardless of how many attempts they made, there was an undeniable gap in combat power between them and Solo.
It was far from being level. On the execution platform, Ace had never expected that after Diamond Jozu was thrown into the sea, the next one to fall would be his own brother, Luffy.

With a loud voice, he shouted toward Ace on the execution platform.
"I won't give up on you, Ace! Because I'm your only younger brother!"
Luffy's resounding voice echoed throughout Marineford, capturing the attention of countless onlookers.
No one could have predicted that, even after being struck by Solo, Luffy would find the strength to bounce back.
