Chapter 30: Chapter 30 Parshu
Hun Yu sat on a straw mat in the village head's humble abode, idly playing with his faithful canine companion, Xiao Xiao. The sun was setting over the lush green landscape, casting an orange hue across the sky. Hun Yu had been waiting patiently for the village head to return from his mysterious hiding place. He had gone out to retrieve something from his secret stash.
As he sat there, stroking Xiao Xiao's soft fur, the dog suddenly grew tired and laid down in Hun Yu's lap. Hun Yu chuckled softly and continued to pet him, waiting for the village head to return. After what felt like an eternity, Hun Yu finally sensed the village head approaching through his heightened senses. Village head was not a spirit master, and Hun Yu could easily detect his approach.
The village head entered the room, and in his hand was a small, rusty box. Hun Yu could feel the weight of anticipation building up inside him as the village head sat down beside him and handed him the box. As he opened the box. Inside the box was a small locket, but it looked like a ordinary locket.
The locket was plain , but what caught Hun Yu's attention was the small axe hanging from it. The axe was made of a gleaming metal that seemed to reflect the light in a way that made it appear to be glowing. The handle was adorned with intricate carvings and designs that seemed to tell a story.
Hun Yu carefully took the locket in his hand, feeling the weight of the axe as he examined it closely.
Hun Yu examined the small axe that hung from the locket, turning it over in his hand to examine its sharp edges. Though it was diminutive in size, the weapon appeared to be incredibly sharp, and Hun Yu could sense the power that it held. Satisfied with his examination, he slowly put the locket around his neck and tucked the axe safely away inside his clothing.
Looking up at the village head, Hun Yu expressed his gratitude for keeping the locket safe for him. He would have liked to stay longer in the village, but with the upcoming spirit master contest, he knew that he had to leave and continue practicing with his teammates at the academy. The village head nodded understandingly and offered his well-wishes.
As they prepared to depart, the village head reminded Hun Yu to come back and visit sometime, and to bring his dog, Xiao Xiao, with him. Hun Yu smiled, noting to himself that he had grown much stronger since the last time he had visited the village, and he was confident that he would be able to protect Xiao Xiao no matter what dangers they might face.
"Thank you for your hospitality," Hun Yu said, bowing respectfully to the village head. "We will take our leave now."
The village head nodded in acknowledgement, and as Hun Yu and Xiao Xiao turned to go.
As Hun Yu and Xiao Xiao left the village head's house, they made their way to the nearby cart where they could catch a ride to Heaven Duo City. Upon approaching the cart, Hun Yu spoke to the cart owner, inquiring about transportation to their destination.
"We have to go to Heaven Duo City. Will you take us there?" he asked.
The cart owner hesitated for a moment before responding, "I will go there, but..." He paused, glancing over at Xiao Xiao. "I will not take a dog with me in my cart. Come back when you don't have the dog with you."
Hun Yu felt a spark of anger, but he managed to keep his composure. He took out his token of the Heaven Duo Imperial Academy and showed it to the cart owner. "Do you still refuse to take us with a dog?" he asked.
Upon seeing the token, the cart owner's demeanor changed. He dropped to his knees and placed his forehead on the ground, apologizing profusely to Hun Yu for not recognizing him as a spirit master. Hun Yu urged him to stand up and get on with the journey as they needed to reach Heaven Duo City as soon as possible.
Without further delay, Hun Yu and Xiao Xiao got into the cart and headed towards their destination.

In the Prince Mansion of Heaven Duo City, a man sat behind his desk, poring over documents. After a while, he stood up and headed somewhere with a purposeful gait. He arrived at his bedroom and sat down on the bed before calling out, "Uncle Lance."
A man emerged from the shadows, his face illuminated by the soft light of the moon. He glanced at the young master and inquired, "What are your orders, young master?"
"I want to know about Yunfeng's situation. How is he doing, and where is he?" The young master spoke in a serious tone, his eyes filled with concern.
"Little Young Master is safe, and you don't have to worry about him. Old Porcupine Douluo is protecting him, and he's in a nearby village," Uncle Lance replied.
"May I visit him? With your title Douluo speed, it won't take much time," the young master asked, waiting for Uncle Lance's response.
"You may visit Little Young Master, but we have to return soon. The emperor is busy with a contest, and he will not be able to notice your absence," Uncle Lance replied.
The young master's body began to glow in a golden light, and he transformed into a beautiful woman with golden hair and purple eyes. Together with Uncle Lance, they left for the village where Yunfeng was staying.
After some time, they arrived at the village, and a man emerged from the darkness to greet them. "What brings you here, young master?" he asked.
Shi Long stepped out from behind the young master and explained the situation. Qian Renxue then asked Porcupine Douluo, "Where is Yunfeng?"
"Little Young Master is in that house. We've hired a maid to take care of him for years," Porcupine Douluo replied.
"Take me to him," Qian Renxue said.
As they arrived at the house, the maid who had been taking care of Yunfeng greeted them. Porcupine Douluo explained to her to stay outside for some time, and Qian Renxue ordered Shi Long and Porcupine Douluo to wait outside.
She then entered the room where Yunfeng was staying, picked him up from his cradle, and played with him for a while. Suddenly, Yunfeng began to cry, and Qian Renxue remembered that children cry when they are hungry. She sat down on the bed and lowered her upper dress, exposing her breast to feed Yunfeng.
