Chapter 1: Chapter 1 : The Oval
This world is divided into three categories Developed, developing, and underdeveloped countries.
The developed countries rule the world whereas the developing, and underdeveloped countries compete against each other using dirty politics and also rage war to sell their product to the developed countries.
Time: 6 Am Location: Washington B.C
Wife: Babyy!! Turn off that damn alarm. I didn't answer. After some time she slapped slaps my butt and says in her angry voice "wake up Josh or I will break that alarm of yours"
I woke up very shocked, and a little frustrated but I love her too much, and I said very lovingly Good morning Darling!! In return, I get a very sleepy Sloppy Good morning.
I got off the bed and put up my pajama and as I was about to leave the room my wife calls me and says "Josh can you wake Lisa up this time properly she cannot miss the school bus today. She got a warning from the principal and if she misses school today she is going to get detention.
I was shocked for a moment and quickly replied. What!! Detention? how can they give Detention to a kid this is nonsense they can't do that. My wife was still very sleepy, as she usually wakes up at 8 and my work usually requires me to be in the office by 8 A.M, Anyway. She says yes!! they can and she is 8 years old she is not a kid anymore She is growing up and we have to act accordingly. understand? I said ok. Silently, went to the hallway and opens up my daughter's room, and sits next to her bed. "Hey" while brushing her hair gently. "Wake up"!!. Pumpkin it's time for school.
"Daddy 5 more minutes please," Lisa said I know that her 5 minutes is equal to 30 minutes and that will cost her to miss her bus again.
"No. pumpkin get up," I said" "I want you to be ready by 7 or you are going to miss your bus again, So hurry up! now, I am going to make your favorite Bacon and Eggs, and I want you to meet me downstairs in 30 minutes."
After Some time my wife wakes up and comes downstairs.
"Baby Bacon again," said my wife "You know it's not very healthy."
As I was about to answer her I get a phone call from a very unusual number.
"Hello"
"Josh. This is your President speaking. I want you and your family to be ready and I want you in the Oval Office ASAP. I have sent my guys from the secret service to pick you up. Get in and hurry up here. I was utterly shocked I Work as a geologist and in my entire life I never thought I would get a call from The President of the States.
"Yes sir," I said, and continued what's it about?
"You will know soon son" President Replied, and hangs up
"honey who was it," the wife asks
"It was the President," I said "He says that he wants us to be ready and wants me to be in the oval office ASAP. I don't know what to do. As I completed those words 2 Suv's with fully black tinted windows stops in front of our house.
The doorbell rang. I rushed to the door and opens I saw 4 men in suits 3 by the Suv waiting and 1 guy by the door.
"Sir my name is Robert" He showed me his badge and continued speaking, "The president ordered me to pick you and your family and escort you to the white house immediately. It's a matter of national security,"
"Yes I got the phone call," I said " Let me talk with my family we will be ready soon. Do you know what's it about?" I asked
"Sir it is out of my jurisdiction my orders are to bring you to the oval safe" he answered.
"yeah ok meet you outside in 5 minutes" As I said that I close the door and went to talk to my wife and Lisa who were sitting at the dining table very confused.
As gently as possible I said, "Guys even I am as confused as you are but the president's men are outside and he has something very important to talk about with me and they are here to pick us. I don't know what it's about and those men outside won't say anything just that it's a matter of national security and I think it's in our best interest to do as they say." I was very stressed at this point and that's what I was able to make up in my mind.
"Ok, honey! we will get ready" my wife said "common Lisa let's get ready they went upstairs to get ready.
As they went upstairs I turned on the TV, and as I browse through the news channel, I find that Panthosthan has declared martial law and The states have issued to "Avoid all travel to Panthosthan due to the uncertain security situation caused by its nuclear weapons development program and high repressive regime." Panthosthan shares a Border with Indra and Zhongguo. That's all it was on the news.
My wife and Lisa come downstairs "we are ready" my wife says.
"Why did you make luggage I don't think we will be staying anywhere," I asked
"You don't know what may happen just for insurance," she answered
"ok let's go." I open the door the men were waiting outside to escort us to the car. After 15 minutes we arrive at the white house. As we were walking through the hallway, a lady appeared and says welcome please follow me and escorts us to a lobby. "please have a seat ma'am only authorized personnel can enter from here, your husband has to go alone from this point. I looked at my wife and asked her to "wait for me in the lobby love". She agreed and I started following the lady, She opens the door. Inside the Oval Office, I saw two military officers and a man in a suit talking about some very serious topic.
"Mr. President," said the lady
"Ahh! Josh. We were waiting for you" said the president
"Well I am here, is it about Panthosthan" I guessed. Everyone went silent they turned their head and looked at me with seriousness for a minute, then President stands up.
"Have a sit" The president said
I nervously make my way toward the sofa and sit down.
