Chapter 42: The King's Resurrection
A few hours ago...
In a huge hall, a circular pool was seen filled to the mouth with blood. Staring into this pool was a demonic woman. She possessed an appearance with beautiful and intimidating features. She also had bat-like wings and her eyes and hair were black.
The woman stared at the pool while waiting for someone to come out of it and in a few moments, a naked woman came out of it and stood over the pool.
In the same instant, the woman knelt down to her and said:
"Welcome back, King Lucifer."
Lucifer, the demon who had been resurrected and awakened, took a deep breath while keeping his eyes closed, he was enjoying the feeling of being alive again. After a few minutes, he opened his red eyes and said:
"How bad it is to feel my heart beating.... But it's horrible to imagine that I died, don't you think?"
"Yes sir, it is a pity that you died."
"Yes, really a pity... Anyway, let's leave the past for the past. What is your name?"
"My name is abaddon."
"Look into my eyes when you are talking to me."
Abaddon raised his head slightly and looked into lucifer's eyes and noticed his appearance; A demon in a female human body, with no features that set him apart as a demon. Lucifer had dark red hair and red eyes that seemed to represent death itself. A look that sent shivers down abaddon's spine.
She stared him in the eyes and spoke his name again:
"My name is abaddon, King Lucifer.... By the way, why is your body female and human?"
"When I was in the blood bath, I could manipulate the shape of my body any way I wanted and yes, I chose this appearance and shape because this was the body of my dead mother."
Upon hearing all that information, abaddon was surprised and asked:
"Was your mother human?"
"Yes, actually she was half human, but never mind my past. Now update me on the events after my death."

"Hm, so nothing remarkable happened except the war between the humans and the demons? What a drag..." Lucifer spoke those words in a despondent tone, he really thought that his death would have caused drastic changes in the world.
"Yes, but something interesting happened a few months ago.... Heroes were summoned in the human kingdom."
"Heroes? I really don't give a damn about them, but since we are talking about heroes.... Do you have information or the location of the heroine Anna?"
"Cough-cough, I'm sorry... But we don't have any knowledge about who this heroine named Anna is."
"Really? Sigh... She is the one responsible for killing my family, how could you guys have forgotten about her?"
"I'm sorry sir! I promise we will put all the demons out to look for her!"
"Sigh, forget about it, she will come to me anyway..."
Lucifer spoke those words as he stepped out of the pool and walked to a place that had towels and covered himself. Just then he asked:
"Don't you have any other news that is shaking the world?"
Abaddon regained his composure and answered immediately:
"There is some news that is circulating among the world."
"Good, then tell me."
"It's about a human who travels the continent riding a huge white wolf. His name is Jacob voss and he is not an ally of humanity, let alone demons, elves or dwarves."
"Hm, and what is his purpose? What are his accomplishments?"
"It seems that his purpose is to find wealth and power, but he doesn't have many achievements. His most notable achievement was the destruction of the human city called garinfield. In fact, he has a reward of 1,000,000 gold coins for his head."
"Hm... Is that all?"
"No sir, there is a hero who is constantly shaking the world. His name is Raphael. With a rising fame and victory after victory, he has surprised the whole world and made everyone think he is the strongest hero."
"Oh? Now that's interesting... But whatever, only varda could stand up to me, and with him being dead, I will sweep the other races off the map."
"The great King Lucifer, we have been waiting for this for over 50,000 years after your death. Thank you for returning!"
"Okay, okay, enough with the flattery. I assume I am in my castle, in that case, let the demons know that their king has returned and.... Do you have a messenger available?"
"Messenger? Do you wish to communicate with anyone?" Abaddon asked curiously, because she thought all of her king's acquaintances were dead.
"Yes, I want to communicate with some human with a high position within the human realm, he needs to be willing to betray humanity."
"Hm... A few months ago we had a spy infiltrating inside the royal court, but his cover was blown by Angelica, the saint of the human kingdom."
"So there is no human willing to betray humanity?"
"There is one, but he is a businessman, so for him to betray humanity, we will need to give something in return."
"And what is the name of this man?"
"immanuel kant, the duke of paris."
"A businessman... In that case I will negotiate with him personally."
Upon hearing those words, abaddon was shocked and mostly surprised, after all, Lucifer had just risen from the dead and was already planning to go deep into his duties.
"Are you sure you are going to meet personally with the Duke of Paris? We can send a demon to him and pass on your message."
"Don't worry about that, I want to see with my own eyes what humans have become."
"Okay... In that case, will you allow me to accompany you?"
"Ok, you can go with me, since I need a guide."
"Thank you very much, great king."
"Stop the flattery! Now let's get going, I'm excited to see what has changed in 50,000 years."

I am adapting this story as if it were a harem, but it is not a harem, don't worry.
Summary: Since Jacob is in a world where the protagonist has a harem, it would be strange if the main enemy of the protagonist were not a woman, or had the body of a woman... You get it, right?
This sentence describes well how Lucifer behaves in the face of death:
"Deep down, dying would be nothing. What I can't stand is not being able to know how it will end."
A striking phrase, especially for astronomers, scientists, and other professions working in the field of technology. This sentence makes us want to know how the future will be. I'm sure everyone has the curiosity to find out "What the world will look like in 50 years." Right?
