Chapter 21: Ch~Twenty>One: Levelling Up // Important Message.
''Damn! This is so good! Although not that delicious but still satisfying enough!'' Jae muttered as he took a huge chunk of fleshy meat from the big thigh in his hands. Jae had woken up since two hours ago and discovered that Trisha was nowhere to be found. He believed she must have left him.
After that, the first thing he did was to check out his system. Yesterday, he had cultivated for ten hours and slept for two hours feeling rejuvenated. He had also broken through and gained a lot of points to improve his abilities.
When he thought of the ten hours he used to cultivate, he felt very happy because he knew he would become a little powerful in a short time. He could even finish his mission in a week if possible. He discovered that his skill, Chakra Extraction was now at Lv 51 but he didn't get a new skill from it like the Chakra Control Skill that had given his Chakra Flow Skill which he still don't know the use till now.
This morning, he woke up with the system notifications in his sight and was very pleased.

''Damn! I've gotten stronger than before. I have the confidence to quickly finish my mission now'' Jae was very excited and now, he won't had to pass through many arduous processes to complete his mission. This was already his second day of his mission. His time limit is one month but he felt he could finish the mission in a week and so, he decided.
After finishing the mission, he won't go back to the academy. He would take his time to explore the Beast City Zone and also make sure to grind beasts to level up some more and also train his abilities. By the time he completes the mission and get back to the academy, he would be O and P among the freshmens in the academy. He wanted to add his Stat Points to his Stat but decided against it thinking it was too early. It should be used for emergency situations.
Feeling good about his plan, Jae ate his meat with more happy resolve. The meat he was eating was the Level 3 Silver Clawed Red Fox Leader. He didn't know how to cook so he just roasted the meat and use some survival hacks to add some other things to it so he can eat it.
Suddenly, he noticed his C-Net and then remembered its valiant beeping last night. Shocked, he threw away his meat and quickly activate the device and immediately after, a message was projected out of the device.

Hunt a Level 5 Dire Beast, twenty Level 3 Dire Beasts and a mix of a hundred Level 2-1 Dire Beasts in the Beast City Zone's Land Of The Beasts. Take their Beast Cores to Forest City Zone's Kaz'Ta and in return, he would give you a precious treasure and you are to safely bring it to the Academy.
Your Time Limit: A Month, has been changed to A Week due to something important which you would know once you cone back to the academy

Jae didn't know if it was because of the shock he was feeling from the message or the state of urgency coming from it but he couldn't utter a single word for more than a minute. But in his mind 'Damn! Damn!! Damn!!! A Week! Sure I can finish the mission in a week but my free period of grinding time, training time and even explorations are all gone. Damn!....' Jae just kept screaming even though his face was quite calm on the outside.
Soon, he calmed down and started preparing himself to hunt beasts. Fortunately, from talking with Trisha last night, he had learned of some of the places where the low level and high level beasts resides. Now, he uest wanted to attack the low leveled beasts so he can raise his level again before going for the strong ones.
He checked his progress of his mission on his C-Net. It displayed

Hunted Level 2 Dire Beasts: 3 Beast Cores.
Hunted Level 1 Dire Beasts: 13 Beast Cores.

Abandoning his food, Jae started traveling through the forest. He had already changed out of his tattered clothes and was wearing a new one he had brought along. He was now wearing a black outfit with streams of purple lines on it. He had gotten back his weapons which Trisha had recovered from the battle.
Why was she helping him? Jae doesn't know and why he hadn't raised up the question to her? He didn't feel like. Although, he knew Trisha didn't ask him of anything, he was sure that he would be able to pay her back in the future. After getting prepared, Jae set out to hunt down low level beasts.
Throughout the journey, he met multiple beast which he slaughtered mercilessly. Maybe due to his lingering fear of death in the jaws of the foxes, he no longer treated the beasts as the same as before. Now, he would just quickly destroy any beast in front of him. Soon, Jae arrived at a cave and suddenly heard the sound of battle.
'It must be one of the students of Netherensis doing missions like Trisha said. We'll, I'm definitely gonna take a look at the situation' Chuckling, Jae immediately rushed inside the cave.
