Chapter 11: The Unexpected
Ethan reached the auditorium half of the seats were filled. He took a seat from the last row so that he could avoid all the main characters and the protagonist.
Ethan sat in his seat and looked at the entrance there were still people coming.
Ethan closed his eyes and started to think about the important things that's going to happen.
After a few minutes the auditorium was filled with people.
It was noisy for a few minutes and silence came when they saw a senior host instructed them about the start of the entrance ceremony.
Soon a woman who looks like she's in her late twenties entered the auditorium. The entire auditorium froze in her arrival. She had a light cool brown hair and black eyes. She's Elizabeth miller the vice headmaster of the Azure High. She's older than what she looks like. If you reach a certain level you won't age as much as others. So beware don't be deceived. You may think of dating a young woman but it may turn out to been an aunty.
Elizabeth miller started to give her speech about Azure High.
" Azure High academy is for nurturing the future powerhouses of humans. So that you guys can grow and support and protect our humanity when a crisis occurs. There'll be no discrimination between nobles and ccommoners inside the academy premisis. Our academy's only motto is improvement and result. If you don't improve yourself and show results you will be disqualified from the academy. "
At that the whole auditorium had a panicked expression. Seeing that Elizabeth had a satisfied expression.
"Don't worry there'll always be instructors to guide you for your betterment. If you have any problem you can directly contact the instructor. "
She continued like that and ended her speech everyone started to applaud don't know why.
The host came and called the top student who got selected for this year to give a speech.
A girl at the age 17 who had a blonde hair and red eyes with an indifferent expression came.
She's Luna Frost the prodigy who's the daughter of the Dustin Frost duke with a legendary grade bloodline. Her main weapon is a rapier at the start of the warriors way to be a myth novel. She's one of the main leads who's going to play an important role in the upcoming events with assisting the protagonist.
When she came to the stage everyone who saw her mesmerized in her beauty. She's one of top ten beauties of the novel which Ethan read.
She was about to open her mouth and start to give her speech. Everyone were silently waiting to hear her voice. Then they heard a snoring sound. Suddenly they all were dumbfounded. When they were expecting to hear the voice of the top prodigy all the heard was a snoring sound.
Luna turned to see who interrupted her speech and found a boy with a black hairseated in the last row was sleeping and snoring. Students sitting near him were froze with that idiots stupidity. They all had a same thought.
'What have I ever done to be seated next to this fool. '
Everyone turned to look at that boy. A student seated nearby woke him up. The boy opened his amethyst eyes and looked around and looked at the stage and finally understood what was going on. He had one thought running in his mind.
' I'm fucked. '
He hurriedly stood up and apologized and looked at Luna for a moment he froze . She was stunning. Even that was an understatement. He couldn't even fathom her beauty in words. He shook his head and asked her to continue.
Seeing this Luna thought something and continued her speech.
Ethan then sighed inwardly
' I never thought I'd be entangled with the main heroine in the first day. Hah what is this beauty I have never seen someone like that. If it's not for my increased mental abilities I would have been frozen completely by her beauty. '
'Is this what they call beauty kills. '
After that Ethan started to pay his attention. After Luna's speech ended the host instructed the students to check their Azure watch to see their classroom detail.
Azure watch was provided by Azure High for their students when they got their admission letter. It works like a phone which is mana powered.
Ethan checked his class and started panicking. He never expected that he would be in the same class with the protagonist and other main characters. He tried to cry but no tears came.
Seniors from the student Council started to guide the students to their respective classes. Ethan forcefully accepted his own situation, he can't change the class. Even if he did he should have to give a proper reason for that.
Ethan guided by his senior came to his class. Praying for his survival he entered the class.
