Chapter 30: Wanted
Kagura broke through the window, landing on top of a house but falling down breaking the weak roof. She fell down but landing well, she looked a bit around seeing two small children, a boy and a girl.
She decided not to immediately sped to max speed but simply jumped out and landing a bit more controlled with wind magic. From there she started to increase her speed breaking a couple windows with the sound barrier being broken.
There were no teleport and chase masters with the royal guards so the only thing they could do, was give the information about where she had ran to. They all returned to the principal's office for further interrogations.
Lacy was still shocked about these news. The woman he thought would be the perfect wife for him, was a wanted war criminal. Ari was feeling sorry for his friends and tried to make him feel a bit better.
Julius and Elsa saw this and felt angry. This criminal had tricked their friends and would have to pay for this. They would train harder than ever to get revenge for their friends. This would be their duty as traveler heroes.
Even if the appearance of the sleeping demon was only known by the principal, the four students and the trusted royal guard, the news traveled fast. The first to know was the known black-market owners.
This market, that sold almost anything, anywhere and for anyone, got the news about the wanted woman immediately. Can't be sure if one of the royal guards was a spy or was it because of some unique magic, but they still got the news.
From there the information traveled both ways. To the upper realms, lower ones, and the fifth realm itself. Many had paid to get information about the sleeping demon, instantly when some came available.
This would start on of the biggest moments in the history of the fifth realm. "The great hunt." An even where people from all realms, criminals, goons, adventurers, assassins and bounty hunters started to look and kill for just one person.
Kagura of course new about this, she wanted to release the information of her return a bit more controlled but at least the job got done. The reason was the core, she needed a core of an at least planet class monster.
Monsters that strong were already on the third realm, and she could not get them from there. And the next realm would also be a solitary one, so she had to get the core now. The best way to do so? Get bounty hunters and assassins from the upper realms to hunt her down.
They would be weakened because of the restrictions and she would have easy time killing them. During that time, she would have to do the other challenges and maybe even get more magic study ideas to do on the next realm.
Currently she was resting under a big tree. She herself was fine, but Ciara was tired because of her evolution and Kagura's speed was too high for her to manage. Kagura was sitting still with Ciara sleeping next to her.
She was thinking what this journey could have been like with Leo. They could have walked calmly through this calm and beautiful forest. Build a tent together and even look at the nightly stars.
"Where are you, Leo? Are you okay?"
Ciara was awake listening to Kagura. She was indeed tired but hadn't fell asleep immediately. She again listened to Kagura talking about the man called Leo. She had not met this man before but she knew how important he was to Kagura.
She was looking forward to their reunion. She hoped that Leo and she could become great friends. She again saw Kagura shed a single tear, that fell down her snow white cheek. Ciara was silently cursing the person who dared to separate these two. She was also wondering if this "Leo" was also going through these emotions.
And Leo was thinking about Kagura but not in the way, that Ciara was thinking. Currently Leo was in the sixth realm suffering, and thinking about Selina more than anyone.
His mom only came to his mind sometimes but mostly thought how she was probably fine on the tenth realm. And if she wasn't then he would get revenge when he was ready.
Back on the fifth realm, morning had come, Kagura gently shook Ciara awake.
"Wake up, we need to go!"
'Just a minute, let me sleep more.'
Kagura sighed at Ciara's answer, she stood up to do little stretches until she figured it out. Ciara had just talked to her!
"Ciara, you can talk?"
Now even Ciara stood up. She didn't mean to talk to her, she didn't even know she could speak. They both stared at each other, until Ciara screamed.
'MASTER I CAN SPEAK.'
She jumped towards Kagura hugging her waist like a child who had learned to walk. Kagura patted Ciara's head and was happy for her pet to learn how to speak. No, she already considered her a child of hers.
"When did you learn?"
'I don't know, it just came to my mind like I had always to knew how to do it.'
Kagura was surprised by that. She thought that Ciara had always known but didn't just want to tell that to her. However, it seemed that she had learned by evolving. Books didn't mention that pets could speak tho.
"Could you say something quickly?"
Ciara didn't know was Kagura was thinking about, but still decided to do so.
'I love master very very much!'
"Thank you, Ciara, however it seems like you can just speak telepathically."
'How do you know that?'
"Just now, I tried to lower your volume to almost mute, but I still heard you perfectly. The only explanation why this could be possible would be, that you speak inside my mind."
Ciara tilted her head a little bit but seemed to understand at least a little.
Kagura thought that this would be even more amazing news. This let them talk with themselves without worrying about others. This could help Kagura scout things from a birds POV. Even tho Kagura's eye magic was more powerful, it could still be helpful.
Kagura picked Ciara up and placed her on her shoulder and they started walking west, towards the continent of magic and away from the place where they had just ran away from.
There Kagura could do some challenges, she decided to do them first and this continents last after things had calmed down a little. This place would soon be full of small scale bounty hunters and idiots who thought, they could challenge her.
The wisest thing to do was to leave and wait until the big ones appeared. She could take care of people who could be dangerous to her son, and she could get the core for a new weapon.
The plan was ready and it was perfect. There weren't many things, which could ruin it and the only thing she had to do was to follow it. Here would start their journey of hiding, escaping and still doing the things they had to.
The life of being number one wanted person in the entire fifth realm and maybe even higher.
