Chapter 7: World Of Aria
Two months passed.
During all this time, Andrew expanded his knowledge with whatever means he had.
Whether it was asking Clara countless questions or making her buy relevant books. He did whatever he could to lay a solid foundation for his future.
Clara was more than happy to help him as she wanted the best for her son. His mental capabilities greatly shocked her but not to the point that she would suspect that he was possessed by someone else.
Andrew made sure to ask rather childish questions and verbally nudge her at times so she would get him more books.
He was especially interested in Azraa Continent's history. It was expansive and vast. The known history spaned over a million years. There were countless mythological and legendary beings that once existed here. Naturally, the public was given only a small fraction of the actual history as various forces controlled the information that was distributed to the masses.
The available information was just a couple of thousands of years old. With the most dazzling figure being Association Master of Magic Association.
There were five major forces that controlled the continent.
Magic Association, Leisar Empire, Alwood Kingdom, Kressa Kingdom, Farhan Empire.
Although there were more powers scattered throughout the continent, they weren't up to the standards to be considered one of the top powers.
The longest-living monarchy was Farhan Empire. It had been existing for over eight thousand years. its founder was Sairus Farhan.
Like any other powerhouse of the past time, he had been declared the second strongest after Magic Association Master.
The mysterious leader of Magic Association had been occupying the position of Association Master for over ten thousand years.
He had lived long enough to outlive the disappearance of every notable figure and stood at the top this whole time.
Magic Association was said to be the closest one to have chance to unify the entire continent!
Alas, it couldn't be further from the truth.
Azraa Continent had many races and the majority of them preferred to stay hidden from other's sight.
Naturally, they also had extremely powerful beings among them. Even Association Master wouldn't dare to act presumptuously in front of them.
There were just too many unknown dangers in this world. If one went around provoking every existence in the world, they would eventually stumble upon a death that they wouldn't be able to avoid.
Of course, it didn't mean that some people weren't haughty and arrogant...
This world had three major religions.
Demonic Cult!
Temple Of Life!
Church Of Light!
Yes! This world had gods! Of course, these gods didn't show themselves to mere mortals.
Those gods were considered the epitome of magic! The perfect lifeforms! The beings that attained immortality! They were perfect expressions of mana!
There were three known gods that once existed in this world and later went beyond it!
They were...
First Goddess Aria! She was the first being who had become a god! Once a person entered the path of magic the first word they would hear was her name! Aria the First Goddess!
Thus, the world's name was given in her honor as a way to immortalize her achievement!
Mana of the world itself chanted her name into a person's ears when a living being stepped on the path of magic!
World of Aria!
She was worshiped and respected by all races. Unlike the next god who was feared throughout the world.
Demon God Arhan!
He was someone who wielded death energy!
Mana had countless forms and variations, each person possessed a unique mana type and Demon God Arhan was precisely someone who had one of the most horrifying expressions of mana.
He originated from the race that was proclaimed by the world as demons! They wielded extremely harmful types of mana, solely used to take away energy from others and corrupt everything in its wake!
Until the rise of Demon God, they were hunted down like dogs, planting a seed of hatred in each member of that race. Demon God Arhan was no exception to it.
After becoming a god, the first thing he did was wipe out an entire race! They were called Solaris, they possed extreme purifying types of mana that were especially effective against demons.
Naturally, they capitalized on it and used their natural evolutionary advantage to suppress and enslave the majority of the demon race.
It's said to be that the purity of their energy was way superior to that of demons, until Demon God was born.
On top of his godly powers, he had mind-blowing pure death energy! Even when compared with the elite member of the Solaris race, it was just too much!
After exterminating the entire race, he bestowed the demonic society with his heirs that further spread his blood to the world!
Not just the entire Solaris race was wiped out, but demons became stronger on a fundamental level!
This made the world descend into utter chaos until a new god was born...
Solar Goddess Scarlett!
She is said to have awakened the blood of Solaris. The purest one at that. In fact, it was so pure that it was rumored to be able to match Demon God's death energy!
Unfortunately or fortunately for the world, the battle between two gods never happened as they existed millions of years apart.
In the world of magic, the bloodline of mages didn't fade away! It would be predominant in each descendant until a greater bloodline suppressed, overshadowed and seized its place in the body.
But Solaris race never came back to existence as Solar Goddess wasn't interested in it one bit.
The gods left their heritages of their existence in the form of religion. Each one spreading their own principles and doctrine.
First Goddess Aria also had a second title...
Life Goddess Aria!
Although it was less popular among mortals. In the community of mages, it was a blatant disrespect to not know her second title!
It's said that Temple of Life would personally hunt down anyone who dared to disrespect her.
And so did other religions for their respective gods.
Andrew was mesmerized by this new world...
