Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Destroying Half Paris Is A Small Crime.( Rewritten.)

When Grindelwald looked at Leo, who was chatting with Aliya with a proud look, he misunderstood Leo's intentions.

After chatting for some time...

"Hey, old man, why did you not visit us for so long?"

Leo looked at Grindelwald, who started to laugh loudly after hearing him.

Even though Leo knew about Grindelwald from his previous life and the conversation between his parents when he was a baby, they spoke little of him about Grindelwald before Leo started to speak.

"Well, I was in Nurmengaud. For a little mistake I made when I was pursuing my ambition. But don't worry about it, your grandfather is the most powerful wizard in the wizarding world."

Grindelwald said with a bitter smile, like a kind old man who had never hurt anyone. If Leo didn't know about him from his previous life's memory, he would have believed him.

"I don't know, destroying half of Paris is a small crime, Gellert."

While Grindelwald was trying his best to build a good image in his grandson's mind, there was a friendly voice coming out from behind him.

Hearing the voice, the smile on Gillert's face froze, and his lips twitched.

'Damn you, Albus. Can't you see I was building a good image for myself?'

Grindelwald turned and looked at the figures that entered the house.

"Long time no see, Albus. Seeing you reminds me of the old days."

The Grindelwald's expression changed immediately, and he welcomed Dumbledore, who was looking at him with an amused smile.

"What!!! You destroyed half of Paris."

Leo looked at Grindelwald, who shrugged his shoulders like it was nothing to do with him.

"So, don't take him as an example and learn bad habits. Be a good boy."

Dumbledore placed his hands on Leo's head and ruffled his hair.

Aliya, who heard Dumbledore's voice, came out of the kitchen to welcome him with a smile.

After that, Grindelwald and Dumbledore started bickering with each other.

Dumbledore only told Leo that Grindelwald was a rebel who had made many wrong choices in the past, but now he had realized and corrected his mistakes.

During this whole time, Grindelwald kept glaring at Dumbledore.

When he noticed Grindelwald's glare, he changed the subject to how Grindelwald contributed to the wizarding world with his research.

He had contributed much to his prison, which led to his release.

After hearing the explanation, Leo finally understood that he was not in the same Harry Potter universe where Grindelwald was released from a lifetime prison in Nurmergaurd.

About how much his arrival had changed the original plot, so he would not be completely able to trust his memories.

'So, I was in an Alternate Universe of Harry Potter. Huh... Wait... I am forgetting something.'

Leo went into deep thought, thinking about what he had forgotten.

'Harry, wait... I invited Harry to our house.'

Leo suddenly remembered that he had invited Harry to his house.

"Mother, I invited my friend to our house. I need to go and pick him up."

Leo informed his mother, which surprised her.

Later, she became happy that her son made a friend on his first day of school.

"My baby made a friend at school! What is his name?"

Aliya asked while pinching Leo's cheeks.

Because she was worried Leo would be isolated in this muggle school.

"Ah... Mom, leave me. My friend's name is Harry Potter."

Freeing himself from his mother's grip, Leo stated his friend's name.

Hearing Harry Potter's name, the room suddenly became silent.

While Grindelwald and Leo were looking at Dumbledore, who was giving a look of pity when Harry's name was mentioned.

"I wanted to talk to you about this, Father."

Gary looked at Dumbledore with a serious look on his face.

After hearing how Harry was treated in his uncle's house, Aliya was very angry, while Dumbledore didn't look that surprised and had a sigh...

"Albus, don't tell me you already knew this. Judging from your expression, you did nothing to stop this."

Grindelwald, who found the opportunity, didn't waste any time and shared the news with everyone.

'Damn it, Gillert, you haven't changed your old habits.'

Feeling everyone's eyes on him, Dumbledore cursed Grindelwald inside, seeing Grindelwald's smug look.

"Harry needs to stay with his aunt because of his mother's protective charm she cast on him."

Dumbledore started to explain why he left Harry with his aunt's family.

After hearing about the complication of the charm that was cast on Harry, even Grindelwald became interested in it.

"Okay, then I will go and pick him up. He is afraid his uncle will not allow him to play with his friend."

Leo stood from his place and walked towards the door.

"Wait, kid, I will accompany you."

Grindelwald followed behind Leo.

He arrived before the Dursleys' house and rang the bell.

Dursley's house...

Ding... Dong...

Ding... Dong...

"Coming."

There was a woman's voice coming from inside the house.

A tall, thin woman with a long neck and a long, drawn face opened the door.

She has fair skin that tends to look rather pale with blonde hair tightly pulled back into a neat bun.

She is wearing very prim and proper clothing while she exudes an air of strictness.

"Hi, Mrs. Dursley. I am a friend of Harry's and came here to invite him to dinner,"

Leo asked Petunia formally with a smile on his face.

"There is no such boy in this house!"

Before Petunia could answer, there was a man's angry voice coming from inside the house.

A fat man with a big mustache came with an angry face and slammed the door shut.

There was silence for a few seconds...

"Leo, is the address correct?"

Grindelwald looked at Leo for his answer.

"No, the address is correct."

Leo shook his head in denial and once again rang the bell.

Ding... Dong...

Ding... Dong...

This time Vernon opened the door and looked at the boy and the old man still standing at their door.

"Hey, boy! Didn't I say earlier that there is no such boy named Harry in this house? Do..."

Vernon roared, looking at Leo with a frown.

"Mr. Dursley, if Harry is not here, then who is he?"

Leo interrupted Vernon while pointing to a boy who was peeking out from the cupboard under the stairs.

Suddenly, Stephen started to shout for the police, leaving Petunia dumbfounded.

Her husband, Vernon Dursley, panicked and interrupted Stephen, asking him to take Harry with him.

'Leo came here to pick me. What should I do? Uncle Vernon looks very angry. Why do Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and Dudley hate me so much? What did I do to them to make them hate me this much?'

Harry looked at Leo with a worried face.

Harry, who was caught red-handed, walked out of the cupboard.

"Harry, what are you doing there? Come here."

Leo called Harry to stand beside him.

"Harry, this is my other grandpa I told you about, Albus Dumbledore. This is Grandma Minerva, and this is Hagrid."

Leo, without paying attention to angry Vernon like he did not exist, introduced Harry to his grandfather.

Grindelwald's lip curled upward, seeing how Leo was treating his opponent, and nodded in satisfaction.

When Grindelwald noticed Harry, his attention was caught by the scar on his head which emitted a very familiar black magic, which made him frown looking at it.

'It seems I should speak with Albus.'

Grindelwald made a mental note to look at Harry's scar.

"Boy, I was speaking with you. Don't ignore me."

Vernon looked very dissatisfied with Leo ignoring him.

"Well, Mr. Vernon, you see I know you already know about who Harry is."

Leo answered Vernon with an angry look on his face.

When Harry's heritage was mentioned, both Vernon and Petunia's eyes widened in shock.

"You, who are you?"

Vernon asked Leo while looking at him cautiously.

"Me! I am a wizard, just like Harry, and this one who is standing before you is one of the strongest wizards in the wizarding world."

Leo introduced himself and Grindelwald pointed at him.

When Vernon turned and looked at Grindelwald, he felt the pressure building on him.

'Wizard?'

Harry looked at Leo and his uncle, who looked very shocked when Leo introduced himself as a wizard.

"Bullying Harry, huh... Think carefully, your every action towards Harry will be monitored. They didn't take action because you guys are blood relatives to Harry. If anything happens to Harry, well, you can think about the consequences yourselves."

Hearing every word Leo said, Vernon and Petunia's faces turned pale.

"So, take care of him very well, OK? Now I am taking him to my house."

Leo took Harry's hand and dragged him out of the house while Harry looked at his uncle and aunt, whose faces turned ugly and didn't stop them.

Leo's house...

On the way back to Leo's house, Harry looked at Leo curiously and wanted to ask some questions.

"Your questions will be answered in my house."

Leo interrupted him before he asked. Harry nodded his head and followed Leo.

"Welcome to my home, Harry."

Leo opened the door to his house and welcomed Harry with a wide smile.

"Mom, Harry is here."

Leo called Aliya who came with a motherly smile and gave cookies to him and Harry.

"Welcome, Harry. Don't be shy here. It is like your home."

Aliya ruffled Harry's head when she noticed Harry was tense looking at them.

Harry's eyes started to get wet.

"Poor child."

There was a woman's voice coming from behind them. When Harry and Leo turned, they saw Menerva and Hagrid standing behind them.

"Albus already told me leaving the child with them is not a good idea. See how they are treating him."

McGonagall looked at Harry with pity.

"What should we do, the solution demands it, Menerva."

Dumbledore shook his head in helplessness.

Harry looked at the three people dressed weirdly, talking about him curiously.

"Harry, come!!! This is my other grandpa I told you about, Albus Dumbledore. This is Grandma Minerva, and this is Hagrid."

Leo introduced them to Harry with an excited smile.

When he introduced McGonagall, she ruffled his hair with a smile on her face.

When Hagrid and McGonagall heard about Harry's situation from Dumbledore, they came here to discuss it with him.

When they looked at Harry, who was wearing old clothes, broken glasses, and a malnourished body, they were really angry.

"How dare they treat you like that."

Hagrid frowned when he heard how Harry was treated straight from Harry's mouth.

Harry enjoyed staying at Leo's house and even forgot about the wizard thing he wanted to ask.

After seeing this cheerful family, Harry suddenly became sad.

After dinner was over, it was time for Harry to go back.

Leo walked Harry to his uncle's house.

Leo consoled Harry that Dursley's won't bother him or bully him.

Harry was shocked to see his friend was very confident and nodded his head.

Harry was grateful for Leo and felt a sense of comfort and belonging when he spent time with Leo's family.

When Harry entered the house, Dursleys didn't scold or bully him.

Seeing the change in treatment, Harry became very happy and entered the cupboard.

He felt a sense of hope and excitement for the future, and he knew that he was in good hands with Leo by his side.
