Chapter 29: 29: A Promise to Wakanda
"I want your vibranium, not for any illegal reasons of course," Austin said with a calm smile, although it wouldn't be this easy, he decided to take the risk.
S'Yan revealed a shocked expression before calming down, he looked at Austin and said.
"And you think we will just give it to you because you asked? Aye"
"of course not, you guys can request anything from me, my promises won't be taken lightly," Austin said and raised his aura, causing a suffocating presence to enter the whole room.
"with your power, you could literally just rob us if you wanted to, but you came here to ask me, how amusing," S'Yan said with a laugh as he held onto his stomach.
Austin didn't know how to react so he just watched.
"Before we do anything else, one thing concerns me, how did you learn about our sacred city? and how did you find out we have vibranium," S'Yan said with a serious tone and expression, this seemed to be the question that bothered him the most.
"would you believe me if I said I have powers to see into the future?" Austin replied expressionlessly.
"Who would believe that bullshit" S'Yan almost shouted as he slammed his hand on the table and stood up.
Seeing as their conversation was taking a turn, Austin decided to use some knowledge to his advantage.
"how about this, next year your nephew T'chala will become king, if that's not proof enough of my powers then, your first king "Bashenga" United the tribes after he predicted a cosmic explosion of energy from the great mound, which brought vibranium to you wakandians, it is also the reason I am here, I mean no harm," Austin said all of this calmly while looking at the S'Yan.
Hearing all of these words S'Yan was put in a shocked state for a second before he looked at Austin in shock.
S'Yan didn't think much about Austin knowing about T'Challa becoming the next king, but when he heard the second part his expression changed drastically.
"you- how do you know about all of this?" S'Yan said with a shy voice as he stumbled back a step.
"I just told you I have the powers to see into the future, and the future of Wakanda, is not looking too good," Austin said while he stood up and looked at S'Yan in the eyes.
"not good? how could our city be in danger, what do you know" S'Yan became uncomfortable and decided to ask, perhaps this outsider knew something.
"if you give me what I asked for I'll tell you" Austin sighed and kept his gaze on S'Yan.
"vibranium.... vibranium, hmm fine, but if your information is unimportant you shall forever be an enemy got the wakandians," S'Yan said after contemplating it for a long while.
"I have no reason to lie to you, you have seen my face," Austin said with a laugh as he looked at S'Yan.
"come with me then, hide your presence and don't come out, after you get as much vibranium as you want we can talk about my end of the deal," S'Yan said hesitatingly, he didn't want to make this deal, but after everything, this strange outside knew, and the fact that Wakanda would be in danger in the future, it shocked him.
his love for his people was what pushed him to trust this shady outsider.

Austin hid his presence outside of the Palace and waited for S'Yan to walk out of Palace.
Although it was dark outside, S'Yan still went outside with some new guards and headed toward the vibranium extraction site.
Austin followed stealthily behind them, After S'yan entered the site Austin used his StarGate to teleport inside and follow behind him like a shadow.
Although the guards were confused as to why S'Yan wanted to come here, they still decided to follow without question.
after a few minutes of walking through the site, S'Yan and his guards entered a room filled with glass containers that contained a lot of Vibranium.
"Which ones do I take" Austin's voice eerily entered S'Yan's ears as they entered the room.
S'Yan didn't reply but pointed at a huge stack of Vibranium which was in containers in the back of the high-tech room before leaving.
The guards didn't say anything and exited with S'Yan before entering the palace once again.
After they left, Austin used Stargate to appear beside the stash of Vibranium and threw all the containers into his inventory, there was a lot of it, over a few hundred containers.
After getting the vibranium, Austin appeared back in S'Yan's room using Stargate.
"you came," S'Yan said with a smile.
"of course I did, I wasn't going to scam you' Austin laughed, he found it amusing.
"so, tell me about the future of Wakanda," S'Yan said as he became serious.
Austin told S'Yan about the appearance of kill monger and him trying to take over Wakanda, as well as the appearance of Thanos and how Wakanda would be destroyed, he didn't say anything about the Talokan though.
Although Austin told S'Yan that Thanos would destroy Wakanda, he would also destroy half of the world, he also informed S'Yan that by the time Thanos came, Austin would be strong enough to fight the mad titan.
it took a while for S'Yan to take this all in, but after calming down his raging anger due to the deaths of his people which Austin told him about, he looked at Austin and calmly said.
"how about this, since I gave you the vibranium, promise me that whenever Wakanda was on the verge of being extinct, you will come and save us, I will also inform T'Challa about you, he is the future king after all he needs to know", S'Yan said with a sigh, his heart ached for his people, but even so he saw the light of hope through this mysterious character which could see into the future.
"you have my promise, it was nice dealing with you, till we meet again" Austin replied and shook hands with S'Yan before departing out of Wakanda through the night sky.
