Chapter 9: Chapter 9: Month of Hell.

It was safe to say, please stay in school kids...

My new protégé, quite literally sucked at everything that wasn't related to combat and even then, she wasn't too good either. I tried showing her how to do secretary work, failed. Maybe she could be good at dungeon porting? Nope. I was truly befuddled, hence why I'm standing before her now in an open field.

"Okay, Sun-Ah, since your talent in anything non-combat related doesn't exist, we're going back to combat," Sun-Ah looked depressed at my words but she rebounded and had eyes full of determination.

"Yes Teacher!" I couldn't help but let out a smile, but not out of pride. Out of pure joy. I believe it's due to my inherent nature as a Sin, but I find extreme amounts of joy in beating people much weaker than me. Anyways, I put my hands up and did the old 'come at me' gesture.

Sun-Ah ran forward and sloppily swung at me with her new dagger. I weaved every single attack and she eventually got tired, big mistake. I shot forward and restrained myself by 99% before gut checking Sun-Ah, causing her to spit up some saliva.

She fell to her knees and I was going to deliver another attack but she rolled backwards and dodged my kick. She then sprung forward again and was in the air with her dagger raised above her head. When she swung it down on my, I grabbed her wrist and used her momentum to slam her into the ground.

Oh shit, maybe I did that a little too hard, "Sun-Ah are you alright?" I asked from outside the dust cloud, "Y-Yes Teacher! I'm fine!" She sounded a little angry but as long as she wasn't dead.

I saw a black object fly through the dust cloud and I caught her dagger between my two fingers before looking down and seeing her come at me with an uppercut. I let her hit me but I didn't flinch and only smiled, "Sun-Ah, may this be a lesson learned," I flicked her forehead and sent her rolling across the ground.

I walked over to her crater and Sun-Ah was laid out, completely exhausted. I laughed and got her a water from my [Inventory], something I never knew I had until like yesterday...maybe I should pay more attention to my system? I think it's feeling a bit neglected but I can't really understand interdimensional supercomputer emotions very well.

Anyways, she caught the water bottle and sat in silence for a while before she spoke up, "Teacher, I don't think a dagger is fit for me. It's good for speed, but I think something longer is needed, especially since I don't want to get in close quarters with you every single time," A good self-analysis, something I bet she's already been aware of but she just didn't have the financial liberty to change her weapon.

"So what are you thinking of switching to?"

"I was thinking of a rapier. It's long, fast, and something I think I could use very well," She was 100% confident in her answer so I nodded.

"Well, how about this, I'll buy you a regular rapier and if you manage to injure me with the rapier before the month is over, I'll buy you any weapon along with a set of armor," Sun-Ah looked shocked before she began tearing up.

"T-Thank you Teacher, I won't let you down!" She yelled and thus began our month of training.

---------

[1 week later]

"C'mon Sun-Ah, how do you expect to injure me if you can't even lift up something so light?" I saw an anime anger tick mark grow on Sun-Ah's forehead as she dragged a huge piece of concrete. I'd say it weighed around 100-150lbs, so something that is possible for her to move.

Sun-Ah's current training regime was the All Might special. I hired a bunch of hunters to litter the beach with debris and heavy stuff and now I'm making Sun-Ah clean it all up, maybe I should feed her a hair and see what happens...yeah!

"Oi, Sun-Ah hold on for a moment," Sun-Ah stopped dragging the concrete debris and looked at me with confusion. I plucked one of my hairs and presented it to her, "Young Sun-Ah, I believe it is time for you to inherit Slumber For All."

"Slumber For All? Teacher what is that?" I held in my laugh and looked at the setting sun, "Slumber For All has been passed down from generation to generation. This ability makes the user put other people to sleep, with their fist and strength, and now it is time for you to inherit it Young Sun-Ah." The wind conveniently started to blow, making my hair move with it, making me actually feel the scene.

"A-Are you sure Teacher? I...I don't think I deserve it," Sun-Ah began to cry and now I felt bad for trolling her, I sighed internally and asked my system a question.

'Is it possible for me to give Sun-Ah a copy of one of my skills?'

[Yes, it is possible. But depending on the skill, it may be too powerful for her body, causing her to explode]

Damn. Is that a risk I'm willing to take? I sighed internally again and went through with it.

'The skill I want to copy is [Dormancy]. Will that make her explode?'

[Without a doubt, but there is an alternative. I can give her the skill in portions. Currently, her level is 15, so she can handle about 5% of the skill. She'll completely unlock it once she hits level 50]

'Okay! That's good, please do that and transfer the skill through this strand of hair.'

[Dormancy copied!]

I left my thoughts and noticed about a second had passed. I placed my hand on Sun-Ah's head and gave her a genuine smile, "Sun-Ah, no matter what anyone tells you, you are destined for great things. So what if you're the worlds weakest hunter? Everyone should have a chance in achieving their dreams, and that includes you. So of course you deserve it!" I pulled Sun-Ah into a hug and she began crying, this girl has been through so much Jesus Christ...

After about three minutes she stopped crying and she showed her the hair again, "Now in order to inherit Slumber For All, you need to ingest DNA material from a current holder. So hair is the best option, unless you have any alternatives?" Sun-Ah shook her head and looked a bit disgusted at the alternatives she thought of. As she ate my hair, her eyes glowed with the colors of the rainbow before she fell to her knees.

"Woah..." Sun-Ah said so I made sure to warn her, "Now, Slumber For All is a very volatile ability and in your current state, your body will explode if you even try to use it, so your training regime is going to get increase in order for your body to withstand the drawbacks, alright?" Sun-Ah sighed but smiled, "Alright!"

[3 weeks later]

"TOKYO SMASH!" A huge column of air pressure traveled towards me and destroyed anything in it's path. I was now restricting myself by 95% and I deflected Sun-Ah's attack with ease. She sprinted forward at full speed and we met fist to fist, sending debris flying into the air.

"You're not half bad Sun-Ah, but you'll have to try harder!" I increased my strength and sent her flying across the beach. She caught herself using her basic rapier and looked up with a shiteating grin. I was confused for a moment before I felt blood drip down my cheek and I saw a small cut.

When the hell did she do this? Sun-Ah walked over and her smile was very wide, "How'd you like that Teacher? It's a new series of attacks I've been working on, I have no name for it though..."

I laughed, "Not bad kid...not bad at all," I ruffled her hair and I felt a sense of pride fill me. Is this what parents feel? Can't say I don't enjoy it...
