Chapter 14: 13 Future Plans
[POV Asher]
In the War Room
All four Generals were there and Vincent was present through a hologram.
"Okay Generals the bad news is that it seems that the core materials for the construction of star destroyers are not on the market which we found out on the colony so a potential repair of the resurgent is impossible until we find all core materials"
"However, that in itself is good news that no other nation can build such weapons and ships yet without the materials" I said
[Minerva: Master it seems there is a misunderstanding in the building materials]
"Hmm what do you mean Minerva?"
[Minerva: From your List of Materials, you got from the Merchant we can build grey steel as all Raw Materials are present to process to grey steel. So, unless the Ion Canons and Engines are damaged, we can fully repair the Resurgent]
"Was grey steel not a raw material?" I asked puzzled
[Minerva: No, it is a further processed material which thanks to the mass-production of Chinese and Indian players in Galactic Infinity became an interpreted raw material]
"Oh, then do you have the method to process it?"
[Minerva: Yes Master, however the raw materials of ion ore and cyber crystals are needed if we want to build new star destroyers or repair the vital systems of the resurgent in case of battle damage]
"Hmm that is indeed a problem. Well, I have a proposal that we venture out to the unclaimed territories and establish a base. What do you think Generals"
"Agreed we need to establish a base for supplies and repairs otherwise the Resurgent will lose effectiveness in two years," said Konstantin
"I agree," said Bill
"Approved" said Viktor
"I also agree, but why don´t we establish a base in the Empire," said Leon
"Because it is a too high-risk factor for us. So it is wise to establish a base outside the grasp of any nation, therefore I agree with the proposal," said Vincent
"However, the building of a base is also challenging since we lack all necessary materials to set up all necessary planetary facilities" I said
[Minerva: Master except for the ion reactors for the facilities we can buy materials from the colony which then can be processed in the ship inbuild laboratory to the necessary materials and stored in the warehouse. After processing the droids just have to assemble the facilities later.]
´Oh right how could I forgot something like that´ I said inwardly
The designed accommodations for all officers and enlisted personal for the resurgent in the original were all empty thanks to Minerva who could control the ship alone so I inbuild a own designed laboratory.
It is a combination of a research centre where new items, liquids, materials and technologies can be researched and a small factory for the production, refitting and repair of various prototypes. Ranging from droids and weapons to AT-AT Walkers.
Well, there are also some huge glass pots for gene and dna modifications. And if my memory serves me right, I transported some unfinished technologies and prototypes into the laboratory before we set off. While doing Missions we often had some long voyages in the Guild and I was quite bored sometimes and have done some research part-time.
´Right back to the conversation´ I snapped back into reality after thinking about the laboratory.
"Well, that means we have to find a planet as a base with ion mines to then process the ion into ion reactors otherwise our buildings won´t work"
[Minerva: Yes, Master but you also have to contribute to make the necessary blueprints.]
"Oh, yes of course" I said
"Then next to the agenda what should we do about Princess Aria?" I spoke
"We can kill her after we made it through to the unclaimed territories so the trouble that we are monitored is removed," said Viktor
´Sigh´, There we go again I thought inwardly.
"That is too radical, Princess Aria is an important chess piece for us to make plans about the Hohenburg Empire" I said
"Besides when we are strong enough her position will be nothing more than a hostage"
"That is right with the help of us Princess Aria can claim the throne and then we can use her to turn the Hohenburg Empire into a vassal state in the Future," said Vincent
"Besides when we gained enough Economic and Military power in the unclaimed territories, we can use the Hohenburg Empire as a resource income and springboard to invade other nations. Aren´t those your plans Captain," said Vincent
"You are right since we arrived here, I had some plans to establish an authoritative power in this galaxy. Otherwise, we will be swallowed up by all eyes who pry for our technologies"
"It is a devil cycle unless we become stronger, we will always be at the mercy of other countries and to avoid that we should built our own nation and crush all others!" I spoke
"So, we all agree that we let the Princess do as she wishes for now?"
"Yes" said Vincent
"Affirmative" said the rest of the Generals
"Okay then Vincent while you are doing the paperwork for establishing the guild, buy raw materials in bulk for the facilities we will set up"
"Understood Captain," said Vincent
"Then with this I conclude the meeting, everybody back to your stations"
"Yes!" spoke the Generals in unison
I also made my way back to my personal quarters to begin the designs for the planetary base.
The next few days I worked hard on the blueprints with Minerva.
In the time I worked Vincent completed his task and spent half a million to buy all the necessary raw materials and also nearly completed the paperwork's with Aria for the Guilds establishment.
