Chapter 30: Zoom, Beginning of The OPness

After an hour,

After they finished eating and drinking, Hiruma and Tsubone exited the dungeon and returned to the small world.

They still had some time until morning. And the ship, on which Enrich employees would greet and guide them, wouldn't arrive until late afternoon.

Tsubone was discovering her new and very first ability. Her only power as a priest thus far, which was Heal*. She would only awaken others as she synchronized with the class.

This subsequent skill awakening phenomenon was personal and about talent. Though there was a bit of prayer and meditation involved too. To each class's respective deity. It had the potential to accelerate the process.

She was overjoyed to have the healing ability after seeing how effective it was when Hiruma used it. And she, like Hiruma, did not need to use Nen to perform the skill. She even joked about making a new Hatsu for herself with the skill.

Hiruma had no idea how powerful this new nun-educated, nun-enlightened Tsubone could be. To be honest, he had no idea how strong she was before she changed…

If it were a game, with her new priest form, it would be as though she were returned to level 1, while keeping her previous strong stats and formidable skills. Her previous limits had also been unlocked.

Her physical and mental limitations had been lifted, even if she had not necessarily become more gifted and talented as a person. In many ways, what she had now was superior to talent because she had no limitations on what she could accomplish.

Furthermore, the more key thing was that with Heal* she would never run out of vigor. Nen was energy in the form of life force or vitality, and the skill healed energy.

Hiruma, unlike this new Tsubone, could still run out of stamina and Nen because he used up a little more than he should while performing the skill. He lacked skill and was raw in his touches. But it wouldn't be long before he figured it out. Especially with his Masteries. It wasn't a big deal.

A phone charging from a faulty or damaged battery was an excellent example of his current minor concern. Hiruma's phone's battery was insufficiently charged. It couldn't let him use the phone while it was charging. After a point, the juice would run out. So, unless he started lowering the tremendous quantity of Energy he could spend over a lengthy conflict, he would be juiced out.

Tsubone was out doing her thing inside the little world, which was anything but small in fact. Hiruma was out and about as well. He wasn't worried about losing sight of the woman on his planet because his senses, his EN, worked differently.

In fact, in the hour since they agreed to awaken some of his mob units to Nen, he demonstrated to Tsubone how quickly he could join her and whisk her away from this world. His world.

It was nearly like teleportation, which it was…

Yes, in reality, Hiruma was presently studying this ability. He'd obtained it as a drop on this excursion.

Zoom*.

This was the name of the fascinating but not rare skill that had dropped this time from the boss, "Master of Nu'un."

This skill, which was not uncommon in Dragon Quest games and was one of the first to be obtained, allowed characters to return to any location they had previously visited, and the people they touched were transported with them.

However, this explanation was merely the logic of the game. Him owning this small universe like the back of his pocket through perception, was the best proof.

There was no need for visits as a restriction.

The Zoom* skill, this extremely basic Dragon Quest skill, had a minimal consumption…

Despite its lesser indomitability, Heal* had almost the same energy demand.

"This system is a bit Broken…"

Hiruma muttered pensively.

He was ruminating on how to make Zoom* even more beneficial by incorporating it, if possible, into some Hatsu.

His EN wasn't as powerful in the outside world… For the skill to be useful in combat, Hiruma's perception had to be at work.

With his innate capacity for Enhancement, a Hatsu wasn't particularly critical, but as they say, "in Rome, do as the Romans do."

Minutes later, that said, his idea was good in theory; however, reality was harsh.

"But let's take a break…"

Hiruma stood.

After thinking for a long time, he decided to give up for now. Tsubone, who had more knowledge, could advise him. He couldn't think of anything more useful than how the skill was currently used, so he was better off waking up his monsters to their Nen departments.
