High in the earth's atmosphere, a large circular spaceship could be seen hovering about. The ship was as large as a city.
A woman was currently running through the ship. She had long black hair and was wearing a white lab coat. She was clutching a tablet against her chest.
After a few minutes of running she stopped Infront of a large door. She placed her palm on a screen to the side of the door which scanned her palm. The door slid open allowing her to see the room Infront of her.
It was a big office with a huge window at one side that allowed a person to look a the vast open sky.
Seated in the room was a man with a muscular build dressed in a black suit. He stopped what he was doing on his tablet as he fixed his gaze on the lady that just arrived.
"What is it Neko? I'm a bit busy at the
moment." the man said, quite annoyed.
"Sir, we have a problem!" Neko exclaimed as she walked into the office.
" What problem ?" the man asked.
"It's best if I show you." Neko held the tablet towards the window and swiped towards it.
A video started playing on the window. The video showed a storm occuring in a forest.
Several lightning bolts were striking the forest.
To the man's surprise, the lightning bolts weren't affecting the plants in the forest. But, any beast they hit would instantly die.
He was already shocked, but what he saw next made his jaw drop.
"Was...was that a rank 6 beast?" he stammered as a spider-like beast with six red dots on its head was instantly killed by a lightning bolt.
He regained his composure as the video ended and the window went back to normal.
"Do we have any facilities close to this forest ?" he asked Neko.
"No. But the Hekel's academy is quite close" she replied.
"Hekel... Nevermind. Take one of the scouts with you and gather as much information as you can about this strange phenomenon. It's safe to assume that Hekel is already on the case so try your best to assist him." the man gave out an order to Neko.

A group of three people were wandering around the forest looking for clues relating to the storm which had disappeared after raging for almost an hour.
Even though the storm didn't take too long, the damage it had caused was very noticeable.
The forest floor was littered with dead beasts of various colours and sizes. They were mostly between rank 1 and 3 with the rare sight of some rank 4 beasts.
" Damn, look at all these beasts ! Why can't we just harvest a few beast cores, it won't take long?" one the three said as he inched closer to a corpse of a rank 4 beast.
"We've been given a specific order and that is to look for anything relating to the storm a few minutes ago, nothing more, nothing less. "another person responded as he raised his finger and pointed it towards the person moving towards the dead beast.
"Oh come on Drake ! It's just one beast core." the person moving towards the beast yelled frantically as he struggled to move. He appeared to be frozen in place. Then a second later he was sent flying a few meters back.
*Ding*
A sound was heard from the wristband Drake was wearing. He quickly checked the band.
" What now?" a female, the only one in the group asked.
" We'll be having some company very soon...from the military." Drake replied.
