Ava realized how wrong she had been when she blurted out her feelings. It was so foolish of her to say something so unnecessary. Telling William she loved him was a mistake she should have kept to herself.

She averted her gaze. She got down from the bed, walked a few steps to pick up her black lace panties lying on the floor, and slowly put them back on, ignoring William, who was waiting for her response.
