Chapter 46: The Demon Slayer Corp
Tatuya stared speechless at Ubuyashiki, he didn't say anything or even heard what Ubuyashiki told he said
"I see you're shocked, sorry for the sudden proposal" Ubuyashiki said. Reiko stands up for Ubuyashiki to sit down close to Tatsuya
"Let's start with the introduction, My name is Ubuyashiki Haruka, the leader of this small family known as the Demon Slayer Corp" Ubuyashiki said
"Ta-Tatsuya Uzui..."
"Haa...Reiko judged from your appearance that you will be the Shinigami making waves within the Himari province"
"I guess i became that popular, I'm quite suprised myself"
"Well then Shinigami-san, would you please use the strength of yours to save humans rather than kill them" Ubuyashiki said in a calm and soothing voice, Tatsuya wasn't suprised he expected that much from the man himself
'Fuck....my dream is coming through, but i don't have to show it, i have to play cool and calm, yes I've got this'
"How much is the pay"
"Huhhh?? How can you asked for payment, don't you care about human lives you save" Reiko angrily barks
"I'm a ninja, i kill for money, what's the difference" Tatsuya looked at her with a cold gaze releasing so much killing intent making Reiko flinch for a moment
'How can someone have so much killing intent, almost like a demon'
"But still..."
"Calm down Reiko-chan" Ubuyashiki said
Reiko bends down on her knees and hit her head on the floor
"I'm so sorry Oyakata-sama"
"It's alright" Ubuyashiki said and turns towards Tatsuya
"20,000 Sen, Thats how much the lowest rank is paid, do we have a dea..."
"Deal!!!"
"I'm glad, i will like you to rest and train for a month, during that time a swordsmith will bring a set of ores for you to select, do you understand Tatsuya?" Ubuyashiki asked
"Yes..."
"Alright then, I'll take my leave, Reiko-chan I'm counting on you" Ubuyashiki leaves the room
"Tsk, now i have to baby sit you for two months..."
"How about the girl demon?" Tatsuya cut her short
"Why asking all of a sudden, well she ran away, she knew i was far more stronger than you..." Reiko flecks her Imaginary muscles
"....And unlike you i value lives more than killing, so i rescued you, atleast I've paid my dept"
"Thanks"
"For now you need to stand up so we will take a walk, you have been laying on the bed for two months, you need exercise, here stand up" She forced him up
Tatsuya was bandaged allthrough except his leg and head, his hand where together.
The two left the room and entered a huge hallway, with beds arranged orderly left and right. with patients on them and some Kakushi tending to them. Both of them walked slowly until they left the place.
As they stepped outside, Tatsuya was greeted with a beautiful sight, a big compound decorated with flawors, and bench for resting, demon slayers were practising and doing all sort of physical activities.
Tatsuya and Reiko walk straight to one of then bench and sat down, Reiko removes the bandage all over him and revealed his sturdy and well built body, riddled with scars from training and battles.
His body immediately caught the eyes of the female kakushi all over the place, while some male demon slayers and kakushi were all jealous
"Sweet, i feel kinda stiff though"
Tatsuya stretches and flecks his muscles
"If i may ask what are the rankings of the Demon slayer corp" Tatsuya asked while doing some push ups
"Hmm... Hinoto, hinoe, Kinoto with Kinoe being the highest, why do you need that anyways"
"I just wanted to know, is that a big deal"
"No, after all Oyakata-sama accepted you"
Tatsuya continued his minor workout, few minutes later 2 small girls runs out from the health facility heading towards Reiko and Tatsuya
"Yuma-chan Yuki-chan, whats the problem" Reiko asked the two small girls
"Itss...its him" Yuma points towards a raging boy who came out of the building covered in bandage
'Rengoku??' Tatsuya thought to himself
"Where is that old hag!!? His voice thundered throughout the compound
'Nope definitely not the Rengoku i know'
"Haa...This again" Reiko sighs and stands up, she head towards Rengoku and places her finger gently on his chest, his eyes went blank and white fumes comes out from his mouth as he blanks out
"There girls, with a little touch and you will calm him down" Reiko grins
"Reiko-nee!!" The girls hugs her with tears all over their eyes.
And this continued, a few weeks later Reiko was sent on another mission, leaving the two girls to tend to Tatsuya, his ore also arrived that same week for him to choose, his recovery was smooth, but only when girls are around to keep him company.
Now it was a month
In Reiko's house, Tatsuya was broke to afford one and decided to crash in.
Tatsuya sat in the veranda outside, and infront of him was his swordsmith with his with his newly crafted katana, beside him were the two girls Yuma and Yuki in charge over him.
The swordsmith carefully unpacked his katana which was tied with a piece of white cloth.
It was black all through, the sheath, the handle, while the guard was rectangular, Tatsuya glared with at it with drool on his mouth.
The swordsmith carefully handed it to over to Tatsuya.
Tatsuya unsheath the katana and after some second it turn black. The Swordsmith and the girls steps back in shock.
'Yeah i know what this mean, but let me just ask'
"Whats the shock all about" Tatsuya asked
"Well we haven't had a case where a katana turned black" The swordsmith answered
"So what does this mean?" Tatsuya asked again
"I don't know, but I'll look after it, but for the mean time..."
"Kaw kaw, Tatsuya-sama, kaw kaw Tatsuya-sama" A black Crow hovered round the bulding
"you have been given orders on your first mission kaw, you are to get prepared and leave once kaw, the journey ahead will be very tough, hope you are ready, for your fiest mission Tatsuya-sama kaw...."
