Chapter 86: Chapter 79 - The King of the Darkness Below Against Lord of The Apokolips
I don't care if the power scale is all over the place. Comics scaling are so ridiculous and stupid that I can't even fathom how they able to make it interesting.
Regardless, Scaling doesn't matter when my mc is the plot itself and will be aware of it.

The heroes watched in disbelief someone would outright confront Darkseid and even more shocking was the individual appeared to not be human as he had four arms that were covered in armor but upon closer inspection was an exoskeleton like beetle and dragon like tail.
He was over two meters tall exuding an explosive power gripping his spear tightly. Darkseid unfazed by the crackling power being unleashed and felt that he was a worthy opponent to fight.
Erix took deep breath channeling every ounce of his power releasing the true dragon Haki that shook the entire world from his aura alone even several dimensions was being affected as it was offsetting the balance of the cosmology that he was in.
He could feel his "Craving" was increasing and it wouldn't take long for him to reach a new level of power that transcends everything.
"Standeth before me, bareth witness for the seven days of armageddon. Dies Irae: Testament of the End." Erix spoke and instantly caused the entire universe to react where Darkseid noticed his avatar grew weaker than it was and briefly affected by the despair but he simply growled in annoyance.
"Petty tricks. You will fall like thousands before you. Come and meet your end."
Darkseid said while Erix instantly manipulated the space around them creating another dimension that sealed them from the outside world.

Erix added a Multi-Dimensions Barrier that made it indestructible even if someone like superman won't be able to dent it. The heroes watched in awe and in disbelief as they noticed that the space around them had been distorted.
"Meet my end?"
Erix vanishes from his spot and clashes against Darkseid as their collision sends a ripple across space and time where the entire universe was shaken even with the dimension sealed because of his skills. The hurricane of shockwave caused the heroes to shield their eyes as they tried to recover.
"I am The End!"
He coated his weapon with his energy and unleashed a series of high speed thrust with both of his arms while his other set of fists were punching Darkseid who countered back exchanging blows that shattered space itself. Erix charged his mouth with an intrinsic skill that was called True Dragon Magic.
[ Armageddon True Dragon Breath! ]
The massive blast that engulfed Darkseid destroyed the building, reducing them into complete nothing where even their souls were destroyed. The heroes looked horrified seeing the destruction of their helper but this didn't sit well with them.
"That guy destroyed a whole city block with a single attack!?" Green arrow exclaimed in disbelief while Batman frowned.
"Martian Manhunter, did you sense any citizen in that vicinity!?" Batman saw the new arrival as a potential threat, especially the devastation he brought.
"No, in fact I couldn't sense anything beside us and the parademon. It appears we are in a separate dimension." Martian Manhunter answered, causing some of the heroes to feel relieved.
"That's good to hear. We better get the injured patched up."
Black Canary said as they all took Shazam, Superman, and Wonder woman to safety while Barry Allen arrived at the scene.
"Woah, what did I miss??"
Barry playfully asked while Batman didn't let his eyes off Erix who dodge a laser beamed and flew in the sky before throating his spear towards the source of the attack revealing Darkseid simply had small burns from the attack that can erase anything.

Erix summoned a pillar of flames from the sky that contained his ability to erase and destroy everything, returning them to a state of nothingness.
Darkseid manipulated the space and opened a boom tube where Erix saw a portal appeared next to him immediately reach out and devoured the attack. Erix smirk then looked around him where Parademon were eviscerated the moment they tried to get closer.
The Parademon was still around them fighting the heroes and Erix decided to up the stake where he stepped back for a moment.
"I just noticed you have an army, I'm kind of jealous. Why don't I do the same?" Erix bared his fangs, hurling his spear towards Darkseid who pushed back sending him down into the underground.
[ Armageddon - Good ]
In that moment a demonic gate appeared behind Erix as its creak opened to reveal endless hordes of demons where they all kneel before Erix.
Their power was miniscule around when Lesser to Greater Daemon were summoned but would be enough to fight against the parademon.
"Is he actually able to summon demons?"
From afar was Raven fighting against Parademons killing them without any problem while nearby was Jean Grey turning every parademon into dust having greater control over her Cosmic flames.
"I can sense that Erix is excited and told me that he summoned the demon to assist us."
Jean commented on sharing a connection with Erix. He was currently in a confrontation against Darkseid that was currently incredibly angry seeing his army being defeated.
"For the Scarlet King!" The demon roared showing their devotion by slicing through all the Parademon while others ripped them apart.
They were torn to shreds by the Demon who wields weapons of mass destruction and others use magic spells to assist the heroes who are shocked to see demons helping them.
"I guess I've seen everything now." Beast Boy commented having been saved by the Demon while Firestorm arrived and assisted them. Nearby was Jean helping Supergirl who was surprised by her arrival.
"Thanks whoever you are." Supergirl said while Jean smiled, giving a nod.
"You're welcome and you can call me Phoenix for now." Jean Gray uses her telekinesis to gather a large number of Parademon before burning them into dust. Unlike most DC characters, Marvel has a more grounded and believable take on heroes as they don't have a problem with killing.
"Woah, that flames aren't normal." Firestorm said who saw the burst of flames ignited within the center of parademon. Supergirl appreciated the help as they all worked together against their enemies.
"Azaroth metrion Zinthos!" Raven arrived protecting Barbara Batgirl who was surrounded by Parademon. The demon girl summoned darkness and dragged them away before crushing them to paste.
"Woah, you're a lifesaver, thanks for that." Barbara said and Raven ignored her as she blasted beams from her hands that sliced the parademon like they were butter.
"Save the chatting for later. Focus on the enemy." Raven said and Barbara wasn't offended as she understood what she was saying.
"Alright."
Barbara threw explosive Batarang towards her enemies and caused their body to burst. She skillfully and defeated a large number of them with her combat experience. Meanwhile, back at the main show, Superman and the rest of the justice league could only watch.
"Should we help him?"
Shazam asked having recovered from his initial beatdown since he was too arrogant during the fight.
"You're kidding right? Those two monsters might be the end of us if we joined in." Hal Jordan said seeing the shockwave itself made them feel an overwhelming pressure.
"This is enough to buy us time to solve our problem. Cyborg, how's the progress?" Batman said seeing the best is to let the two duke it out until they find another way to defeat Darkseid.
"Something is interfering with my interface. The space around us is completely sealed." Cyborg answered as Batman frowned hearing his words.
Soon the New God of Tyranny flew into the sky where Erix was waiting as the two battled in the heavens where shockwaves reverberated around them.
Darkseid struck him in the face damaging him and forced him to cough off blood yet Erix felt more alive than ever before and swung his spear before thrusting towards Darkseid who got stabbed but his thick skin and durability stopped it from getting deeper.
Erix pulled him while he spat his blood, distancing themselves while Darkseid checked his skin that had been damaged and had not healed properly.
"To damage my flesh is admirable. A feat few can achieve." Darkseid unfazed by someone worthy of wounding him and instead wished to know about him.
"You'll be a fine addition to my army."
He said before channeling even more omega effect and flew towards Erix who did multiple slash towards Darkseid but this time it was overpowered by the energy shrouded in his body instantly dispelling it.
"A battle worth getting my blood pumping!" Erix started to remember the times those players that he had killed and how much they were screaming trying to run from him but they all died by his hands.
The feeling of complete and utter domination against your enemy fueled his "Craving" even further than before. He started to understand what he had lost and why he wished to grow further. To conquer the world.
Darkseid blows enough to knock him out and takes a large chunk of his HP where if comparing their battle in yggdrasil then it was no different than Level 1 fighting against a World Enemy boss.
Yet Erix never felt more alive and every time he bleed the stronger he was becoming until he reach 10% of his health became invincible.
The lore he had written was completely turned into reality as he was becoming stronger every passing moment. Erix spun his spear and unleashed an attack towards Darkseid.
[ Howling style: Endless Crimson Thorn Thrust! ]
Darkseid gritted his teeth in pain as he felt his body receive countless thrust that had power equal to millions of supernova's or could be comparable to the Big Bang as Erix wasn't holding back.
The lord of Apokolips held out his hands and swatted Erix away sending him flying several feet but stopped himself before delivering three slashes each on his weapon making it six.

Erix used his skill that cut through space itself and bypassed distance while applying [ Lord of Vengeance, Simikiel ] that was an absolute attack that Darkseid felt the damage even through his True Form. This shocked Darkseid and never expected for his true form to be damaged.
"Is this the first time you've been hurt?"
Erix mocked Darkseid who was fuming in anger as he coated his hands with energy as he blasted beams from it while the Scarlet King held out to consume the energy. Darkseid was unpleasantly surprised at the sight before him.

He grows even more stronger than before as Erix, having devoured and analyzed the power of Darkseid. This made him smile even more, channeling the energy into his spear and pointing at Darkseid.
"I want to see the utmost despair from you." Erix blasted Darkseid toward him who roared in pain receiving his own attack that affected even his true form. He was reaching the "Throne" ever so clone where he envisioned sitting on it while writing on canvas that was the narrative of everything.
"Who are you to dare spout nonsense before me!? Despair is Darkseid!" The new God jumped and slammed his fist tinto Erix who felt his head crack while cocked his fist and strike into Darkseid putting them in crossed counters as Erix thrust his spear into him but Darkseid managed to grab it and pulled him for a headbutt.
Erix staggered a bit while Darkseid was the same as the two receiving significant damage. The whole multiverse would have been at stake if it wasn't for Erix Barrier that completely sealed them away.
"Nonsense? I spoke the truth." Erix stands unbothered by the thought of dying even if he does he'll return stronger than before.
"I am The King of the Darkness Below."
Erix was now completely in sync with his game avatar that the lore he wrote was not a coincidence rather he was the reason for his reincarnation in that place. He became more and more of the True Scarlet King.
"I'll transcend and supersede all creation, even this narrative will be no different. Such is the fate of mine, The King who Rose from the Bleeding, The devourer of worlds, and Lord of the Throne of Despair." Erix's had been manipulating the outcome of the fight from the beginning where even Darkseid victory was nothing but an illusion.
"You have no control in this fight. This narrative was mine to begin with. You have lost the moment I arrive." Darkseid unsure yet he somewhat flinched for a brief moment looking at Erix eyes staring into him like he was a mere toy.
