Chapter 10: Chapter 10, Universal Fortune and Luck

While using my senses to observe the bullying, it didn't take me long to reach the place caught by my senses.

Apparently, it is near one of the gymnasiums halls at this University.

When I arrived, I didn't immediately come out, instead, I disappeared into the shadows of the building, and watched.

Of course, the reason, I stopped is not to watch the bullying, as there is no fun in that. The only reason for me to hide is so I can get a more accurate reading of the young man, that is going to be the owner of the first orb.

Analyzing all of his aspects from his bloodline to his very soul.

I noticed a few interesting things, that made me chuckle under my breath.

But the main thing that I looked for is something unrelated to talent or bloodline or anything tangible, what I am going to look for is the Universal Luck and Fortune of that person.

Activating one of the functions of my special eyes.

My eyes turned from their deep dark to deep red color which is even deeper than the one vampires have.

The world in front of me turned black and white immediately.

People would always ask why black and white.

Why not red and white? Or blue and black? Anything like this.

Well, the answer is pretty much simple.

Because Black and White are the two original colors, so when someone wants to look at the world beyond the veil in front of their eyes, they will always reach this stage when they filter all the colors in the world.

But of course, this is something that very few people can do, not anyone can remove all the colors in the world.

To only leave the original colors and the color of the things they want.

What I am searching for now is if this kid has a Gold color which represents Good Fortune and Luck.

You would ask why that would be important.

And what is the Universal Fortune and Luck?

It is one of the intangible concepts that govern the Universe.

What does it represent?

It represents whether someone will have a good life or not, by having more Fortune and Luck than others, would mean that person would have an easier life and may reach the top with the opportunities that the Universe will throw at the said person.

Like for example, when someone has a very high concentration of Luck and Fortune while walking on the street normally, a stone can fall on them from the sky, and when checking the stone, it turns out to be a diamond or something valuable.

That is a small example of someone with a high concentration of luck, the Universe will just throw opportunities on you while you are doing nothing.

But with all of these advantages, there are always disadvantages, to maintain a certain balance.

Balance?

Of course, the Universe will pursue a balance, although the Universe gave birth to someone like me whose very existence is to break the balance.

But that is something that was under the total control of the Universal Will, but oh well, we now knew how that ended as a disaster for the Universe as it lost its control over me, and it can no longer kick me outside of the Universe.

Back to the topic.

So, with all of these opportunities that get thrown at that son of the Universe, they would get a lot of trials that will test their metal, as to see whether they are qualified or not to receive such a treatment from the Universe.

Of course, Universal Fortune and Luck don't represent everything in an entity as not many people can see the golden globe over their heads.

As for how much Universal luck I am looking for in this guy?

I am looking for a Red globe, not a Golden one.

Huh?

Doesn't that mean that you are searching for someone with bad luck and someone who will have a bad ending?

Yes, exactly.

Then why?

The answer is pretty much simple.

To fuck the Universe over and cause Chaos with someone who should have died in some ditch out there.

So, imagine the Chaos that would occur when the person who has a very small amount of luck or even has a Red globe which represents misfortune, would start getting stronger and changing his destiny by his own hands.

Of course, I will help shield him when necessary but that is for later, and when the situation is out of his/her hands.

Now using my eyes to look at the Universal Fortune and Luck of those four standing in front of me.

"Woaah"

I let out a surprised yelp upon seeing their Luck and Fortune, but since I had placed a small barrier around myself, they didn't hear my exclamation.

When looking at the three kids that are beating the kid I came here for, I noticed that they have an ordinary amount of Luck and Fortune on them, the Silver-haired kid had a slightly higher amount than his two followers, but not enough to startle me.

No, what startled me and made me let out a sound of amazement is the amount of Universal Luck and Fortune on the kid on the ground.

It is not that he has an abundance of them.

No, he doesn't have any Gold Luck or Fortune, not even a lower version of Luck or Fortune like ordinary mortals.

But what he has, is a very large Red globe of Misfortune, and it seemed like someone sucked all of his Luck and Fortune dry, while giving him all of his/her Misfortune.

Looking at this, I was naturally startled, but at the same time excited as this is the perfect candite one can look for to receive my gift.

What is wrong with his bloodline and luck are intentional, they are done by someone.

There isn't anyone who would be born with Misfortune, anyone would be born with at least a minimum amount of Luck and Fortune, these are the rules of the Universe.

The only people who are born with Misfortune are those who have a lot of bad Karma, but that is a topic for later.

After finishing checking the Kid, I decided to interfere now and get to know him better before giving him the orb.

My eyes returned to normal black, and I came out of the shadows with a cough.

"Cough, Cough, why don't we be civilized gentlemen and stop this bullying here," I said with a gentle smile on my handsome face.

The four of them turned to me while giving me strange looks.

Although I was curious about their reason, I simply didn't bother to ask, I just looked at the guy in the lead, and scared his soul a little with my magic without him noticing anything.

Which immediately worked without a hitch.

"Sure, why not? I will be generous today," the Silver-haired guy just said and left hurriedly.

Seeing them leaving I just didn't bother to look at them again and stretched my hands to the kid that is still looking at me a little dazed.

"Hello?" I just said while waving my hand in front of his face
