Chapter 19: Rose Renovation II
Just want to give you all a heads up. Karl woke up after sleeping for an entire day, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he woke up at the middle of the night.

In this case, he woken up just before dawn and the rest is in the past chapters.

After Pressing the [Sewage System], the green outline appear once more. With this, I can now add the canals with ease of worries since the orange lines had disappeared.
And of course, I have to hurry.
I immediately stretch my hands across the road that currently is hollowed due to the outline. I place the canals just a few feet below the road and did the same thing with the other streets. After that, I connected each and one of them.
The canal is small, about half the size of a man. But they can simply enter if they crouch. It's a bit similar to the modern ones. The only difference is the materials is not as refined as it the latter.
And once I finished connecting all of them, perhaps around 2 to 3 hours to complete it all, dusk has come. The street lamps are now opened and the people are already buzzling with many types of people.
In this world, or rather, in Pearson territory, people had practiced since I was playing this game the night dinner. I call it as such and pronounced it as such since it sound cool but the meaning of such term is quite simple.
In my country back in my former life, dinner is already served before the sun had even set. That's because in the history of my country, majority of us don't have access to electricity. And candles in medieval times are quite the luxury as well so people got used to doing it before dusk.
But in this world, while I was still playing it, they have access to unlimited resources and this includes the wax that can be used to produce candles as furniture. Thus, the rest is history.
Since I am now quite tired from the work that I have done since this morning, I decided to head for the municipal hall and tell Greg that I'll be returning to the castle.
As soon as I said that, I didn't further delay things or wait for his reply and flew immediately with sonic speed. Within mere minutes, I arrive at the back of the castle.
This stone-made castle is looking more of an old home now that I see it. It seems I also have to change this, perhaps I could use the new feature this world added to my system. It's called [New Palace].
I have yet to see it's full blueprint, so as soon as I wake up tomorrow, I'm gonna renovate my home. According to it's description, it has a lot of similarities with the Palace of Versailles.
I can't really wait.

The next day.
My sleep was yet to be finished when the sun struck my face, irritating my skin and forcing me to wake up. When I open my eyes, I noticed that the large curtains of the large window that stands 5 feet are tied up.
When I look around, I have noticed that no maids are present inside my room. That feels weird to me since yesterday, I was awaken by the panicking maid who was just at the door inside my room.
But that's also reassuring. I'm glad no one was watching me sleep since it really feels uncomfortable by simply thinking about it. Maybe I can give them a word about that too so it won't happen again just to be sure.
Now, unlike yesterday, I was not woken up so I slept for an entire day. But this time, I guess I woke up pretty normal due. However, I do still feel a bit tired, I just hope that a nice breakfast can fix this.
Thus, I head for the dining room which upon arriving, I noticed it's unnecessary grandious design. As if it were truly made for the eyes of the royalty. Truly, how much did that bastard milk my people?
I really need to change my home since everytime I see a room, I always end up ranting about it. Even the bedroom I was given, if not for the fact that I was always too tired to notice about it, I would've scolded the servants for putting too much luxurious decorations all over the walls.
Now, to ease my already ruined day. After taking a seat as a lone person among the empty chairs, I was given a full course breakfast meal just like yesterday.
And because of its delicious taste, I left the room with a big smile and full stomach. With that, my energy is once more regained from the sleep and the breakfast.
It's now time to meet these visitors of mine and prepare for the banquet for the evening. Since they are the knights, I might as well give them the respect they can never refuse.
