Chapter 27: Jōnin-sensei
Because of their promotion to genin, Mikoto threw a celebratory feast inviting only a few people who are very close to the newly graduated genin. Hiroto had to use Flying Thunder-god jutsu to bring Naruto as the Uchiha clan moved back to their old place it is near to Konoha orphanage which the FTG user is thankful for as he didn't need to place markers in discreet places to hide Naruto.
Hiroto entered holding Naruto's hand to see Izumi scoring points with her future mother-in-law. Fugaku sat with Itachi and Sasuke in the living room, the youngest Uchiha ran towards his friend seeing the youngest Uzumaki, and dragged him around to show his toys.
Izumi was also let in about Naruto's relation to Hiroto but wasn't explained in the finer details regarding his lineage. A few minutes later Kakashi and Shisui arrived.
Everyone enjoyed the time and had their stomachs bulging by the time everyone is leaving, Kakashi took half-asleep Naruto to drop the latter at the orphanage.
Hiroto on his way back home heard his name being mentioned along with Itachi's because of their score in the graduation test. Hiroto hoped that atleast with his Uzumaki surname people might bother Naruto less. Alas, he didn't know a few lunatics are having thoughts of dealing with Naruto so that their genius Hiroto's won't be tarnished, God save them because if they acted on these ideas no one can save these people from the clutches of three monsters.
Next day morning
Hiroto was informed to get to the training ground 3 next day by morning 9 sharp to meet his Jōnin-sensei.
"Can you tell me who are on my team?" Hiroto inquired.
"Uchiha Itachi, Mitarashi Anko" he got in response.
Hiroto is happy to be on the same team as Itachi, at the house of the Uchiha patriarch Itachi is also the same.

Hokage's office the previous day
"Cat, inform Nara Shikaku to meet me" Hizuren said rubbing his temples.
Shikaku entered the room sometime later after receiving Hokage's summons.
Shikaku on the way his brain is thinking of all possible problems that might befall the village and making countermeasures along the way.
"What a drag" Shikaku said and entered the Hokage's office to see Sarutobi buried in paperwork which reminded him of his own paperwork which made him say "What a drag" again.
Hizuren started paying attention only after hearing his jonin commander's trademark saying.
"See this Shikaku" said Hizuren pushing the file in the direction of the Nara clan head.
Shikaku picked up the file and started to scrutinize the information in the file only after a few moments he exclaimed "You've got to be kidding me Hokage-sama!!".
"I'm afraid not, Shikaku " said Hizuren with a smile.
"If my guess is right, Fugaku's kid and that kid Hiroto don't have a good opinion of you. I am one of your trusted and because of the recent debacle, rejecting Kakashi's plea for help I might also have no positive opinion. So why push me to deal with these troublesome matters?" asked Shikaku.
"Shikaku you misunderstand Fugaku, he isn't that petty to sow discord in the kids' minds to make them hate all clans supporting me" Hizuren took a pause and continued "Both the kids have a very high potential, they've suffered grievances because my hands were tied at the time. I don't want them to develop hate toward the village because of my incompetence and make Konoha lose two promising Shinobi".
Shikaku thought over it for a few minutes and agreed as the last statement isn't completely illogical. "Why add the girl then?" the Nara clan head asked.
"She suffers because of my student, I want her to move on and there is a chance for that with this team" Hizuren said with a melancholic expression.
Shikaku nodded his head and was about to leave when he turned to ask "Hokage-sama aren't you afraid instead of making them love the village I would support them wholeheartedly?" Shikaku asked.
"If that really does happen then I might retire and support you while trying to keep the village safe till they deem my services unnecessary " replied Sandaime.
Shikaku after hearing this left without saying anything.

Training ground 3, morning 8:30
Hiroto took a light breakfast at Itachi's house and both of them made their toward training ground 3, they sat under a tree near the center of the field waiting patiently for their remaining teammate and their jonin sensei.
A few minutes later
Hiroto and Itachi looked at a girl a few years older than them making her way toward them. She has light brown, pupil-less eyes. Her hair - black with violet in the anime - is styled in a short, spiky, fanned-out ponytail
wearing a brown-red t-shirt with bracelets, white shorts, and chainmail leggings.
"Hi I'm Mitarashi Anko" she introduced herself.
"Uzumaki Hiroto "
"Uchiha Itachi "
The three of them didn't make any conversation because of their nervousness thinking about who might be their Sensei and how he/she is gonna be.
Time ticked by and soon a man with a rather stern appearance that implied experience noticeably has two scars on the right side of his face and a smaller scar on the left side of his forehead, near the temple. He had black hair which was tied into a spiky ponytail and a goatee, he wore a dark green flak jacket with a meshed shirt underneath, with a deerskin coat as well.
All the genin identified the man as Nara Shikaku and he is their jonin sensei.
