Chapter 8: Chapter 8 : first mission (3)
vega's pov.
After checking my status, i got back to the spaceship.
"I don't have much time to waste, i think the plot (original story) will start in year or so.
I hope that my birth didn't change the futur much."
when i return, i found elina playing in front of the ship.
"hey elina, let's go see this planet first."
"oh vega, finally you come back, i fealt lonely without you."
"sorry for that, i lost the feeling of time, actually i got really stronger now, so we can inspect the planet."
then i immediately flew more than 300 meters off the ground.
"hey can you see something." elina asked me.
Looking around, all i could see was a green virgin forest, and a lush jungle surrounded by steep mountains. As i watched from a height, my gaze fell on a protruding rock cliff.
So i tried to spread my ki to see my serouding.
And what surprised me, is that i can sense almost everything in my half of the planet.
I sensed a high flow of energy in north direction almost 500 battle power.
So started to follow the energy, hoping i can test my new found power.
"let's go there to see what happening."
i aimed to the north while looking to elina.
together we fly in the north direction, it didn't take us long to find the energy source.
It turned out that it was 4 meters red bear.
"Hhhhh i didn't think i wil find dinner so soon." I revealed a smile.
"Roar -"
The red bear also saw us in mid-air, and as if similarly seeing a prey rushed at us and uttered a loud roar.
He slashed his fings at me but it didn't work.
I didn't even badge from my place.
I smiled at him then i punch him in his belly.
My fist got through him.
i didn't even use my 1/10 of my power. it was a simple punch without technique or mastery.
the body of the bear hit the ground with a bang.
it didn't even get me a second to kill him.
if it was me a day ago.
this bear will give me hell of a fight.
after the sky gradually darkened, we dragged the body to a nearby cave that we found it in our way here.
"hiss..."
A few thin energy blades were brandished down and the red bear corpse was split into chunks of several pieces. i picked up the split bear meat to examine and singled out few pieces of best quality meat to make a barbecue.
after the meal, elina sprawled on the ground with satisfied look.
"wow vega you are amazing. how you get this strong quickly? i guess your power on par with my father now."
"i was lucky to find an opportunity." i didn't lie to her, i actually win it with lottery system.
"then you better teach me now and spar with me, i don't like you to left in the dust."
" hhhh, don't worry ."
right now don't have any attention to move, so i stayed in the cave to rest.
I have a lot of work to do tomorrow.
