Chapter 190: Chapter 190

Miguel's pov

I walked to the supermarket, my babies currently babbling in their stroller.

It's being almost a month since I came to this town. Although my mates haven't relented in sending things to me, I still haven't seen them since I left their house that fateful morning.

I guess am the cause of it all.

I guess am the reason they've not tried communicating with me.

I won't even talk to me if am the one those words I said to them where said to. I guess I won't be all too forgiving of them.

"Welcome Luna," One of the sales clerk bowed when she saw me.

"Morning," I smiled at her.

I think I've gotten used to their use of Luna when addressing me.

It seems my mates haven't announced our breakup to their pack.

"What can I get for you?" she smiled. Happy to please a Luna who isn't a Luna at all.

What's a Luna without his Alphas?

"I just need some kid's stuff. I think I will get it myself." I smile at her.

Honestly I've been feeling real bored at home, and I thought to at least exercise my muscles a bit.

Walking into the supermarket was something I did in the spur of the moment because this place have good memories.

"Can I hold your babies for you while you shop?" she looked down at my babies whose eyes where trained on her.

"I highly doubt they will allow you touch them."

For a day or two now, they've not allowed anyone touch them. Not even my mother who was more like a mother to them than I ever was.

"Babies love me," she touched Lijah's cheeks.

A baby that was babbling with his sister broke into tears. His sister following suit as if in support of her brother.

"Oh my. Am sorry," the lady looked at me, lost as to what to do.

"Don't worry. I guess they're in the stage where they want only their daddy to touch them."

I smiled at her. My babies haven stopped crying the moment she stood back to her her normal height.

"The girl's head isn't straight. I would have made her comfortable if not for the possibilities of her crying." The attendant pointed at Nabel whose head was in an unnatural angle.

"Thank you."

I let go of the stroller, making to turn them so they will be facing me, but my mates beat me to it.

"We will take them," Donald smiled at me. Hís brothers behind him.

"Good morning Alphas," the attendant bowed to them before she left.

Seeing my mates made my heart pound faster. My breathe catching in my throat.

How can people be this unnaturally beautiful?

"They won't allow you touch them." I answered.

Commending myself on my ability to talk without stammering to show how nervous I am to be in their presence.

I've always planned on what to say if am to be lucky to meet them, but never have I counted on my tongue cleaving to the roof of my mouth when all I wanted to tell them is how sorry I am.

"I highly doubt that." Donald took Lijah out of the stroller while Daniel carried Nabel.

"I will help you with the stroller." Damien took the stroller from my hands.

"Thank you." I smiled at him.

I was expecting to hear the sounds of my babies' cries the moment their fathers carried them, but what I wasn't expecting is the laughter coming from their mouths as their fathers made funny faces at them.

"They didn't cry?" I looked at my babies who looks to be having the time of their life.

"I guess they missed their fathers." Damien said, his gaze locked to mine in a strong unwavering stare.

*

We walked towards the pack. No words were exchanged between us after the words Damien spoke.

Each one of us lost in their own thoughts.

I for one was thinking on Damien's words.

"I guess they missed their fathers."

His words made me feel really guilty. Am the reason the babies were separated from their fathers.

If I had listened to their explanations, nothing of this sort would have happened. At least, not like this.

"Am sorry."

I looked down in embarrassment as I said those words.

I know being sorry can't erase the names I called them, but I can just try.

"Sorry for what?" Damien let go of the stroller in his hands, and with one of his hands, he slowly raised my face so I was directly gazing at him.

On his face was nothing but shock.

I was expecting anger, hatred or all the bad negative expressions, but what I wasn't quite expecting is his look of shock.

"Am sorry for not believing in your words. Sorry for the names I called you. And most importantly, am sorry for keeping your babies from you.

Sorry for trying to deprive you of the joys of fatherhood."

I can go on listing all the things am sorry for, but there aforementioned ones are the most Important ones. The ones am truly sorry about.

"We're the ones who should be sorry. You did nothing to warrant feeling sorry." Donald said as he and Daniel came to stand behind me after placing the babies back in their stroller.

"No. Am the one in the wrong."

I should have believed them. I shouldn't have doubted them, but I did. And that in its own way is a sin not Worthy of being forgiven.

"We bear no grudge against you Miguel. We're the ones who're guilty. Please forgive us?" Damien pleads. His hand slowly caressing my face.

I nod. Unable to say anything at his words.

How can I say I forgive him for a crime he didn't commit?

"Will you go back with us? to live with us in our home?" Donald asked. His face have an expectant look expression on it.

I will be damned if I say no to my long time dream.

"Yes. "
