The kingdom of Wushu was a land blessed by the gods as the people believed, you can find the most powerful army and people in Wushu. It was a land prospering and flourishing, countless battles won and many nations conquered, all surrounding lands and villages trembled in reverence before Wushu. It was ruled by a fierce but benevolent emperor, Ye Xinlong. The emperor was not of the kind that takes decisions rashly, he carefully comes to a conclusion and makes wise decisions. With his wisdom, the land continued to prosper and knew no bounds.
He didn't act on his own accord, he was assisted by his most trusted captain, Fan Xian and eunuch, Wu Wang. Eunuch Wang and captain Xian known as the "Wolf warrior" were always with the king and ensured his safety and wellbeing. However, only Captain Xian was faithful to the emperor. He was known for his might, combat skill and high intellect.
It was rumoured in the entire kingdom that he was the only survivor left with the "Wolf blood", their clan were known as the Wolf warriors, they possessed great strength and combat skills, history had it that from the beginning of time, these people were trained up by wolves, but the rumors happened to be true. The wolf warrior wasn't proud or hostile considering the unmatched strength he possessed. In all the lands, he was feared and known for his strength and bravery. Countless assassin's have been sent to kill him but they all failed.
For this reason, he was known as the strongest in the whole of Wushu kingdom. It was for his sake that the neighbouring kingdoms dare not declare war against the land of Wushu, for they feared him. But he had one greatest enemy in the land of Wushu, that was Eunuch Wang.
Eunuch Wang was the second most closest to the emperor after the empress, Ye Kong. He had the habit of making a play before the emperor to show his devotedness and loyalty, he feigned faithfulness, but deep down, he lusted after power and for this reason he made was against Captain Xian who was his only strongest opponent. For years he has been making schemes and strategizing how to wipe out the family of captain Xian, though he knew it would not be an easy task.
Captain Xian was aware of eunuch Wang's lust for power, but took it as nothing serious and tried to bridge the gap in their relationship, although eunuch Wang pretended to be in good terms with him. But day after day, he harbors and build his plan, waiting for the day to strike being aware that the wolf warrior was a very cautious person.
He stealthily cooked his evil plan, although the wolf warrior knew of this, he didn't act but still watched the drama.
