Chapter 133: Chapter 132

Both Paul and Bertha stepped back into the house together. Bertha had fallen sick a day after Bella left them, she was heartbroken and devastated by the sudden information Paul had passed out. Bella was like a little light in her life, she had so much energy and good spirits.

She had gotten so attached to the little girl she found that she had forgotten she wasn't her real child. No, wander when the truth was out, it was hard for Bertha to take it. She couldn't accept the little girl wasn't hers, she wasn't part of their family, she belongs to another family. Bertha had cried seeing Bella leave, she shouldn't have been told the truth, especially in that condition.

"Bella." Bertha called staring at her baby girl, "Mother." Bella hugged her and also her father. Why would she search for a family that abandoned her when her family is right here? They might not be related to her by blood, but they are her family, the people she grew up with. She was too shocked that night to listen to anything.

She couldn't believe the people she thought were her family were actually not and she was picked on the street. "I miss you," Bertha said placing her hands on her daughter's cheek to wipe the tears that fell from the corner of her eyes. "I'm sorry for leaving that way."

Antonio stared at the couple calmly as his grey eyes lingered over them, indeed they looked nothing like his wife, even a dumb person would know they're not related. He wondered what excuses they gave her when she asked about it. Now he thought about it, they almost killed his child and wife cause of the news they told her. Why would anyone want to tell her such in this condition?

"This is my husband Antonio Willan, and my babies Jojo and Jasmine." Bella introduced. Mr. and Mrs. Adam both stared at the man on the couch, his legs were crossed on each other and his eyes were on them. Paul knew his fake daughter had caught a big shot from how she appeared the last time she was here.

"Husband? But you're not married Bella." Bertha inclined. She just wanted to be sure she heard correctly, maybe he's proposed to her Bella and Bella is already addressing him as such.

"We're Married mummy, I'm sorry for not telling you all in time. Antonio and I are already married." She gloomily. It took Bertha ten seconds of silence to digest the information before smiling bitterly, "That's okay, I know how crazy love could be at times." She said. "Welcome once again to our family Mr. Willan."

"We have our baby shower next week when we get back, I'll send a ride to bring you all over to my city. After that is our official wedding I know you wouldn't want to miss that." Antonio said to see them nod. Bella couldn't tell if she wanted all of that, with everything going on now she just wanted to stay far away from the media. But she knew more than anyone that was not possible especially being married to the city's biggest businessman.

She would have to stay away from her phone and the television for a while, or forever.

.

They all had dinner together that evening, Antonio had to order something. After dinner, he had time to talk with Paul. "It was wrong telling her about her true identity that day. You don't know the huge damage your words almost caused." He said watching the farmers returning from their day delivery.

"I'm so sorry for that, I had no idea." Paul apologizes to the man before him. He couldn't believe he was talking to this man, this is the same man he sees on news outlets and television. Antonio Willan, a huge businessman. the man looked familiar when he saw him earlier but Paul was yet to figure out where he's met the man before. Now he knows, his daughter really caught a very big shot.

Jojo and Jasmine ran around the entire house, they seemed to have really bonded with their new cousins, especially the new baby. They thought they could both practice how to take care of their baby brother before he comes. They bragged a lot about how handsome their brother was and that he was waiting for the right time to meet them.

They would kiss their mother's stomach like their father does every morning and night before they sleep. Antonio had found himself a blessed little family and he would do everything to keep them safe.

"It's alright, she's fine now." He said. We'll be staying tonight." He added, "That's fine, you're welcome to stay whenever you feel like it, you're like a son to me." Paul said to the man beside him. He felt like a proud father, he's wished for this kind of company all his life, who knew the girl he referred to as a disgrace would bring such good fortune to him?

They talked a lot more about other things. Mostly his wedding plans with Bella. Soon both men stepped back into the house, one went to keep his sick wife company and the other went ahead to meet his expectant wife.

"This is my room," Bella said coily when he stepped in, she wouldn't believe it if anyone had told her that one day she'd give her husband a tour around her room. There was nothing much in there, just a little pink bed, her reading table and lamp, and some old panda toys she got from street hawkers just for decorations. Antonio's gaze moved around the room swiftly before settling on what seemed like an old book on her reading table. With one stare he could already guess what it was, it was her diary. He raised his brow, wondering what could be in there.

Finally, there was something that caught his attention, something that would keep him busy for the rest of the night. "It's unique." He said.

He found his way to the couch, "This place is much better, there's no need to go back home tonight. Let's stay for the night." Antonio said pulling his shirt and displaying his built-in chest.

Since it was a bit dark, he couldn't see how red his pregnant wife has gotten. "I... I'll go get an extra bedsheet for the girls." Bella stuttered biting her lower lips. She cursed inwardly for not always being able to hide her feelings when it comes to this man. "Alright hurry up with it," Antonio replied stepping into the bathroom.

Closing the door of the room, she relaxed her back on the door taking in deep silent breaths. She cleaned the droplets of sweat settling on her forehead with the back of her hands. Antonio would really be the death of her, she hated the fact that she was always out of breath around him. "I still cannot believe you're expecting your first child," Eden said pacing close to her sister.

Bella only smiled at her sister's words since she has nothing to add to it. "I've been meaning to ask, how did you meet such a man?" Eden asked.

"You know my friends, the ones I told you about?" She said to see Eden nod in agreement, "Well, Tina happened to know someone who had an emergency job to offer and I took the opportunity. I wasn't meant to meet Antonio that day..." She started drifting back into the past. Thinking about everything that happened that day, Bella chuckled.

It wasn't funny that day, she was scared to death, and Antonio being a man that has no self-control disturbed her. But he made her feel things she never thought existed. "I met him and we just clicked after our first conversation." She twisted her words deciding it wasn't yet the time to Inform her sister about everything that had happened.

Maybe she would tell her, but not now, it's better she leaves her terrible actions and decisions in the dark. Even if her family gets to see all of the allegations labeled against her, she would deny it all. They don't have to know the truth. She was ashamed of her past, ashamed of everything she's done.

"How many dates have you two gone on? Sorry if I'm crossing the line." Eden apologized. Both ladies know they're not as close as they used to be in the past cause of the many years apart. They used to be best of friends before Eden got married, but after her husband claimed Bella was a distraction in their marriage she had to stop visiting them.

"It's nothing, that's the same question I asked when you met Dave," Bella said. Now she thought of it, they've not really gone on more than two dates which is a red flag. To Eden, dates prove that the relationship would last longer than expected. "I cannot count it, we go on dates and vacations when Antonio is less busy." She said.

Eden asked a few other curious questions and after that, both ladies went their separate ways...
