Chapter 12: Chapter Twelve

Their trip to London was a long one and she slept most of the time. They had arrived Romford. Where the Emazon head quarter was. It was a beautiful city.
This was her first time in London even though she had a few Friends there. Ray was mostly on his tab, but she noticed him stare at her a few times with a heart warming smile.
We don't have an office in Romford, but hopefully we would visit Walford where you can see our London branch. Raymond said as he cupped her hand.
I would totally love to. She responded.
They got to CTY hotel. she didn't think she ever saw a building that looked this British. Brick wall, well tamed green grasses. It looked and felt beautiful there. On their arrival, they were immediately welcomed as their car stopped and were immediately led to their Lodge.
It was past 9pm, they were fully refreshed as they now headed to the private restaurant in the hotel to have dinner.
She loved the dish, well spiced and tasty. For some reasons Ray was totally dedicated to whatever he was doing on his tab as he paid very little attention to her. They had retired to their Lodge before going straight to sleep due to the stress of the long trip.
It was the next morning. Amanda was awakened by the ringing of the telecom. A little bewild that Ray wasn't beside her. It was definitely not up to 8am. She had sluggishly rolled out of the bed before sighting Ray.
Why was he fully dressed? What's happening? she asked as she saw him adjusting his tie.
She reached the phone attending to the hotel staff who wanted to take their order for breakfast.
Tea with bread. A typical London breakfast. Yes and very Nigerian too.
What would you want for breakfast? she had whispered to Ray but he signaled her, saying he was good.
Alright that will be all. She said to the lady on the phone before dropping the call.
Maybe I'm a little backward with my duties, but what's with the rush? She asked rubbing her eyes.
I decided to set up the meeting with Mr Albert, the CEO of Emazon by 9am, instead of 1pm. I would love to get over with this deal as soon as possible. She reached her phone as it was slightly past eight.
She had overslept, maybe it was the comfort of the room, but it was probably the fact that she had slept curdled up with Ray.

The driver will be waiting downstairs, he will bring you to the Emazon complex.
Eat, refresh and get ready. He spoke as he moved to her, giving her a kiss. She had hugged him as she made a baby crying face.
But I want you here. She said, tugging her self tight on him.
Once this deal is finalized, we would spend all the time we want together. He said as he moved a strand of hair away from her face.
Okay. She said as she let go off him. He kissed her one last time before he left her side and her sight.
Amanda wore a blue cooperate dress that hugged her body. It was slightly above the knee with a bit of flowery design on the hand.
Ray met the man, he seemed like they could do business. Blazzers was originally not a product that was marketed in Europe, even though they had a few outlets here. The Europeans mostly used European products but recently, European products had added an outrageous amount of Euros but still delivered the same value.
Two of his top staff had joined him from their office here in London. The business proposal wasn't bad and the man himself didn't seem like a difficult person.
Mr Albert was obviously in his middle age, black but light skinned and you could obviously tell he was mixed. A tall, eloquent looking young man. Brown eyes, good looking and equally handsome.
The deal would be to supply all electronic appliances produced and assembled by Blazzer to the company and it's was definitely a huge one.
Amanda had stepped in looking elegant. She wore a smile as she entered, but after her introduction she had suddenly folded, she seemed slightly uncomfortable.
Or maybe she wasn't. Maybe he noticed her so much due to the new tittle attached to their relationship."lovers" thou it was still concealed and hoped it remained so. The least thing he needed was a public knowledge of his affair with his personal assistant
He said she loved him during their last sexual encounter but he was a little reluctant about thinking about it. He didn't want it, he feared it would disturb both parties if they weren't careful.
The deal had been stretched enough for the day, so they had decided to schedule another meeting as both parties worked on the proposals as there were definitely claws that both parties would love to adjust.
It was an honor meeting you. Mr Albert said as he shook hands with Raymond. He proceeded to shake hands with others and Ray could almost swear he noticed an un usually and not so "just work" kind of hand shake when he got to Amanda.
Why was he holding unto her hands for that long? And why was he wearing a different kind of smile with her?
They had left and on their way to have lunch, but he had decided to not pay much attention to why Mr Albert had shook her in such manners.
They had lunch and he wondered why he suddenly felt the need to remind her that she was only for him to have and no other person.
He would not share her with anyone, not his Amanda!
Amanda sat across Ray as she was still a little shocked who she had met today. Mr Albert " CEO of Emazon" she knew Albert, but he never mentioned anything Emazon to her. They had know from a social media platform, but never met physically, not until today.
Albert was a cool headed young guy who she had slightly dated for couple of months. But he had suddenly ghosted her. She tried reaching out, but there was no means to get to him.
What would you have? Ray asked her.
Whatever you are having. She responded with a smile.
Even though she wanted to know why Albert had ditched her, why he had broken her heart. She decided to pay no attention to that.
She noticed Ray wasn't in such a joyful mood. What was it? She wondered.
Was he suspecting something? Not that she did anything or even planning to do anything.
They took about 45mins to finish up their dish, but Ray didn't say much.
They were back to their hotel room. Ray seemed mored relieved as they had several conversations.
She was out of the shower in her short grey nightie. She had picked up her phone to check her notification as she heard it beep. Ray was seated in one of the couch in the room. He was wearing a grey, short baggy shorts with a light blue T shirt. she noticed him stare at her in a manner she was very accustomed to.
What do you think about London so far? Ray asked as he grabbed her by her waist as she landed on his thighs.
I think it's cool and beautiful, reminds me more of home than Canada. Also a little warmer.
Oh, thats good. He responded.
How many times have you been here? She asked as she slightly turned, putting her hand over his neck. She wore a smile as she stared into his eyes.
Or maybe, how many beautiful women have you brought to London? She said as saw him smile.
You can take a guess. He responded.
Okay. she responded as she dropped her phone on his laps. she began to playful count her fingers.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.... Uhhh, I think infinity. I can't count. I don't think you can too.
They both smiled as she leaned in, kissing him.
I'm that uncouth huh? He asked as they kiss stopped.
Are you? She responded as she reached her phone. Now turning and totally backing him as she checked her notifications. She was honestly very shocked to find out that it was Albert.
He was texting her through Facebook? And why now?
She believed they were over and now the only thing that linked them was business and she hoped it remained like that.
"Hello, Amanda. I know you have a lot of questions. We need to talk"
She immediately put the phone on silence and dropped it.
Raymond was kissing and caressing her neck but he had suddenly paused. What was it she wondered?
She turned, once again now facing him.
He didn't look like he was triggered but his Expression was just hard to read most times.
I .. I uhh.....
She didn't actually find words to say.
Has she actually done anything wrong? she wondered.
Or would she have told him about Albert immediately she found out who Albert was?
What are you doing? He asked sternly.
She had immediately froze. Did he see her text? Did he notice who it was from? Oh she'd hate anything or anyone that would ruin this trip. This trip of which she planned to to be put in "7 positions for 70 minutes"
