Chapter 92: Chapter Ninety Two: she can take it
For those that might have forgotten a little due to the pause, here is a run down to refresh your memory. (The rundown is short, so you can skip to the new words if you want.)
Amanda had gone to see Mark (the engineer at Blazzers) because he was transferred to another branch, during her time together with Charles, she realized that Ray was not the reason behind Charles's transfer, in fact, Charles was transferred only because he applied for a transfer.
While Amanda was with Charles, Ray was at home restless consuming himself with alcohol because he knew exactly where Amanda had gone. Jealousy that the love of his life was in another man's home got him to decide to go hang out with Laura (the prime Minister's daughter)
Due to his drunken state, he had a little accident which he didn't sustain any reasonable injuries from, but after Amanda had seen the news about his accident, she raced back to him to make sure he was okay.
And once again, they were in each other's arms because they simply could not stand the temptations of each other's presence.

He felt this buzz of emotions but they continued to ravish each other. Their kiss had become intense and it felt like the two of them had decided and concluded to eat each other up.
Her hands now moved to his hair and dipped into it as their kiss went on.
For some reason, both of them have decided to pause. They did as Ray retreated from her boobs, his two hands now on her waist as their gaze locked. A fire burned between and inside them, the same fire they had tried to quench, but this time it was back even more wrecking.
They went on yet another round of soul merging. Their lips met again, but this time gentle and this was something Ray knew he had never felt, not even half of what he was feeling now has he ever felt. This was immaculate.
They gradually retreated from each other again, and their gaze once again didn't leave each other. For some reason, her eyes now had a little moisture on them, like she was tearing up. Ray felt her eyes burning into his, he felt her light brown eyes burning down all the walls he had built.
And at that moment, he felt vulnerable and it wasn't that bad.
Their gaze was still on each other but his hands now cupped her cheek as a little smile erupted from her lips.
"I love you"
"I love you, Amanda"
"I might have been confused before but now I'm sure, now I'm sure about what I feel for you and I don't want to continue to suffer because you are far away from me.
The tears in Amanda's eyes now rolled down her cheek as a little smile curled up her lip.
"It's okay," he said wiping her tears.
The entrance to the room immediately opened as the two now moved their attention to the entrance.
"Oh, my Ray, I was so worried," Laura said.

Laura had raced towards Ray, her face flushed, cheek pink, eyes dramatically sad and concerned.
'Typical white woman,' Amanda thought.
Laura managed to put herself between her and Ray without giving her any acknowledgment, she threw her hands over his face, cupped his cheek, and looked at both sides of his face. She figured she was looking to see if he had any serious injury.
"Oh thank goodness, you are okay," Laura said while her both hands cupped his cheek.
The sight made her sick, made her chest hot, it was anger and at the same time annoyance.
She saw Ray's discomfort, but his discomfort wasn't enough. Maybe Laura wasn't catching the vibe, maybe she was truly worried for him, and that was okay.
Amanda found it awkward at this point, the too much mumbling and fumbling that was going on. Laura had her hands all over his face, but the only way Raymond choose to handle that was to stare at her even while Laura threw herself at him.
Their eyes had locked severally, she saw the concern in his eyes, but why wasn't he doing anything about it? Laura must have noticed his constant gaze over her as her gaze followed him to her.
Laura now turned Ninety degrees, running her gaze through her before it returned to Ray.
"What is she doing here?" Laura asked, moving her gaze to Ray and then back to her, which simply just meant that she was demanding an answer.
"I live here," Amanda responded without giving that response a second thought.
Laura scoffed, moving her gaze back to Ray.
"Doesn't answer why she is in your room by this time."
On hearing that and yet not seeing retaliation from Ray, from the man who just said he loved her. The man who just recently claimed to want her.
'This is a joke!' she thought.
Her foot set off after Raymond didn't say anything in her favor, she stumbled towards the exit, but Raymond went after her.
And for the first time, Raymond had gone after her when she ran off.
"Hey, hey, hey," she heard him call out before she felt his hand on her shoulders.
He flipped her over, but she was not having any of that anymore.
"Why don't you leave me alone and focus on your fairy tale love story, she tossed his hands away from her and made it out of their view.
