Chapter 3: Prologue Part 3: Information Session? No, it's a Round of Explanations

It has been a few days since I was reincarnated.

First, I have to remind myself who Amachi is in Mega Shuva.

To put it simply, this character is a jack-of-all-trades but master of none.

Amachi is an unfortunate character.

Rather, he is a gag character with experimental elements from the game's developers.

In Mega Shiva, which is both a dating sim and an action RPG, combat ability is very important, as defeating numerous enemies and completing missions is necessary to progress the story.

There are over 1,000 playable characters in Mega Shiva, including both enemies and allies.

Each character has a rarity level based on the concept of stars, ranging from five stars to one star, with higher stars indicating a higher rarity and combat ability.

Main heroines, important story characters, and characters favored by the developers are all exceptions and tend to be stronger characters with higher star levels.

Amachi is a character with a mediocre three-star rating in Mega Shiva.

He doesn't have any cheat-like unique abilities or exclusive equipment.

Instead, he is a generalist with good proficiency in almost all magical attributes and most skills, with some conditions attached.

The key here is "some conditions", as he has proficiency in magic attributes and some skills, but cannot master everything.

To summarize Amachi's strengths and weaknesses:

[Strengths]

- Proficient in all magical attributes, but can only use close-range or support magic.

- Capable of acquiring almost all skills up to advanced level (cannot acquire master level or higher).

- Proficient in all close-range weapons.

- Capable of acquiring all "arts" (special techniques) in weapon and body arts that affect himself

[Weaknesses]

- Unable to use releasing or long-range magic.

- Proficient in summoning magic and necromancy, but unable to use them due to being long-range.

- Unable to learn crafting magic or skills (alchemy has proficiency, but is effectively unusable).

- No proficiency in long-range weapon types.

- Unable to learn advanced arts that affect the surrounding environment.

- No unique magic, unique skills, unique arts, or exclusive equipment.

Only the main character and Amachi have proficiency in all magic attributes, but the fact that Amachi cannot use release-type magic or advanced-level arts makes this character unproductive.

The high-power techniques that earn points in magic are mostly long-range ones. Of course, there are strong characters that specialize in close combat. However, they are able to use advanced arts and have unique abilities or specialized equipment, which Amachi lacks completely.

To make matters worse, Amachi only has proficiency in melee weapons, and cannot use long-range weapons.

All of this makes Amachi a mediocre character with a rarity of three stars. Even at maximum level, Amachi's performance is not particularly impressive, and in the story, he is just a weak character who is defeated by the main character in the early stages and tutorial.

On the other hand, the main character has cheat-like unique abilities and specialized equipment. They have proficiency in all magic attributes, all class skills, and all weapon types, and can master them to the extreme. Except for unique arts, the main character can acquire all arts.

The main character is the official cheat character, with the ability to handle everything. The only disadvantage is that at the start of the game, the player can only choose one attribute or weapon type.

As the main character levels up, they can master up to three magic attributes and three weapon types at most. However, they cannot learn more than three types of magic or weapons. This is a consideration of game system management, as having a character that can handle everything would make the game too easy to complete with just the main character.

Of course, the main character's unique abilities and specialized equipment can be used in any route, regardless of the disadvantage. Therefore, the main character is the center of this world, an existence that has been endowed with the blessings of the operator (god).

One could say that if the main character is a super genius, then Amachi is a commoner. In terms of basic performance, there is an invisible wall that Amachi and the main character cannot compete with, and unfortunately, Amachi cannot win against the official cheat character or the main character.

If I may add, in terms of raw performance, there is not a single element in which Amachi can surpass the protagonist, let alone the heroines.

Amachi's character is constantly being verbally abused by the heroines and beaten up by the protagonist's party.

Although Amachi has some traits similar to the protagonist, he is a far inferior lapdog.

Amachi Suguru is a completely inferior version of the protagonist, a character who is a downgrade.

On the Megashuvasure internet forum, people would jeer at him, saying things like, "Are you Amachi?" or "Isn't this guy Amachi?".

This has become a sort of meme or inside joke.

Oh, I almost forgot.

There is one thing that could be considered a positive trait of Amachi.

I just remembered.

It's a setting that was created by the game's developers as a sort of ironic joke.

The "handsome guys must die" setting, a crappy setting designed to mock Amachi.

If there is one area in which Amachi surpasses the protagonist, Sakurai Kazane, it is in looks.

He has a good-looking face, and in terms of appearance only, he received high marks from the heroines.

However, even on internet forums, he only received praise from those who are into handsome guys, and no one else.

And, of course, all the heroines, without exception, are in love with the protagonist, Kazane.

That's why I seem to have been reincarnated as Amachi Suguru.

As this utterly useless character.
