Chapter 45: Officially "Mommy!" >_<
Ignis looked completely defeated after the intense rap battle for the baby's affection. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappointment as the little one still refused to call him "dad." Instead, the baby let out an adorable yawn and drifted off to sleep.
Ignis let out a sigh, feeling both tired and relieved that the battle was over. He looked down at the slumbering infant, a small smile forming on his lips.
Despite the defeat, he couldn't deny the warmth he felt in his heart at the sight of the peaceful little one, and he knew he would keep trying to win her over in the days to come.
He gazed down at the peaceful infant nestled in his embrace and exhaled a weary sigh of surrender. "Looks like this will be a tough journey for me… hah," he murmured to himself.
A small shudder passed through him as he considered the daunting prospect of nurturing and guiding a young life.

He then looked at the cold and frozen landscape, not letting his eyes wander off to different places as he found Deino and Bell and strode towards them.
His two summons frozen in combat stance, he brandished his whip and shattered their icy binds.
The two dinosaurs slumped to the ground, but their victory over the cold seemed to have left them unfazed. As they stood up to greet Ignis, their expressions turned to horror upon seeing the baby in his arms. Trembling, they slumped to the ground once again, seemingly overwhelmed by the presence of the little one.
Deino's voice trembled as he asked, "M-master, who is she?" He looked up at Ignis with fear and confusion in his eyes, as if he had never seen anything like the baby before. Bell, too, seemed overwhelmed by the presence of the tiny creature and kept his head down in a show of respect.
Not answering them directly, he looked at the knights covered with ice and could also see the grey mist surrounding their eyes.
"We'll talk about the baby later, but first I want both of you to collect back all the loot and get ready to leave before different players start to show up here, and don't kill these knights; they are not our concern."
After saying that, Ignis started to walk towards the exit. Deino and Bell, seeing Ignis go and the unknown pressure lifted from them, stood up and started collecting the loot.
"I should check the system panel of the baby."

As he checked the interface of the baby, he somewhat felt that he was being called "mommy" again.
"Okay! Why does this relevant and irrelevant information section seem suspicious? "No, this is suspicious!" Ignis mumbled to himself while narrowing his eyes and furrowing his brows.

"I feel like I would first see the irrelevant information," he said, tapping on the irrelevant information section, and then a new interface popped up with information.

"So this is irrelevant information." With an exhausted voice, he mumbled and looked towards the baby in his arm, who somewhat seemed to him to have a smirky-poo on her face, and he could definitely hear some words, 'Yes, mommy, it's irrelevant.'

"Seeshh! "She's a dragon."
After seeing that the baby was a dragon, Ignis was somewhat surprised, because even though everything on earth became a game-like world and everything looked out of fantasy, one of the best marks of fantasies was the mythical creatures that were just like fairy tales.
In all of Ignis's past life, Earth had never experienced the sight of a dragon, phoenix, or any other mythical creature. This was the first time Ignis had ever seen a dragon, let alone a baby dragon.
There were many different creatures that Earth had and many different creatures that were born from the fusions of planets, but no dragon, phoenix or any other mythical creature. After some time, all earthlings started believing that mythical creatures were just folk tales even in this fantasy reality of theirs, and even Ignis believed that.
There was one big question still lingering in his mind: 'What relationship should he consider with the baby?' Should he treat her as a mere pet, or was there something more to their connection? The thought of considering her just a pet left him with an indescribable feeling of emptiness, but when he saw the interface of the little one, his mind was instantly made up.
"Looks like I have to be a good mommy, hah!" He spoke in a daze, not understanding when he became a mommy.
He looked at the talent of the baby dragon and was immediately fascinated by it, as on earth in science was the lowest temperature that could even freeze on the molecular level.

Ignis gazed upon the baby dragon's remarkable talent and was utterly astounded. Despite being at an un-upgraded level and with unknown potential, the talent already seemed overpowered to him.
But this led to another question in his mind, and this seemed very serious to him: "If she's this powerful from the start, would she need me to protect her ???"
"And if she fought from this young age, she would turn out to be a brute who only knows how to fight and doesn't need her dad's help."
"And if she thinks she could win fights on her own, doesn't need me, and thinks of me as weak,..."

There were all sorts of insecurities building in Ignis head and he was making all sorts of different plans in his head.
After some time of consoling himself, Ignis looked towards the attributes section, where everything was just...

He then looked at the elemental affinity.
"Her elemental affinity is opposite to mine." He spoke while looking at the elemental affinity that suited the baby dragon the most, as her talent was also related to ice. He knew from past experience that mastering skills related to one's elemental affinity could greatly increase their damage output, and one should always focus on skills related to the element with which they have an affinity.
A person possessing fire affinity cannot unleash the full potential of a skill or technique related to water, wind, earth, etc. elements, as the lack of compatibility between their affinity and the element they are trying to control reduces the damage caused. Affinity is a fundamental aspect of different classes, and it indicates a person's innate inclination towards a particular element.
Next, he pressed his finger onto the [Absolute Conversion] technique, but the screen remained blank. He tried again with a firmer tap, but to no avail, and the interface showed no response.
"All right now, it's time for the relevant information."
He then opened the relevant information section, which immediately made him realize the magnitude of the journey he was about to embark upon.
