Chapter 2: Chapter 1: It doesn't work like that

On a snow-covered mountain.

"May you never lose your path," said a three-eyed deity while bidding good luck to his Apostle.

"Well now Satvik is gone, we have another person to deal with, My Liege" muttered the wife of the three-eyed deity.

"I remember it very well, Gauri," muttered the three-eyed deity with a sigh.

"You're here to enjoy the show aren't you, Tharun?" questioned the three-eyed deity while looking towards another Deity, who also like the three-eyed deity belonged to the Trinity of his respected pantheon.

"Well you know me very well, Pinaki" muttered Tharun and continued.

"Hehehe, it's interesting to see God of Destruction sending two people to another world on the same day," he said with excitement.

Pinaki, the famed God of death and destruction snapped his fingers again.

Another young man appeared before him.

He was 185 centimeters tall and had short black hair and eyes.

His skin was sun-kissed and similar to that of several South Asians.

When the young man's gaze landed on the people surrounding him, he immediately fell to his knees and joined his palms together while slightly bowing his head.

"You look quite composed, child" muttered Pinaki.

"I've wished and prayed for this day all my life, Prabhu," replied the young man.

(A/N: 'Prabhu' means master or the Prince in Sanskrit and many Indian languages; it is a name sometimes applied to God.)

"Well no kidding, never missed a chance to pray for this, for 10 years that is. You're persistent" muttered Tharun.

The young man didn't lift his gaze and remained in the same position.

"Why do you want to go to another world? Don't you like the world you live in, it's quite peaceful and easygoing compared to others" said Pinaki.

"I've no attachment to this world, Prabhu," replied the young man instantly.

"Oh! The desire to get isekaied is strong with this one," muttered a new voice.

When the Gods looked at the newcomer, they sighed.

"Not again!!" they muttered in unison.

"Who might be this person, Prabhu?" questioned the young man while looking at the newcomer.

He was quite thin looking and looked like he hadn't eaten for days and had bangs that were covering his forehead and was wearing specs. His most striking feature was the glowing lenses of his specs.

"He's...new here. Think of him as an intern!" exclaimed Pinaki.

"I can't believe I have to repeat myself for the second time," said the God of Destruction and then with a sigh continued.

"He's a new entity that came into existence recently and claimed himself to be the 'god of GENTLMEN' or something. We have been trying to find the reason why he came into existence and came to the conclusion that it's due to a weeb community or something. Well at least according to his claim."

The young man's eyes shined, maybe he has been praying to the wrong God.

Then the young man looked at the new entity and bowed his head.

"Prabhu! let me take care of this one" requested the new God.

Tharun and Pinaki looked at each other and nodded.

"Fine, you take care of this one. You know which world he needs to be sent to, right?" questioned Pinaki.

The weeb God nodded his head.

"Then you take care of him, but remember we can't meddle too much!" he warned and then left.

The other Gods also left, leaving the duo alone.

------------------------------

In what looked like to be a brightly lit office, a young man was facing a God who was leisurely sitting in his chair.

"So, you are an orphan and have no relatives?" asked God.

The young man nodded.

"Well that's a God start for an isekai protagonist l, at least no one will be missing your disappearance," said the God.

"So Virin, the World I'll be sending you is quite messed up.

"There's discrimination, war, genocide, and even the presence of the Devil. You sure you want to struggle there?" asked God.

"I've been waiting for this chance. I'm ready to take the leap of faith," he said with excitement.

"Well come down, the other worlds are not all rainbows like it seems. There are tons of basic problems you can't even imagine," said God while sipping his tea which appeared out of nowhere.

"Is it going to be medieval-era settings?" asked Virin.

"Hmm" nodded the God.

"Then I can understand what you are pointing at, Prabhu."

"Lack of basic health, sanitary and daily needs. But I can manage," said the young man.

"Wow, you're that desperate haan?" muttered the God.

The young man nodded with a smile.

"Haha! fine. But let me tell you, I'm not that strong to grant you cheat skills"

"The most I can give is 2-3 skills and you've to work hard after that," said the God.

"That'll do, Prabhu" replied Virin with a smile.

The God nodded and said, "Then what kind of skills do you want?"

"You can grant any skill?" Virin questioned with surprise.

"Hold on, there's a limit to which I can agree. At least after knowing what you desire, we can decide and discuss further," said the God.

"Hmmm, First and foremost an analytical skill would be great," said Virin after thinking.

"Hmmm, we can do with an analysis skill, but it would be quite a basic one. Don't expect something legendary, okay?" said the God.

The young man nodded and then said, "A sword mastery or something similar would be great as well."

"Two-handed or single-handed?" questioned the God.

"Well I prefer something similar to the Paladin build, so I guess single-handed will be better," replied Virin.

"Well, we can do basic mastery, you can advance further with your hard work," said God.

"Well lastly I need something that increases my luck," said Virin.

"Are you kidding me?" God was baffled.

"You can ask for all-element affinity, summoning magic, and whatnot"

"But you want luck?" the God questioned with wide eyes.

"Well luck is the most important factor to decide your fate, so I would take my chances with that. According to me, Luck is the most OP attribute" Virin summed up.

"Hahahaha, Omoshiroi! It will be done, Child!" muttered the God while laughing.

Virin gave a wary smile, 'Why is acting like that?'

"And as a bonus, I'll throw in something special in your Skill batch," said the God.

"About my death?" questioned the young man.

"What about it? Oh, truck-Kun?" questioned the God.

"Yes, I want a golden-skinned one, hehe," replied Virin.

*Sigh~*

"Sorry, but you've already died due to excessive fapp***," declared the God after sighing.

"Eh! what?" shouted Virin.

"What did you expect?"

"You should have taken a breather, some things should be done within limits," muttered the God.

"But I was building my stamina, to please women in another world," said Virin while looking crestfallen.

"Are you serious?" questioned the God in astonishment.

Virin just nodded innocently.

"Well, it doesn't work like that," said the God with a deadpan expression.

Then he clapped his hands together and with a smile stood up from his chair.

"Well I hope you're ready for your adventure!" the God exclaimed and was about to snap his finger.

"Wait!" yelled Virin.

"What happened?" asked the God.

"I never got your name," Virin said.

"My name is Neet-esh!" the God mumbled with a smile and snapped his finger.

And instantly Virin vanished from the room.

"Let's see what other skills to throw in the mixture, this one is good, and this one as we ll"

"Hehehe, this one will be fun," the God muttered while fidgeting with a hologram screen.
