Chapter 2: {2}~A Welcoming Gift~
{Enzo's POV}
As I woke up I didn't expect to wake up to the alarming sound of my phone ringing. I push myself up and search for my ringing phone with my eyes still half closed. Once I found it I bring it to my face and see the caller ID. My 'Father' is calling me but instead of picking it up I end it and I block both my parents numbers which were the only ones in my phone besides my two bosses numbers. Salina who owned the low cafe I worked at and Rick the book store owner. I blocked both their numbers as they were both ducks to be because I was an omega. Salina was a slut everyone knew that but didn't care. She has fucked with both Alpha's and has gotten a lot of money from them so she acts like she's the boss but she's not. And Rick was Alpha Chris's beta but was also an ass as he had touched inappropriately multiple times to the point I wanted to kill him and quit my job but I couldn't cuz my parents would kill me. But now I no longer have to worry about that. As I sat on my bed my stomach growled in protest of me staying in. I knew that I couldn't stay in even if I wanted to. I had to prepare for doomsday and I had no time to spare. I got up and took a quick shower. I had to go downstairs to the public dining hall because I had no food for Bane or Rust and there wasn't anything for me. So when we got there there were also lots of people and kids which were scared of Bane and Rust but they knew how to act around kids so they didn't go near them. They both got a giant cooked stead and I got some pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, and sausage with some honey tea that helped soothe me. After we ate some kids wanted to pet Bane and Rust so I let them both of them were happy to get attention from kids because they liked them. I could only imagine how they will act when a future surprise enters the family. After that we left back to the room. I sat down on the bed on my laptop while Bane and Rust played together.
I searched for houses on the country side close to New York. I wanted somewhere safe for my baby to grow up and for me, Bane and Rust to just not worry about so many zombies begin around us. I didn't want anyone to die therefore I had to figure out what to do starting now. After hours of searching I found nothing. I found no houses that I wanted to live in and there were none in the country side. But I did find many Loft's for rent but I chose not to go for those. I decided to call it a day and sleep since it was already 9:56 pm and I was tired. So I got in bed and dozed off to nothingness.

It was the next morning when I awoke with a killer headache. I got up and trudged into the kitchen holding my head. I searched for a bit until I found some pain killers that I stashed in the kitchen after getting out the shower and delt with my ass pain. I checked the date and it showed they were almost expired and there was only one left so I took it and drank some water. When I was about to go and take a shower a voice sounded in my head.

"Wait your my what?" I asked not hesitating to ask. "Why are you in my head?".
[Well of course I am in your head as I am your system and your system alone.]
[I have been installed as you were asleep there is nothing to be alarmed about. I mean no harm as I can't harm you in any way shape or form. As that is not in my code made by god. Therefore you have nothing to fear but your survival in the apocalypse.]
I just stood there dumbfounded to what this system said. "Wait so I've been given a system? Not one but three? Why was I given this?". I asked in a somewhat mad tone. If I've had this back in my last lift then I probably could have survived longer and even kept my baby alive.
[Well host you have three systems One is a farming system the second one is a expansion system and the third one is a baby system.]
[As the reason the host was given this was because in host last life host chose to stay far from people in seclusion therefore you did not receive the news on how to open the instellier game. If you had you would had been able to survive longer and would have gained yourself a system.]
[I will explain what the instellier game is. Instellier is also referred to as your virtual body and not your real one. You can go inside a virtual world and gain things to help you survive. But the only way to gain things from that world is to earn V Coins also known as ¥€. With the ¥€ you can buy things from shop. The world as we know it is slowly changing into something more futuristic and magical. Therefore when you break into a certain level you can gain access to things not of this world. Before you died everyone in the world who was not a zombie was able to gain access to the virtual world and buy things. Therefore you are not the only one with the instellier game but you are the only one with three systems and systems alone. That is all I can tell you for now you'll have to find out the rest on your own. I will sent the information about all three systems and how they work and how to open them. I just stood against the counter trying to take everything in slowly only to get another splitting headache. Millions of information was pushed into my brain ima and made it so I wouldn't forget. "Haha". I laughed at myself feeling so happy about how my life is turning out. It turns out that god had just pitied me and decided to give me something that could benefit me more then others alone. As calming down for a bit I went to take a shower then put on something comfortable. I made a quick stop down to the public dining hall and picked up four big pieces of cooked steak and me my breakfast lunch and dinner because after today I was not staying here. I went back upstairs and put one steak on two plates for Bane and Rust and they ate while I ate my breakfast. I sat on my bed and opened my laptop. I wanted to rent out that beautiful Loft in Queens New York. I was a loft for 6 people but it would only be me but I wanted it anyways and you never know what might happen. And my gut was telling me to get this place so I did. I searched for the loft it took a few minutes but I found it once I did I chose to buy this loft area so I emailed the landlord of it and we talked over call. After what felt like hours even though it was just two we settled the payment which was $14,000, and I now officially owned the loft in Queens New York and I could do whatever I want with it. I told the landlord that I would be moving in tomorrow so we could meet at the location of the loft apartment. After that I took a long nap and when I woke up it was 2:00 am and I heard someone to knocking on my door. I already knew who it was though so I just stuffed all my stuff back in my bag and grabbed both Bane's and Rust's leashes putting it on them, I grabbed my keys and my jacket and opened the door to see Merida.
"Hey sorry to bother you but your two day stay is now over so you have to leave now. Bosses orders he makes me do this every time so please don't be offended". She said. Merida was a very sweet girl and I liked her. Yesterday we talked a bit and I got to know her. I learned that she has a twin who lives in Queens New York at the moment but will be coming next week to visit her. "Yeah I know and it's ok thank you for waking me up though or I would have slept in longer and kept you waiting". I said in a joking manor. I then walked out of the room locking the door and handing her the keys. She kindly helped me with my bags as I walked down with Bane and Rust in front of me. We made it to the car and I put them in the back then I put the bags in the trunk. Once done I turned to Merida and decided to tell about what's to come. "Merida in one week Friday March 1st something big will happen. If you ever need anything plz don't hesitate to call me and we can meet ok?". I said handing her a paper that has my number on it. She looked at my puzzled for a second before considering my words and nodding then taking the paper from my hands. We hugged and said our good byes then I got in the car and drove off.
It's going to be a long drive.
