Synopsis

Aleratha is a teenage elf living in the deep oceans along her aquatic tribe known as the Milailt. Ever since birth, they regarded her as a talentless fool until her fourteenth birthday, when she awakened her pyromantic abilities.

In terror, the tribe elders exiled her, afraid she’d taint their oceanic reputation, but as she left the sea in the depths of despair, her powers manifested in the physical realm as the Empyrean spirit—a long-forgotten primordial legend.

Shameless author review here! I honestly don't know what to write here, so I'll go over some random stuff: What is the general plot? - It's about a girl called Aleratha who is exiled from her home. Now she explores the world in turmoil and lingering shame in the hope of finding a new purpose. Character development? - The story focuses very heavily on character development, not only of the main character but also of the side characters. I try my very best to make each character as interesting yet realistic as possible. Action? - There is a lot of action, but the story's main focus is Aleratha and her growth. How does the power system work? - There are these "Gods" which are referred to as spirits. They can lend people their power. For example, the water spirit would lend water-related abilities. There will also be some particularly unique and exotic abilities if that's your thing ;) Romance? - Yes, there will be light romance, but not until the second main story arc. OP mc? - I guess so...? There is still room for our dear Aleratha to grow stronger, though. Chapter releases? - Ermm, I dunno, lol. I would say about three releases a week since writing is still just a hobby, but we'll see... Fun fact: This was actually a story I thought of four years ago but never managed to write anything, lol. Anyway, thanks for reading?

Well written, engaging, and addictive. Amongst the plethora of words I could use to describe what I've read, these are of most importance. The author is only 5 chapters in, yet manages to paint a picture of the world and explain our main character beautifully. Instead of using a direct way of explaining it, the information flows through the course of the novel as a dialogue that further enriches the plot. The writing quality is beautiful, no mistakes, no awkward dialogue, nothing you might find in an amateur novel. The plot itself, well I wont spoil much, but it is a fantasy genre that would appeal to most-if not all. I would reccommend this story to anyone who ia having a hard time finding a fantasy novel of quality.

I came for the yuri, but I stayed for the story. I really enjoyed the character design and the unique world. It is definitely different than the traditional fantasy which made the world much more exciting. Sad Reinhardt had to die. It was a very enjoyable read and honestly I wish for a new chapter.

The writing style really captures you, it gives an almost mystical feel that works well with the plot. The plot itself is interesting and immediately has you intrigued and the character interactions are well done. The world is described in a detailed way which makes seem tangible. The author is doing an incredible job and I would highly recommend this work. Will follow and read this one for sure.

The writing in this book is impeccable, with a level of precision and detail that is truly impressive. The author's use of language is masterful, and each sentence is carefully crafted. However, at times, the attention paid to even the smallest detail can become overwhelming. While the level of detail certainly adds depth and richness to the story, there are moments when it feels a bit too much. Overall though, it is a great novel and have high hopes for it.

Good story, nice wordings and a stable plot. The start is very smooth but the general information just seemed rushed. That's the only problem I believe, if the author manages to provide a far more detailed situation during an ark then this story is flawless. Hope you change that author. :)
