Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Zero Two
"Everyone, evacuate the battlefield immediately!l Also give up the knightmares when necessary.
Repeat, evacuate immediately! "

Lelouch said in a tone of inadequacy and conspiracy:
"Human life is the most important strategic resource.

After turning off the communicator, Lelouch let go of CC's mouth and rubbed the space between his brows.
He thought of a way to escape. But before he could think anything his choice was made for him.

"Z-01, Lancelot, Launching. Please clear the area!" Cecily Croomey's voice echoed over the speakers.
As Cecily's voice blared out over the speakers, Suzaku Kururugi was getting suited up in a 'Devicer's Uniform' as Lloyd called it. The uniform was white, black and gold, padded in order to better protect against the Lancelot's rapid movement and the jarring that commonly accompanied it.
He had read the manual (most of it anyway) for the Lancelot and was more than slightly impressed. The Lancelot outclassed Sixth Generation Gloucesters, by about as much as a Sutherland outclassed a regular battle tank-totally.
"Have you read the manual?" Cecile Croomey's voice came over the headset he wore over his right ear.
"Pretty much." Suzaku replied. All he had skipped was the part he was certain the Earl had added, entitled, "Devicer Conduct and Proper Veneration Etiquette of the Lancelot". He was pretty sure that was superfluous to requirements, so had ignored it.
Suzaku made his way out of the changing room and stood in front of the Lancelot. It was magnificent. Lancelot's white and gold paintwork made it shine like a beacon, even in the Ghetto.
'With this, I can end this slaughter. I can do it!' Suzaku thought of Ms. Croomey talked in his ear about being careful in the field.
Then he heard a female voice from behind,
"Hey glasses, is this my new partner? I don't like him. He clearly looks like an idiot."
The girl had a slender and athletic figure; She had waist-length, long pink hair with straight bangs covering her forehead and a pair of red horns on her head and a white limiter headband over her horns. She had sharp, turquoise eyes with rings around the pupils and pinkish-red markings on the canthi.
"It's really hard to please you. This guy defeated the Knight of One, Lord Bismarck Waldstein. He's the best pilot available here."
"Whatever I'll not partner with him, I'll do it alone."
''Well i tried my best." Lloyd Asplund said with a bitter smile.
"Who is she? S.she doesn't seem to be human."
"She is a member of the APE Special Forces, primarily fighting on the front lines. As an elite Parasite with the codename "002", she will pilot the Franx alongside you. Originally we wanted you to partner with her but refused. But don't feel bad about it ,she also known as the "Partner Killer", so consider yourself lucky Suzaku katsuragi." Cecily explained .
"What is Franxx?"
"I am glad you asked ." Lloyd Asplund immediately came to explain.
FRANXX units are bio-mechanical weapons built by Dr. Franxx and under the supervision of APE. They were built from klaxosaur skeletal remains that were excavated from Earth's surface through a drilling process called S-Planning. They were specifically designed as defence arsenals and are required for fertile male and female pilots to operate.
The Blaze Luminous Shielding System was the main defensive array on the Franxx arms and could be activated to shield the Lancelot from bullets, grenades, Chaos Mines, even close combat weapons like Stun Tonfas and Lances.
The Franxx also featured an improved version of the standard Yggdrasil Drive, the Core Luminous, as well as a hefty amount of Sakuradite seeded throughout its frame, increasing its overall strength, agility and power.
"Ok it's time to start!" Cecily Interrupted him .
After that Suzaku finally got into Lancelot and activated it.
The Lancelot exploded forward in a flurry of motion, Landspinners whirling, speeding towards the sounds of conflict.

On the other hand, the rebel side.
"Everyone, do you want to do what the mysterious man said?"
A tall young man wearing glasses asked.
Kallen said: "Listen to what he says, he probably won't harm us."
The man with glasses hesitated for a moment: "Do you want to give up even knightmare? To be honest, I don't agree..."

" It's an order from Clovis vi Britannia! Do as i say or I'll cut off your power supply."
"Okay,fine. Don't do that, i still want to play a bit more."
But the moment she turned a bunch of explosion hit her Franxx. (An ambush!)
She turned to see a knightmare shooting from behind a building.
"Hmf nice try. " She rushed to crush it. But the moment she came close he realised it's a mistake.
[Self distract activated]
[[[Boom]]]]
Before she could do anything a loud explosion took place, shaking the entire area.

"Thank God it worked. That was pretty easy."
Lelouch commented, approaching the weakage .
" The pilot was definitely female. Are you here to find her?" CC teased him.
(What's with this woman?)
" Of course not. This knightmare is different. I am here to find something valuable."
As he approached the wekage , he saw an injured girl inside it.
Lelouch took out a gun. But then he noticed her and came closer.
"She?..how can she be here? ... how is this possible?"
The moment he looked at Zero Two he knew instantly who she was. Though his head started spinning as her appearance would drastically change the plot, he helped her and did first aid on her.
"So you really did come because of the woman. Well you better hurry that Suzaku guy was coming towards us."
"Ah forgot it."
Rousin again ordered Venteta to carry Zero Two as he had a few more unfinished businesses to do.
