Chapter 68: 68. Inevitable breakup!

"Reuel, I did something wrong, didn't I? Just tell me what I did," She held him with one hand and beat her chest with the other... 

"Just look at me... Tell me what I did wrong," She tries talking reasonably, tries holding back the tears so she could sound assuring.

"I swear I'll fix it. Whatever it is that I've done wrong, ple_please," The sobs were hard to control, her head wearily falls down, but she gathers her strength and looks up at him again with pleading eyes. 

"Please forgive me... I don't know what it is that I've done wrong, but please don't push me away, I beg you... Please I'll fix whatever it is that I've done wrong, so please just—" 

She didn't do anything wrong, and yet she was apologizing like her life depended on it.

Looking at his eyes that refused to stare at her, she suddenly remembered Roxy's words... Was he like this because she told him she loved him??
