Chapter 3: THE GAME BEGINS
Bogsu directly jumped up to land on the roof and with a wine bottle in her hands, she looked towards the palace standing there in it's glory, while tilting her head sipping the wine slowly with a smile on her face.
Yes, it was about time to visit him and without any hesitation she jumped the roof to another going on looking like a temptress dancing as her red dress flowed behind her.
She stopped at the Emperor's palace entrance standing on the gate, she smirked, it wouldn't hurt to play with the guards a little right?
She sat down at the entrance while taking a shot of her drink, a guard spotted her and yelled "hey, you there what are you doing at the Emperor's premises how dare you trespass."The guard had a look of disgust on his face as he thought she was a commoner.
"Good, you are here, seems i'm about to run out of my wine, would you mind giving me one of yours?" Bogsu said without much change in her expression.
"Does this place looks like a cellar to you, go back to the brothel you came back from." The guard said planning to shove her away, Bogsu red lips curled up with disbelief, "brothel, heh, seems you don't know who I am at all." She said while carefully dropping her wine bottle and stood up with a dead pan look on her face.
The Guard stepped back a little with fear but remembering that this was his territory and his comrades were there to back him up he regained his confidence and directed his hand to his sword prepared to draw it out any time the weird woman strikes, at least she was a woman and wouldn't have any ability to strike back or so he thought.
Bogsu saw the guard hand go towards his swords she cracked her neck in response and charged towards him, the guard unsheathed his sword in response to her charge and thrusted the sword towards her with his strength mistakenly leaving his body wide open.
Bogsu(1) dodged his strike and landed a hit on his neck with her palm directly knocking him out , seeing him lying on the ground she felt as if was back to fighting those money motivated people who couldn't land a hit, people were indeed weak.
Han jisung entered his room with a headache as the guards reported that the people who went to capture the Lady in red couldn't succeed and returned with dislocated body parts, Only if he could get a hold of her then he would be satisfied.
He turned towards his bed only to see a woman in a red dress which contrasted greatly with the white beddings, the lady drank wine while closing her eyes lying down comfortably.
"Who are you and how did you get past the palace guards." Han jisung asked warily.
"Are you that dumb or did the shock numb your brain or what, after all the stories you heard about me you are asking who I am." Bogsu said still drinking her wine.
Han jisung frowned at her disrespectful attitude but found it somewhat familiar, then realization struck him The Lady in red it was her, but what was she doing here.
"Judging by your expression I can guess you've already figured out my identity, also don't you know interrupting a person that is deep into her drink is rude, next time announce your arrival or ask to speak first don't just barge in like that." Bogsu said with a displeased expression.
Han jisung felt his eyes twitch, who was barging into who's place without permission, "What did you do to my guards." He asked again feeling concerned for his guards.
"Ohh those play things, errrm they should wake up in an hour or two, they don't really deserve the title guards i'm wondering how your Royal family managed to live this long m, oops I forgot the Empress is dead now I see the reason why ." Bogsu said while carefully watching Han jisung expression and she saw what she wanted and smiled.
"What exactly do you want?" Han jisung said coldly the topic of his wife was a soft spot to him and the only reason why he decided to marry the Royal consort was because of the pressure from the court on seeing the Empress didn't birth a boy to inherit the throne.
"Calm down a bit your Highness I come in peace in fact an offer that will secure the royal family." Bogsu said with the air of suspense round about her while Han Jisung raised his eyebrows in response as if telling her to go on.
"So it goes like this how about I become the general of those lousy things you call guards that way not only do I train them properly, You get the praise for all the things I do such as killing annoying pests, and get a free protection from me, three whole benefits of making me the general, so what do you think." Bogsu said while sitting up like she had just accomplished something great feeling confident at the proposal because she knew that only because she challenged his authority was he after her so if she offered herself to him, he wouldn't hesitate but grab the opportunity.
Han jisung went into deep thought, his wife and daughter had been killed in that incident years ago and he only has his son now, he wouldn't want the same incident to happen again and also if he manages to get the lady in red under his control the people would think he was the one who ordered her all this while, so he decided to agree, "Done, you will be bestowed with the title of the general." Han jisung said oblivious to the murderous glint that flashed In Bogsu eyes.
"But , you have to tell me your real name." Han jisung said sternly like trying to impose his authority.
"Call me Bogsu." Bogsu said nonchalantly as if not noticing his attitude.
"What kind of parents name their child that?" Han jisung asked confused at her name .
"It was situation that named me not my parents." Bogsu said mysteriously leaving Han jisung to wonder.
"Don't bother prying, it would do you no good." She added after noticing Han jisung expression.
"I will be off now." Bogsu said and slipped through the window at the corner of the room effortlessly leaving Han jisung to his thoughts.
"Mother i'm in, now time to Conquer and get our revenge, let the game begin." Bogsu said to the stars with a murderous smirk on her face.
