All this time she had been trying to evade him until it was clear to her now that only she could save him.

This ring was the key to putting old demons to rest for him, maybe some of the shadows that she saw lurking in his eyes would finally dissipate.

A sense of urgency overwhelmed her, they had wasted so much time that would have been better spent searching for the chaos orbs and now another mystery had popped up for her to solve.

At least while they were searching for chaos orbs it wouldn't hurt to ask if anyone recognised the dragon motif on the ring.
