Chapter 1: BUSINESS MARRIED
Scarlett's point of view

The alarm ring again and I groan before stretching my hand to switch it off.
'Gosh! I can not believe my Mum set the alarm when I did not have any important meeting or something.
I am not getting up yet, I have to sleep more, and I can not depress myself from sleeping because of unimportant things.
I cover myself up with a duvet and close my eyes before falling into a deep sleep.
"Wake up sleeping head, are you going to sleep all day?" My mother yelled trying to remove the duvet from my body but I hold it back.
"Let me have some sleep Mum, I am weary from this week's work. This is Saturday Mum, I need more rest. "I said covering up properly with the duvet.
"Better stand up before I spank your buttock. Don't tell me you don't remember what today is?" She asked and remove the duvet completely from my body.
"Today is Saturday, that is why I need more sleep. "I said as if I did not know what she meant.
" Don't tell me you forget that your husband-to-be and your in-law were coming for lunch today. I set your alarm but you go ahead and turned it off, Scarlett. "My mother, said in surprise and I smirked inwardly.
" Oh, that! I totally forgot about it!!" I exclaim with a fake shock reaction and cover my mouth afterwards.
"Drop the art and leave the bed Scar, I am not ready for this. "My mother said
"Honey, they are almost here. "My Dad shouted from the door.
"Okay darling, am coming now. "My mother shouted back before facing me.
"Stand up Scar, don't keep us waiting. "My mother said in a warning voice.
"Okay Mum, I won't. "I muttered sadly before walking into the bathroom lazily.
To be honest, I did not like the idea of that business marriage, but I don't have a choice. My father's company is at stake, in order to save his company I have to marry a playboy. I just hope I will not regret this in future.
Please forgive my manner. I am scarlet Diego, Scar for short. The first daughter of the famous Diego. A have a younger sister ( Mia) who hates me more than everything in the world and she is also the apple of my parent's eyes. My parent loves her and they always compare me to Mia.
I could remember the day my father brought out about the business marriage thing

I was coming back from the work my work and I look so weary, all thanks to my annoying boss. I was about to enter the sitting room when my family's voice stop me. I don't mean to eardrop their conversation but I stop because they mention my name, and am sure they won't continue their conversation if I enter.
"Dad, I can't do it, I am an upcoming model, and I can not let this business marriage issue destroy my career. "I heard Mia's voice.
"Mia, my company is at stake, soon I will be bankrupt and all this leisure life will be over. Please, Mia, I have looked for help from many but nobody is willing to help. And Logan that willing to help asked one of my daughters to marry his irresponsible son. "I heard my father shaking his voice.
"So simple father, since they did not specify which daughter of your daughter, why can't you get Scarlett to marry that irresponsible guy instead of me? am not ready to get marry dad, I still need my hot figure to achieve my goal." I heard Mia's voice and my body shake in fear.
"That is true honey, let's get Scar married to that guy since she is no future ambition. "I heard my mother's voice and hot tears rolled down my eyes. She sure knows how to insult me.
I open the door gently and they all look at me at once
"Good evening Mum, dad. "I greet them and tried to walk away but Dad stop me.
"Evening, come here Scarlett. "He said and I walked toward them.
"Here, check it out. "He added and hand the document over to me. I read to throw it before returning it back to him.
"What did you say?" He asked and I look at him before giving him a questioning look
"Don't act done, you are getting married in two week time. "Mummy said in anger.
"I am not ready to marry, and when the time comes I will marry the person that I love not a stranger. "I reply, which makes me receive a thundering slap from my mother.
"How dare you review to married to him? we are running out of financial problems and you are here saying rubbish. You have never been useful to this family before, and now that we need your help, you want to turn us down!!" Mummy yelled in anger.
"Get ready they are coming for lunch at weekend. "Daddy said and leave the sitting immediately without waiting and mummy followed him not without sending me a killer look.
"Sorry, sis. "Mia said mockingly before walking toward her room.
THE END OF THE FLASHBACK
I walked out of the bathroom after wasting and freshening up. I walk toward my wardrobe and select an extra baggy dress which makes me look more like grandma. I brought out my make-up kits and started doing some magic on my face. I was done within a short period of time.
I walked toward the mirror and heaved a deep sigh as I stared at my reflection, let's see if he will agree to marry someone like me.
I sighed for the last time before going out of my room.
