Chapter 2: Summoned
(Rimuru's POV)
I heaved a sigh of relief as I went back to Tempest after the Walpurgis. Surely, naming the Octagram—and it was clear that Frey and Carrion were no longer the demon lords. Well, everything seemed clear until Souei informed me about something.
"Great Rimuru. I think someone has entered the territory of the Jura Tempest Federation." The kijin informed with strictness in his voice and eagerness to listen to what I had to say. I was in my slime form, and without any further ado, I quickly took action to become human.
"Good. How do they look like any information?"
"Yes. He is a human male with brown hair and brown eyes. Looked cheerful."
Brown hair. Noted.
"Was he an otherworlder?"
"I have to find that out more". Souei told and disappeared to find more information.

It was Raphael. What was she trying to tell me? And 'familiar'?
Was Tempest in another danger zone even after Clayman was dead. No, I am just overthinking things.
In spite of me being doubtful, I decided to go and
and check out who the person was.
"Ranga!" I yell and the tempest wolf comes out immediately from my shadow.
"Let's check out."

(Tamura's POV)
It is tiring. First senpai died and now I'm being summoned to an unknown place. And to kill a slime… Well, I don't want to kill or hurt anybody… I witnessed someone dying in front of me.
Those old priests and mages, what was the number, yes 30 had said, "If you cleanse the place called Tempest then we will send you back home." As if I had believed them. Those old timers not even having the slightest idea that my child Satoru's birthday was being celebrated.
And here I was roaming in the wild alone. They never even bothered to have Miho-san with me. I mean she too was
was summoned here in the church by some separate mages and was sent for some other employment.
Around me was lush green plants, forests and mushrooms. Sometimes, I was lucky enough to witness the beautiful lilies and roses of unknown colors—it was unnaturally beautiful since it is hard to find them in our world. However, I was mystified by the appearance of a giant crab-snake like creature which clearly found me tasty to eat. It was running behind me and I ran as fast as could to save my life. Those mages gave me thinks called a skill. A skill named "Berserker" which could make me like 10 times stronger. I knew it was useless to someone as giant as the creature running behind me. Oh, God… Bye Bye, Miho-san and goodbye my son.
I sobbed silently as the creature made a lightning attack as seen in those fantasy films; when I heard someone yelling, "BEELZEBUB!!"
What was that?!
I looked up and saw a woman, with long silver hair and deep, golden eyes—exceptionally beautiful… A true legend…
She looked at me.
I looked at her—but the amazement on her face did puzzle me somewhat as she screamed, "T-Tamura?! What are you doing here?!"
