Chapter 8: Either An Innocent Girl Or A Cheat

The atmosphere in the police station was a bit gloomy because of Aiden's presence but it looks like Aiden was oblivion to what was going on.

Sandra looked at the strange man that was approaching her and the only thing on her mind was the man was familiar but she doesn't think she knew him from anywhere.

Aiden looked at Sandra got her eyebrow slotted in confusion and the only thing on his mind was what an interesting girl.

"Thank you so much, sir, "Sandra's brother started thanking Aiden which jolted him out of the staring competition and he smirked when dangerous thoughts came to his mind.

Sandra looked at the man whose expression changes like a chameleon's skin and she decided to be cautious of him.

The policemen were delighted to have the nation's goddess in their midst but the presence of the unknown man with a dangerous aura threw them off and they also were skeptical about how they should act.

"I don't think I should be here then," Sandra says turning on her heels to leave the station but a voice halted her steps.

"Not so fast, Miss Sandra, I say I am going to settle but I have not stated my settlement terms," the man says ridiculously with an amused expression and Sandra was shocked about the crazy expression the man was exhibiting.

Sandra was amused by the man in front of her he wanted to settle but he still needed to say his settlement terms.

"Then if I may ask Mr... "Sandra says trailing signaling that he didn't get the name of the man.

"Anthony, "Aiden says with a flirty tone and Sandra shot him a glare but she kept a smile on her face.

"Then Mr. Anthony what will did you think can offer as a renunciation to get my brother out of here," Sandra said.

Her tone was daring because she knew the man in front of her was not ordinary and she should be careful with him.

"Hmmm, "Aiden says trailing off and the expectant look on Sandra's face brought a feeling of serenity to his dark heart and at that time something ticks off in him.

Aiden was shocked that anyone could get that reaction of him but he blinked back those stupid thoughts and he resumed his earlier taunts completely overruling his ordeal.

"Let's say you owe me, "Aiden says taking a seat in front of the presiding officer but Sandra's next words caught me off, guard.

"Name your price Mr. Anthony I hate owing people because I am not sure what outrageous thing they will ask in return," Sandra says her tone carrying a hint of seriousness and cautiousness.

Aiden turned back to look at the woman and tons of emotions were displayed on her face one thing caught his eye, and Sandra quickly averted her eyes when she saw the boring gaze of Aiden on her.

"Like I said Miss Sandra you owe me, "Aiden related trying to irk off Sandra since he knew the woman was petty and she got angered over little things.

"What a jerk," Sandra mumbled but she still had a smile plastered on her face, if her cheek could protest they would have protested about the abuse Sandra had put them through with her fake half-smile.

Sandra turned around to the leave station but that annoying voice she had come to hate in such a short time rings out again.

"And our favorite celebrity decided to walk away without giving us an autograph," the man says like he was hurt or something and Sandra clutched her clothes hard trying to suppress her anger.

"I...I., "Sandra was saying but she got tired of explaining herself to the man and she scoffed angrily which was a mistake.

She looked at the faces of the people around her and she sees that they are still looking at her with the same admiration she breathe a sigh of relief.

"Is there anyone that wanted an autograph here?"Sandra asked with a pleasing smile and different officers trooped in from different directions almost pushing themselves down in the process.

Sandra looked at the piled white note in shock and she almost blamed herself for trying to be like a well-respected celebrity.

"A mini fan signing event, I think," Sandra thought.

She got herself seated on the chair they provided to her and she started inscribing her autograph on it with a heart emoticon.

Aiden almost burst into laughter because of the expression on her face but he looked at her with misty eyes when a thought came to his mind his expression turns grave and he averted his eyes.

After some of the officers sorted out his files, the settlement was cleared and Sandra's brothers thanked Aiden profusely.

"Thanks so much, sir, "they both chorused but Aiden just nodded his head.

Aiden stoop up from the chair walking to the sweaty Sandra that was soaked in autograph signing.

"Looks like my autograph will have to wait, "Aiden says and Sandra muttered a curse under her breath.

"Since this is not going to be our last meeting," he says lowering himself to the sitting Sandra and she moved back on her seat staring directly into the eyes of the man that she was unable to read.

"You have beautiful eyes," he says standing up again and he smiled.

"Since you have a debt to pay, remember my name is... Aiden...," he says walking out of the police station like a superman Sandra looked at the retreating back of the strange man that called himself Aiden and she mutters some words to herself.

"I hope our paths won't cross again Mr. Aiden," Sandra mumbled and she turn her face to her brothers, shooting them a deadly glare.

Aiden walked out of the police station his earlier countenance had changed from the flirty bad boy to a dangerous villain.

The car door Audi R8 was opened and the people around were looking in anticipation to see who was influential enough but was still invited to a police station.

Aiden sauntered into his car without looking back at the curious glance arched at him.

"So boss how is, Miss Sandra, "Jim. asked politely not trying to annoy his boss.

"Ohhh sorry I forgot I should have asked for an autograph for your daughter but do not worry we are going to meet her soon," Aiden says looking outside the car window.

Miss Sandra, you are an interesting person, Aiden thought remembering the expression that he saw on her face of Sandra at the police station.

"Is either she is an innocent girl or she is a real cheat, "Aiden thought looking at the city that was already welcoming the slanting indigo color of the sun setting

Sandra stomped out of the police station angry and her brothers followed behind meekly.

"Sandra," Smith the older one called her but she didn't bother answering him and he knew it was best to keep quiet.

"I won't tell mom so, make sure that you stay out of trouble, "Sandra says not to bother looking at his brothers but their next words halted her steps.

"We are thinking maybe we should stay with you for a few days, "Joseph the younger one but older than Sandra by 2 years says and Sandra let out a maniac laugh.

"My place? Do you want to lose your lives," she asked her expression darkening and her brothers trembles in fear.

"I think you won't want to be found dead tomorrow and I won't also appreciate being on news for murdering my brothers so, let's make it that way," Sandra says walking out on her brothers and they both let out a relieved sigh.

"Sandra has gone crazy," Joseph mumbled looking at the retreating back of her sister.

"Yes we are driving her crazy," Smith added looking at the drop shoulders of her sisters he knew those shoulders her being weighed down by responsibilities and his expression turn guilty.

After Sandra got back into their parked cab that was located on the isolated side of the street.

Becky bombarded Sandra with questions but all Sandra could say was "I felt like I met a psychopath," she says and Becky sighed heavily.

The stress might be catching up on her, Becky thought.
