Gerald looked at the girl that seemed curious about him and he wondered why she was asking him something like that.

"What did you mean?" He asked his voice devoid of emotions and Becky got self-aware knowing Gerald was busy asking her question was different from teasing her about little things.

"I…I.. am sorry if I pry into your privacy I don't mean to," Becky quickly apologized not knowing how a question could push Gerald off like that and she regretted ever getting curious about the man.

Why was she even curious in the first place was it not enough that he was not shooting her down for questioning him?

Gerald felt guilty seeing how the girl was looking guilty and he knew he was a bit harsh on her but he could just not help it.

Whenever he heard anyone mention her name he just could not help but feel mad.

"Go to sleep, we are leaving this place tomorrow," Gerald says, and he decided to walk out of the room but Becky's voice halted his steps.
