Chapter 35: Hostile

It did not take too long for the commotion brought about by the last match of group two to cease. Once the medics took away the two students to the infirmary, the tournament resumed in swift style like before.

Since the match had also ended in a draw, this meant that everyone from group two had been eliminated, so up till now, only Naomi had qualified for the finals.

With the foregone conclusions of groups one and two, it was now time for the matches in group three to begin.

"Good luck," Iolana wished Hade her best.

"Thanks, but I do not need luck," Hade replied as he slowly made his way to the elevated platform.

Iolana squirmed at her cousin's response. She of all people knew that it was not mere arrogance that made him act like that. It was simply the confidence he had in his abilities.
