Chapter 91: Prologue (II)
An eerie silence.
Destruction of tremendous magnitude stretched as far as the eye could see. The once lush and vibrant landscape now showed prominent scars, the very earth itself bearing witness to an intense struggle.
Splintered trees stood like barren sentinels, their branches twisted and broken, hinting at the chaotic energy that had consumed them.
Dark clouds loomed overhead, casting a somber shadow upon the battleground, whereupon shattered shards of metal lay strewn all about like forgotten remnants of past glory.
Numerous deep craters marred the ground, evidence of devastating spells and powerful strikes that had crumbled the terrain.
Though the battlefield now lay silent, the silence was a deceptive calm, for the lingering whispers of magic energy residue in the air hinted at the potential for another deadly confrontation.
Tightly gripping the hilt of his double-edged broad sword, Furyblade, Dedric struggled to catch his breath.

Kush63 Hey, y'all. Author Kush here. Here are a few important notes you need to know before you dive into Vol 2:
1. As of Vol 1 (ending), Hade is now ranked late Mortal class. He can use 6 Order spells that is, the Zone of Tranquility, Gravity control, the Switcheroo, and 3 others that are yet to be revealed.
2. Hade can also use Energy Conglomeration, but according to a deal he made with Professor Darla Haynes, the Head of the Magic Laboratory, he cannot use the technique in public.
3. Last but not least, Hade has not yet discovered a lot about his innate condition (Soul Dualism) but most of that will be covered in this volume.
