Chapter 3: Episode 3: A Little Candle in The Cold Dark Space
One day, Max was playing with Luna in the cargo hold when he heard a voice calling out to him. "Hey, Max! Over here!"
He turned to see Jennie running towards him, her face beaming with excitement. Max's tail twitched with delight. He loved playing with Jennie, and her energy and enthusiasm were contagious.
"Hey, Jennie!" he said, his robotic voice filled with joy. "What do you want to play today?"
Jennie grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Let's play hide and seek!" she exclaimed.
Max's ears perked up at the suggestion. He loved hide and seek, and he was confident that his advanced sensors would make him a formidable opponent.
"Okay, you hide first, and I'll count," he said, settling into a crouch.
Jennie nodded and scampered off, giggling. Max counted to ten before starting his search. He moved quietly and quickly, scanning every nook and cranny for any sign of Jennie.
Suddenly, he heard a soft giggle coming from behind a nearby console. He crept closer, his sensors picking up a faint heat signature. As he drew closer, he could see Jennie's small form hiding behind a crate.
"Gotcha!" he exclaimed, reaching out to tag her.
Jennie squealed with delight and darted away, her laughter echoing through the cargo hold. Max gave chase, feeling exhilarated by the thrill of the game.
As they played, Max couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and gratitude. Even in the cold, dark expanse of space, there were moments of light and warmth, like the laughter of a child or the purring of a feline friend.

Jennie giggled. "A candle? That's silly, Max!"
Max chuckled. "Maybe it is, but it's true. You bring light and warmth to my life, and I'm grateful for that."
As they sat together, enjoying each other's company, Max couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. He knew that life on the Mars space station wasn't always easy, but moments like this made it all worthwhile.
