Chapter 3: Episode 2
you were again standing through the window, looking outside. it was one hour to go. everything was packed you got money that you earned and you left some of it for your family. you kept thinking about what to do, where to live, and how to manage.
suddenly the phone rang it was your friend Yeji!
"yeobo --"
"Ryu Jin-ah! Is everything ok out there? what happened? What did your --"
" I'm ok! I'm ok!"
"Did your dad agree?"
"not yet."
"then what you're gonna do?"
" If it takes any cost, I'm ready to take it!"
"That's my girl!"
"Have ya packed everything up?"
"yep."
"Have you arranged the hotel or room or something else?"
"no. not at all."
"worries are gone now! I've somehow arranged an apartment for you. My friend lives in Seoul, he'll be there before you to support you at any moment. the apartment is a bit small but that's all I can do, dear."
"that's amazing. thanks, dude."
"anytime."
"I will forward you his number, call him when you get there. and it's 10:00. when will you leave??"
"ah! I'm just leaving quiet by now."
"is there anything else disturbing you?"
"ya...you know I argued with Dad."
"yes."
"he ended up separating me from this family."
"What?! don't be sad, buddy! he'll be ok with time. alright. you should leave now, it's already late. "
"ok..."
you hung up and left the room with your luggage. you decided to tell your parents before leaving. Your mom was awake cuz you knew you will leave by 11:00. She was sitting in the lounge waiting for you to come out. "Mom, " You came downstairs feeling down she stood up in tears eyes
" I am sorry," you said last time and hugged her and she kissed your forehead
"Go safe."
"I promise I will come back,"
" your brother said that excessively." it was your dad who came from his room just to see you off.
your mom came up with tears.
"life is never fair, Dad. nonetheless, that doesn't mean you don't deserve to live."
your dad's jaw dropped
"I just need your blessings." you expected him to give you his blessings but he stood still and said nothing. you understood that he was done with you. you said a last buy and left the house. you took a taxi and went to the airport on the way thinking about what life can be holding for you.
When you docked at the airport, there was an extensive mass of people trekking from place to place -- like everyone is rushing toward South Korea 😂. You never have been to another country independently, especially where you are stepping in for the first time. But you kind of knew about it so it does not seem weird.
After 10 minutes of waiting, Yeji was hurrying to approach you
"Ryu Jinniee!!!" she hugged you
"as always, you're late."
"sorry, boss!"
"its fine. lets goar!!!"
"sometimes your Aussie and Korean mixed accent hits me - seriously!"
"haha. that's genes, you know."
you both were sitting in waiting area after checking. waiting for the departure.
"will you forget me when you go there...?"
"ofc not!!"
"how was your dad?"
"they think I'm not part of their family anymore." you faked a smile
"oh..."
"but I don't care anymore about their thoughts. I will do what I am supposed to."
"did he see you off?"
"he didn't even give me his blessings." you scoffed
"alright! I am here to give you my blessing!"
you giggled
"al...right."
"May God give you everything you want."
"amen"
"May you gain success in every aspect of life"
"amen."
"May you be part of skz."
"ameeeeen" your smile widened
"may you live a happy life"
"amen"
"may you get married to your bias."
"ame - what?!" you slapped her arm in shyness
"C'mon! I'm giving you a blessing!"
"Amen..." You giggled
Soon the Flight took off and you stepped out the country to fight for your dream
