catch and release Chapter 3

-another 2 weeks has passed,, and like lisa said from our last conversation she started interacting with me,,

but--

--: just responding when we talk, nod , small smile that is not even reaching her eye's .. and sometimes I can still feel her giving me cold shoulder.. I am getting impatient,, I don't know what's gotten into me but,, its like I want more from her,, I maybe asking for too much since she said she's on the process of moving on from me,..... sometimes I wish she wont,,

--:walking at the field while thinking about her,, she's been on my mind lately that I don't comprehend why,.. then I spotted her on a bench alone..-- my feet dragged me to her direction.. and she notice me right away.. I smiled at her,, and I pray for all gods to give me answer why but when she smile back at me,, my world stops.. that moment I literally feel like floating,,.

--: I am smiling like an idiot getting closer to her when someone grab my arm,.

HANBIN: hey jennie!

JENNIE: he-hey... what is it,,

HANBIN: uhm.. just wondering if we can have lunch together?

JENNIE: lunch?? uhhhmm..

--:I was actually planning to ask lisa to eat with me Tho.. I was thinking of giving lisa a rest and accept hanbin's offer when I hover my head to lisa she's still looking at us but just receiving a cold stare from me and that smile earlier was like totally vanished,, she then stand up and walk away..

I look back to hanbin..

JENNIE: so-sorry hanbin ,, but I already had a commitment.. maybe next time.. bye~~

--: I left him without waiting for his response and run towards lisa..

JENNIE: lisa wait!!

--: she didn't even bother to look back or stop.. I know she heard me I scream like crazy... I have no choice but to run as fast as I could,,, GOD she have a very long legs .. luckily I caught her shirt that made her stop..

JENNIE: li-lisa.. HAAH!! (panting) Jesus!! why didn't you stop,,? I've been calling you!!

LISA: what is it??

JENNIE: why did you left??

LISA: I don't like the view..

JENNIE: what??..

LISA: never mind.. why did you follow me..? aren't you talking to somene?

JENNIE: huh? were done talking.. I just want to ask if we can eat lunch together.?

LISA: we always eat lunch together jennie,, with our friends..

JENNIE: uh.. that's the thing if uhmm , if possible to be just the two of us??

--: lisa raise her brow while looking at me,.

JENNIE: I just want us to have like bonding time you know.. but if you prefer-- (cut off)

LISA: its fine.. I don't have afternoon class so I will be back at the dorm,, you think you can cook for our lunch??

JENNIE: really?? yeah sure I would love to,, just wait for me there,, I just have like 30 mins report then I'll be at the dorm..

LISA: sure, I'll meet you there..

--: just then lisa left,, while me .. I was staring at her back with a very creepy grin on my face.. I think my cheeks hurts..

--: after I finished my report I run towards the locker.. thinking that lisa is waiting for me at the dorm,, I will make sure to make her impressed.. I stopped when I saw bunch of students near my locker.. as I got nearer,, I was shock seeing a familiar guy lying on the floor,, and another student tapping his face,,

CHAN: hey hanbin!!

JENNIE: what happened to him??

CHAN: he fainted,,

JENNIE: oh gosh.. lets bring him to the infirmary,

- minutes have passed after he was brought here he finaly woke up..

CHAN: hey dude you okay??

HANBIN: ye-yeah.. just a bit dizzy..

JENNIE: what happened to you hanbin??

--: he was shocked seing me Infront of him

HANBIN: je-jennie? what are you doing here??

JENNIE: answer my question.

--: he lower his head and mumbled

HANBIN: I- uhh, I haven't eaten since this morning and just got a punishment from basketball practice earlier for being lazy.. maybe I was just tired..

JENNIE: AIIIISSHh.. what are you a kid?? come on lets eat..

HANBIN: I'm fine jennie,, I can just go with chan,,

JENNIE: stop being stubborn.. lets go,,

--: I dragged him to the cafeteria,

--I was watching him eating like a kid being scolded by his mother..

HANBIN: tha-thank you for taking care of me jennie..

JENNIE: no problem were friends so don't mention it.

HANBIN: hmmm.. still thank you.. I mean I know you should be somewhere else but you choose to be with me..

--: I was confused to what he said.. am I forgetting something?""

JENNIE: huh? what do you mean?

--:then I notice my friends making their way on our table,

JISOO: yow jendukie!! why are you here??

JENNIE: why ? I can't be here??

ROSE: well.. I just thought that your already at the dorm since you don't have afternoon classes.. and why are you with him??

--: I was about to answer her when her phone rung.. she was looking at me while talking at the phone that got me confused.

JENNIE: who was that??

ROSE: I'ts lisa.. she's looking for you.. I said your here eating lunch with him.. (pointing at hanbin)

--: My eyes went wide on rose remarks.. ''

JENNIE: Oh sh*T!! how did I forget that!! aiiisshhh!! stu*d me!!

HANBIN: hey are you okay..

JENNIE: NO~~.. oh my god , I'm so dead..! Uhmm hanbin I'm so sorry I have to go,..

HANBIN: yeah sure. thanks again..

--I quickly stand up and run out of the cafeteria.. the dorm is not that far school but I have to be there quick so I took a cab.. while on the passenger seat,, I keep on cussing my self. Looking at the time its already 4 PM

JENNIE: shit! shit!! how can you be so stupid jennie!!! she already given you a chance to be close again and this??

__: I scratch my head like crazy.. I was just hoping lisa wont get mad at me..

--: It took me 10 mins as I asked the driver to be fast as he could,, after I paid him,, I run inside and went directly to lisa's room.. inhaling heavily then I start to knock.

JENNIE: lisa~~ are you there??.. Uhm I'm so sorry I just got an emergency and I forgot to call you that I'll be late..

--: I hear no response..

JENNIE: Li-lisa~~ please talk to me I am really sorry.. I can still make you dinner,, I will cook your favorite just to make up to you.. pleasee lisa~~

--: I've been knocking and calling her name for I don't know how long.. but not even a single response from her.. "" she really is mad at me now'',, but it didn't stop me from making up to hear . I decided to go to kitchen and see if we have what I need to make lisa's favorite food..

--Its now almost 7 PM when the rest of the gang went home..

SEULGI: WOW!! what so special on this day jendukie?? you made all of that??

JENNIE: nothing so special.. I just felt like I want to cook food for you guys,,

--:: I'm not sure why I say that,, when the truth I wanna impress lisa..

JISOO: I don't know what's gotten into you but.. thank you jendulkie..

JENNIE: just eat unnie..

ROSE: wait where's lisa??

--: I got a bit alarmed when rose mentioned lisa..

JENNIE: uhmm.. I think she'e in her room..

--: I don't wanna call her .. she might ignore me.. but hope rose can get her to eat with us,,.

ROSE: I'll just call her..

--: it made me smile when rose walk towards lisa's room.. keeping my attention on the door waiting for them to come back.. then my smile drops seeing rose coming back alone,

ROSE: she said she's not hungry..

JENNIE: uhh I see.. I well just uhm.. left her some.. maybe she will eat later..

__: I sat eating ,, feeling a bit down.. Now I think I'm back to zero..

-: Its already 11 PM I stayed at the kitchen after I wash the dishes'.. well I volunteer so that I can fix lisa's meal.. hoping she will eat it.. I am sitting at the counter when I noticed someone making its way to the door..

-and its lisa..

JENNIE: lisa!!..

-: she stops a bit but didn't turn around.. I walk towards her,,, she might have sensed that I'm getting close to her that made her continue walking.. not even thinking what will I do next but my feet just drag me following lisa's tracks..

its been few minutes now that I'm following her and calling her out but she didn't bother to stop.. I'm actually getting tired.. until we came at the near park,, I'm not that athletic my legs are now a bit wobbly,.. and being clumsy as I am I stumble and drop my knees ,,,

JENNIE: OW! sh*t.. it has scrapes.. aiishh.. I can't keep up with her,, maybe I'll just go home.. I will just talk to her tomorrow..

--:: I already made up my mind to went back home when a pair of shoes .. show's Infront of me.. looking up seeing lisa looking at my bruise knees.. it hit me something making my eye gets teary..

LISA: let me see..

--: her voice is flat.. and she keeps her eye's to my knee's,, while I'm just staring at her.. my sight is getting blured,, she then turn her back and said..

LISA: come on I'll carry you..

JENNIE: but I'm heavy~~

LISA: if your not gonna let me carry you back at the dorm I'll leave you here..

--I didn't say a word and just place myself at her back..

'''lately I'm discovering a lot of unfamiliar feelings when it come's to lisa.. that I haven't felt towards kai.. I don't even undersatnd my self but I felt like crying,, to late on saying that because my tears are already making her shoulder wet..

LISA: stop crying its just a scratch...

JENNIE: i-its not about my knee (sniff)

LISA: then what is it??

JENNIE: I- I'm so (sob) sorry lisa-yah~~ (sniff) please don't be mad at me.... (sob)

__:: lisa became quiet.. and it actually make me wanna cry more ..

--:: back at our dorm.. she place me at the Livingroom sofa.. and took the medkit.. when she went back,, I let her take care of my scratched knees.. I'm just looking at her the whole time,,

JENNIE: lisaaaa~~~ I'm really sorry.. Its not my intension to keep you waiting.. I swear... I really had an emergency that It left my mind .. I even cooked all your favorite food as an apology..

LISA: is eating lunch with hanbin is your emergency? you should at least told me that you change yur mind.. coz I'm not planning to expect anything from you..

JENNIE: NO!!.. I-its just.. he fainted and I felt concern of his situation ,, his a friend and I felt bad for him..

--: lisa just nod.. I'm not sure if I'm using a correct words but,, she looks more disappointed..

LISA: nothing to be apologized for.. again, I'm not expecting anything from you..

JENNIE: are you.... uhm mad at me ?

LISA: no-

--: I heave a breath and look down.. I felt her standing up then she speaks..

LISA: Do you still have anything left for me?

JENNIE: huh?

LISA: ''food"" I'm hungry, you cooked for me right?

--: I got excited hearing those from her.. forgetting of my bruises I jump off the sofa that made me stumbled.. lisa was there to catch me.. and there it goes again.. a loud thump on my chest that I don't know where its comming from..

-she's holding my waist and had my arm around her neck.. an eye contact between us that lasted for about a minute now,. and she broke off my Delima--

LISA: don't confuse your self jennie..

--: she then let go of me and walk ahead towards the kitchen,,.. I was left there standing,, and still comprehending what really is going on with me.. all I know Is that I just want my old friend back,, the annoying,, funny,, caring, and doing everything just to catch my attention...well I guess I lost her...

--: I hover my head on her direction she is now sitting at the counter.. I shake my head.. ''NO.. I still have time to get her back.. and I will get her back..'' I continue to walk until I'm at her back,, inhaling heavily then touching her shoulder ,, she flinch a bit..

JENNIE: I'll just prepare your food,, you'll love it.. (wink)

--::'' yes lisa ,, and prepare yourself as well,, I already lost a special person that happen to be my first love,, I'm not losing another special person in my life..
