Chapter 7: Chapter: 7 ( Natch D)

The radiant sun was shimmering in the clear sky.  Millie, landlord of Natch E niece was passing by the corridor as her new cross strap shoes were shining like jewels.

A guy passed her in the corridor and suddenly turned around. "Umm! Millie, can I talk with you?" Augustya mumbled.

Milli recognised the familiar voice and said, "I am busy." She ignored him like a boy ignored by his crush.

Augustya sighed as his prey moved further.

"I want to transfer to Natch D." He yelled as if he had no other option left; however, the girl was already out of his sight.

Two days passed, night started showing its true colours. At last, the days were finally over; now it was time for the cold night.

Because of the polar night, prisoners would have more comforting nights compared to days. Due to the darkness and hazardous weather, Nacht E inmates were joyful and relieved of no more work for now.

A deadly storm arrived at Natch E, so prisoners were sheltering in the cafeteria.

"Isn't it weird that we have luxury  compared to other jail inmates." Augustya raised a question that had been bothering him for a while.

"Haha!" Both of his prison mates burst out laughing.

"14! This is to show the EEO(Extremist Endangered Organisation) that we are living well."  Pancho explained and took another sip of fermented juice that  he had stolen from the landlord.

" As you already know, there are 39 prisoners staying here, but  the majority of them came from rich families or belong to endangered species such as me."

Additionally,  Pancho was from the Zwerg species, known as from high I.Q.   The average height in Zwerg was 4.3 feet. Nonetheless, 80% of the Zwerg population had already been eliminated by big royal families and enemies who felt threatened by the Zwerg's smart brain and their technology.

"Ohh! Long ago, I heard that Natch is known for the discipline of their inmates." Augustya said he couldn't digest new facts.

"What you said is right; this is not Natch D." Stoney interrupted and said it in a flat tone. "Natch D is another shady jail where prisoners never come back, as if they are dead. "  Augustya's eyes popped up in shock.

"I was once part of Natch D; the jailer is not like Gan. He is sadistic and loves to see us in pain. " Stoney sniffed, recalling those past memories, and his body quivered.

"So you still want to go to Natch D?"  Pancho asked as he finished the bottle.

"Yeah! There was unfinished business there." Augustya spoke in a serious tone.

Amused by Augustya's words, both of them burst into laughter.

"Haha!"

"Naive child!"

The storm didn't stop, and the wind was harsher ompared to previous years.

Augustya's cell didn't have windows, but he could hear the harsh wind because of poor sound installation. He was lying on his bed, gazing at the ceiling.

After 9 p.m., all lights were off, including Augustya's cell.

"1,2,4…thunder strike." Augustya is playing with himself. Every time lightning struck, he would count the number of times that happened to cure his boredom.

However, the game didn't last long.

"Honey dew cookies 1, honey dew cookies 2."  Afterwards, he started counting the honey dew cookies.

"Zekrom, I missed you."

______****______*****

The  boy had been strolling around the Millie lab for a few days. He had to escape from this place, despite how good life was there.   Augustya  Pandora  had already made up his mind.

Millie saw Augustya standing alone, crossing his hands.

"Heh! Can't you understand the Igrius language? Why are you bothering me, you dum-dum?" Millie said, enraged with the boy. For the past few days, Augustya had been standing there and waiting for her at this time.  Augustya turned around and followed her footsteps.

"I want to talk to you about something," the boy said in a solemn voice.

All of a sudden, his golden eyes were glowing like a flashlight.

"Your eyes! Why are they sparkling?" Millie, bewildered, couldn't comprehend this.

Augustya rubbed his eyes, and then they turned normal.  "I guess my eyes react with magnesium."

"What happens when you react with magnesium?" She asked out of curiosity.

"My eyes start glowing when they react with magnesium."

"Let's talk in my cabin." Millia said she was amused to have another interesting passenger on her board.

Millie's cabin was painted white, there was little furniture, and a holographic fish was moving forth and back. Moreover, the holographic fish was coloured in a rainbow, and its tail was big and wide.

"Pretty!" Agustya admired the beauty of the fish.

"Sit down." Augustya followed her words and sat down on the chair.

"So you want to transfer to Natch D?" Millie asked in a flat note.

Augustya nodded his head.

"Aren't you scared of treachery, of being hurt, or of losing a few limbs?" Millie said the bitter truth. Furthermore,  Natch D was a true hell; when a prisoner died, they didn't mourn but skinned their muscle and sold it on the black market. Even dead ones had value there.   They only thought about making money and expanding their business.

" I am okay with it. So when will I transfer to Natch D?"  Augustya asked calmly.

"You have to deposit something as a guarantee. If you want to transfer to that place." Millia grinned and glanced at the innocent boy.

"Okay! You will get a deposit soon." Augustya Pandora answered as he left her cabin. Being in a military family, he never had problems with finances. The question arises: how would he pay for this?

He stepped out of the door and saw Pancho standing beside the wall. His big ears had already heard everything.

"What are you doing here?" The boy questioned him. He blinked his grey eyes and was a little surprised to see him here.

"Ahh! I got caught." Pancho startled a little.

"Shall we walk, boy?" Pancho proposed, as his outfit looked different—not in beige, though.

Augustya nodded his head and walked along with him.

" So, are you sure you want to go there?" Pacho asked in amusement.

Augustya Pandora didn't utter a word; he was occupied with his thoughts.

' I should ask Maraya. Hmm!  Will she give it to me or not? I wish my gold card was with me. I didn't have to worry about this small thing.'

"14! It seems you are occupied with something. May I help?" Pancho proposed and widened his lips a little.

"Do you have 3900 sols that you can lend to me?" Augustya asked in a low voice.

"Certainly I do have that particular amount. For that, you have to do something for me." Pancho grinned; he rarely extended his hand to aid someone. However, looking at 14 sad faces, he decided to bet on him.

Augustya was delighted and couldn't say no to this offer.  "I am willing to do that."

Pancho rubbed his chin and gave a smug look. Moreover, he hooked another bait.

"You need to kill Gan. Can you do that?" Pancho asked, no hesitation or guilt could be seen in his eyes.

" Okay! I will do it in a few days." Augustya said in determination and left him.

Pancho blinked in surprise and didn't expect this reaction.

He smiled and said to himself, "Let's see who will see another night here."
