Chapter 5: Chapter 5
Zabuza looked forward in shock as he saw Haku take the slash for him.
Even Miyamoto was shocked as he saw someone take the slash.
The shock that Miyamoto got was enough for the invisible blades that covered Zabuza's body to disappear.
Miyamoto, using the momentum of the slash, slashed again.
Zabuza pulled up his sword like a shield, covering Haku's body.
Miyamoto's blade broke as it made contact with Zabuza's sword, not being able to withstand Miyamoto's power or Zabuza's sturdy sword.
Zabuza bashed the flat side of his blade into Miyamoto's face and kicked him back several feet. Zabuza reached into his pouch and threw down a smoke grenade, but just before he threw it down, Zabuza caught a glimpse at Miyamoto. That bastard still had his eyes open.
As Zabuza threw down his smoke grenade, Miyamoto pounced again, slashing at the cloud of smoke. Although his sword had been broken, the slash was able to split the cloud diagonally. Seeing no trace of Zabuza, Miyamoto threw away his blade.
"What a useless kitchen knife."
Miyamoto looked toward the river where a bright red light burned in the sky. With nothing else, Miyamoto walked in the direction of the flare, thinking it was Sanada.

Sanda's vision faded, and darkness began to creep from the corners of her eyes. With the last of her strength, Sanada reached into her pouch and pulled out a flare and lit it.
The flare sizzled and flew into the air, exploding into a ball of red light. With that last action, Sanada blacked out.

On a cliff, above the village hidden in the mist, two masked figures saw the light.
"Contact the nearby Anbu to that location, I'll contact the captain." The figure that spoke jumped off the cliff and ran down the cliff face.
The other figure put their fingers to their head and connected to another figure in the forest telepathically.
"Follow the flare to the east, possible friendlies, but keep on your toes." The figure receiving the transmission did a hand signal to their group, giving them orders to head to the flare.
The group of four jumped into the trees, jumping from branch to branch, getting to the flare as fast as they could.

Miyamoto walked down the hill and he could hear the river flowing as he got closer.
Rain began to drip, only giving a light shower as a light mist rolled in, the sky was covered with grey clouds, and not a ray of sunlight could pier through.
Miyamoto could see from the forest, Sanada's unconscious body, as Miyamoto got closer, he saw faint grey dots moving on the other side of the river, and he also saw the figures in the bush.
The figures in the bush saw Miyamoto leave the forest and walk up to Sanada, they stood and watched, as they all could sense the dangerous aura Miyamoto emitted.
Miyamoto examined Sanada and realized he didn't have the equipment or knowledge on how to treat her, he spoke up at the figures in the bush with a rumbling voice.
"Come out!" Miyamoto's voice rumbled.
Pressure fell on the Figure's hearts as they didn't respond.
Miyamoto walked over to the edge of the river and looked one of the figures dead in the eyes.
His predatory glare was enough to make the figure freeze up.
"Come out!" Miyamoto let out a growl.
The frozen figure turned to his comrades and nodded at them.
The figures emerged out of the bush with the same masks as the one from before.
"Who-"
"Did you attack us!?"
The Figure went to speak, but Miyamoto cut them off, and the other figures flinched due to his presence.
"No, we just got here." One of the figures spoke up.
"Then heal her!"
Before the figures could protest, Miyamoto turned back to Sanada and took off the scroll from her back. He then walked over to the tree line and sat down.
The figures jumped over the river, starting clear of Miyamoto as he watched them out of the corner of his eye.
Miyamoto was looking at the approaching figures from the forest, once he could see it was more of these strangers. He opened the scroll and read the first line saying something across the lines. "Second Hokage?"
The figures had one of them watch Miyamoto as the other two patched up Sanada.
"What's he doing?" One of the figures healing Sanada asked.
"He's reading the scroll."
"Hey. What's a Hokage?" The sudden question threw off the standing figure.
"Uh, it's the leader in the leaf village." The figure was a bit sceptical about him asking what the Hokage is since it's common knowledge.
"Which way is to the leaf village?"
The figure pointed in a general direction. "That way."
Miyamoto rolled the scroll back up and stood up, and began to walk in the direction the figure pointed at.
"What are you doing!?" One of the other figures asked as he pulled the standing figure down.
"I don't know! I panicked." The standing figure said.
The figure that grabbed him shoved him away. "What a sorry excuse for an Anbu. Disgraceful."
The captain of the Anbu arrived.
"Who is she?" The Captain spoke.
"We don't know yet, but she is one of ours."
The Anbu talked about what transpired after mentioning Miyamoto and that he was carrying a giant scroll.
"And you let him go!?" The Captain exclaimed.
The other two Anbu glanced at the third Anbu, who responded by turning away in shame.
"Ugh, where is he headed?"
"He's going to the lead village."
"Follow him, kill him and get that scroll back! Take that girl back to the infirmary!" The Captain poked one of the Anbu before turning away, disappearing into smoke.

Miyamoto used the strings on the scroll to tie it to his back.
Miyamoto was able to make it to a village pretty far from the river. Miyamoto knew they were going to follow him, but they aren't doing a good job.
"Hello, do you go as far as the leaf village?" Miyamoto had walked up to a random boat captain and asked.
The man Miyamkto asked looked up at him and revelled in the muscles on Miyamoto's body, and couldn't help but admire his warrior moulded face.
"I can take you to the land of fire?"
From what Miyamoto has seen, he has experienced unbelievable events, so he was somewhat certain that there was a land made of fire.
"Is the leaf village there?"
"Yep."
Miyamoto recoiled a bit from the naming of these places. A leaf village in a land of fire? How?
"Thanks." Miyamoto hopped onto the boat and the boatman began to paddle, he then realized he doesn't have money.
"I don't have money."
"That's alright, tell me some tales of your adventures, you look like a man who could have a legend named after them."
Miyamoto was more than happy to tell stories of his adventures while they travelled to this land of fire...
