Chapter 1: prologue
I had recently come to terms with the fact that I would go down in history as the main antagonist. Why should I apologize for the monster I've turned into, I asked myself as I sat down on the school's stairs. Nobody expressed regret for treating me in this manner.
Growing up, everyone has the desire to play the main character, experiencing highs and lows while attempting to achieve their goal of becoming the hero. The antagonist I want to be is what I learned from my traumatic background. My social life has been a source of worry for me day and night. I keep hoping that the people I meet will become my new source of hope, but that never actually happens.
