Chapter 11: The Principal's Daemon
On the next day,
Dwet Frost Academy II
In Class B...
"Hello class, we will not be having any lessons today." Mrs. Tina announced after she sat down...
All the students cheered.
"But, I would like to also inform you that the principal will be giving an announcement to you students."
"So, make haste, and go to the school assembly grounds."
"Those who arrive late will be dealt with severely"
Hearing this, Cain took a look at his friends and thought, it seemed that this had to do with the awakening ceremony...
With a mutual understanding between friends, they all head to the school assembly ground...
Upon their arrival, Cain couldn't help but voice out.
"What do you think the announcement will be?"
"I think it will have to be about the awakening ceremony" replied George.
Cani and his friends were suddenly taken by surprise by the correct response given by George, contradictory to his usual goofy attitude.
This was one of the rare moments where George used his brain and answered a question without adding battle intent inside.
"What... can`t I use common sense again?" argued George...
"Firstly, I think George is correct this time..." Wright said ..." but let's not jump to conclusion, and wait for the announcement"
Hearing this, they all decided to wait.
Not before long, the principal arrived...
Well, he's a man who is known for his exuberant clothing and entrance.
Once the principal entered, he lifted his face and graced the student with his presence...
And with a slight pale skin and rosy nose and ear that glows slightly golden when his under the sun.
And a garment made of the finest silk with a golden armament on his body...
Words like 'i am rich' were written all over on every item on his body.
With a body, no one will ever doubt that he isn't muscular hiding within an elegant robe.
And a smile so calm and friendly that makes him very approachable.
And to add it up, he uttered a single word that silenced the entire student.
"Come out"
As he said those words,
The entire area was filled with a dreadful, deadly aura enough to petrify every student and teacher alike, causing the hairs on their necks to rise...
A golden hand with claws appeared looking like a death scythe, and ripped the space behind the principal, as its full body appeared before everyone...
Everyone gasped...
Such monstrosity
As the Principal's Daemon rarely showed up in public, many did not or haven't seen his Daemon before so it was a fresh experience for all of them.
Its head looked like an elephant with horns protruding like a minotaur, but its arms were six times George's size.
And it's vicious scars that show the testament that it has gone through life and death battle and emerged victorious.
Its upper body part would put any bodybuilder to shame...
'How many packs are there?'...Cain asked subsciously.
And a golden skin that could rival any silver-tier defense equipment...
As it was summoned, it stood there gracefully like the people in front of it meant nothing but were ants...
Arrogant
Prideful
But who will question its power? No one
*ting*
[Goldenseal ???? Buddha]

[Skill]: ?????
Shocked by what he saw for the first time...
`What is happening? ` he thought.
[Weak]... the mysterious cube stated it clearly as a fact.
*THUNK*
Those words stabbed his very heart...
With a pained expression, Cain shut his mouth...
Any other question will just hurt his feelings.
Though it hurts to be called weak, it is the plain truth.
Cain noted it in his mind never to be called weak again by the mysterious cube again...
"Dear student, how was your night been... I hope you slept well" ... he smiled as any fellow friend would have, but his Daemon behind him destroyed that friendly atmosphere completely.
"I called you out to give a brief announcement..." he said and continued "before the awakening ceremony, the school will be conducting a program for its upcoming Ewers" ...
"This program will be taking place tomorrow with immediate effect as the school will try to help its students evolve their grades before the awakening"
"As you have been told, the higher grade your body emits, the higher the Vinit energy it can hold and the stronger your Daemons power will be"
"Therefore, don't take it to heart if you are not able to evolve your body, because being able to summon your Daemon is the most important thing for every Ewer."
"Though, there have not been any non-awakened Ewers in recent centuries"
"Because of the chances of you belonging to an awakened family, you have a 90% chance of awakening". He stopped to breathe and continued solemnly "unless your luck is really bad."
"Once your Daemon is summoned, never neglect your body, as the higher the grade, the more powers you can display."
"You can still find resources available in the outside world to evolve it further..."
"And before I conclude, I would like to announce again... There is no weak Daemon, only weak Ewers..."
As he finished his announcement, he unsummoned his Daemon and left the podium as the vice-principal took over to give out more instructions about the upcoming ceremony.
Cain looked at the back of the leaving principal and muttered " I will surpass you."
Wright, who was watching his rival, noticed what he said and smiled. "I chose the right rival, but I will be the one to surpass him" ...
George was still replaying the arrival of the principal's Daemon in his mind turns and said "the principal didn't announce the name of his Daemon... "
"Yeah, same with my mum, I think we are too weak even to know its name.... we are unworthy to know," Cain said...
"That means we just have to grow stronger to know" Tang Ming said as he hate being called weak.
But instead of lowering the entire friend's passion, it boosts their confidence to earnestly grow stronger to be worthy enough to know its name ...
As Tang Ming said, they all took it as a task to figure out their principal Daemon ...
Not only them, the other students noticed this as all felt the same.
The principal knew fully well what he did, indirectly making the student thrive to be strong...
After the announcement, all the students were dismissed to prepare themselves for tomorrow...
Well, as usual, the four friends decided to go home together...
It's quite funny to see them smile now, but the next day there won't be anything to laugh about...
