Chapter 2: Suck the energy

"Great choice you did there"

Zander praises. "Let's talk about the requirements in the contract now that you have concurred" He stands up. I can nod only. Listening to him in complete dead silence, hoping this is not some strange dream in reality. "You are allowed to ask for help countless times"

The man declares. Doesn't sound bad. I am permitted to list down what I need without care. "In return, you have to fulfill my one request a day without declining" He proclaims. And I furrow my brows in puzzlement. "Are there any erotic things included in wishes?"

I throw a query, expressing the curiosity. But this man only flashes a beam. It is disgusting. What if he has high desire for sex? Devils are unpredictable anyway. That means I have to accept his requirement and spend nights with him in bed daily as long as he requests.

Oh, lord.

What have I done?

"It honestly depends on my mood. Don't concern though. I do not wish to hurt a gorgeous lady like you" Zander assures. His flirty personality is annoying. I can't help but scowl in vexation. "That's all, right?" In impatience, I ask out loud. "I guess you can commence now"

The man shrugs. He seems uncertain with his words. How does he expect me to believe in him at this point? "How are you going to help me when I don't even know how to summon you?" Realizing the situation, I query him. It is when Zander raises his brows. Seriously?

What kind of devil behaves in such careless manner? I am starting to distress upon my second chance with him. "Right. Pardon me" He seizes my palm while I have yet to permit him to. Does he have control over my body? Zander places his lips on my hand. Stunning me.

"What are you doing?!"

I raise my tone in surprise. He backs up with a perplexed expression. "Setting a spell on you so you can just call me whenever you want?" Zander furrows his brows. What the heck. I thought he only needed to mumble some words or draw with his fingers in the air.

Observing my confused face, Zander let out a chuckle. He seems amused. "My apologies. I wanted to kiss your hand so bad. You can actually just call out my name and I will be there in a moment" He confesses. Upsetting me totally. He really is uncontrollable freak. It is going to be exhausting.

"Then send me back. I have to draw the plans before marrying him" I instruct the man, instead of complaining over his unnecessary kiss upon my hand. My words cause Zander to shake his head. "You are not going back in time, gorgeous. I cannot return time" He admits.

Disappointing me wholly.

"Then how am I supposed to carry out the schemes? You must be joking! Why didn't you add it from the start?!" Due to fury, I glare at the man. He then smiles. "I knew you would not sign if I said it from the beginning" Zander discloses. God, damn it. I can't with this so-called devil.

"I can move you towards the future though. Do you wish to travel after a year of your death? But their child is going to involve though" He mutters. Attracting my attention firmly. "Child?" My heart drops. So Nesta, that jerk's lover did not really disappear the entire time?

They did scheme everything from start.

"Yes, their two years old child"

Zander retorts. Two fucking years old child?! My marriage with Damian was for five months only. And they two had a child before I met him? "Asshole. He is going to pay with his everything" My jaw clenches. "Tell me what you need for now and when you would like to be"

The man commands with his eyes staring down on me. "Make me the CEO of successful company with new identity. I wish to appear after two years of my death" The requirement comes up. Earning a nod back from Zander. "The apartment or mansion?" He asks.

Somehow confusing me. Why would he question random thing? Perhaps, he can get me whichever I desire? That would be great if it is true. "Can I obtain both?" I tilt my head. Putting a smirk upon Zander's face. "Your wish is my command" The man responds.

Without hesitation, he snaps his fingers.

Switching the surrounding in a blink. It is like we two teleported. "Apartment..." A mutter escapes between my lips. I peer down at myself, to discover the lounge I am settling on. Meanwhile, he stands in front me with hands in pockets. The distance is close between us.

If I am not eyeing up at him, I would be meeting his lower part for sure. "As for the mansion, you can walk out of here to witness one. I made the apartment and mansion in one area for better. Or just tell me if you want them separately" The man explains as I nod in understanding.

Seeing the power, he holds; I can now be relieved this is not a dream. "This is sufficient" Being uneasy with the position I am in currently; I attempt to get up from lounge. But the body I possess fails to hold the balance. Causing me to nearly fall back.

However, Zander's arm wraps around my waist as his another hand holds the back of my head. Things occurred quickly so that I can't process well. "Please be careful with yourself, my gorgeous" He whispers beneath a beam. His eyes stare into mine deeply.

And the tension rose.

I cannot help but swallow.

This man has a pretty yet annoying dimple smile. "Take your hands back" I order. It is when Zander chuckles and backs up. "To acquire the exact body you owned, I shared half of my soul which means you can't move around with that body unless you gain my energy daily"

The explanation from the man leaves me in pool of surprise. "Such a weak body. It clearly states I have to meet up with you daily" I furrow brows. "Needless to say" He shrugs. This devil! "How do I obtain your energy?" Calming the fury, I try to get positive thoughts here.

Yet, his reply exasperates me.

"You have to put your pretty lips upon mine and suck the energy. Basically, kissing for humans. But it is the only way you would accept than other one" Zander assures. Kiss him?! For daily?! He is aware what he is doing for certain! "What is the other way around?" I ask.

Maybe there is another option to pick than kissing this idiotic devil every day. "Sex" His dimples deepen. Fuck. I was wrong for thinking he would have better ways. What was I expecting from a freak like him? "Well, I guess it is nothing to complain. Just a kiss won't hurt me"

I sigh hopelessly. At least, he brought me back to life once again with many opportunities in his grasp. A few kisses can never get in my way to stop me from avenging those who wronged me. My reply makes the man's face sparkles in bliss. "It is settled then" He grins.

But his next action shocks me.

Without alerting, he leans down to plant his lips against mine. On the other side, he holds my waist and back of head to make sure I can't escape. Such a wicked man! What does he think he is doing?! "Mhmm!" I try to back up. However, my body can't move as I command it to.

It feels like being controlled by him. Maybe he actually can rule my body due to the fact that he shared his half soul to make this body. Damn it. I have no other choices but to accept the kiss. With my eyes shut, I respond to the passionate kiss. Sucking his lips helplessly.

It is the moment Zander's lips curve up. I can feel his gratified smirk. How annoying. "Mhm..." The man let out a sound in pleasure over my lead. I like the way he gave up as soon as I replied to his kiss. He follows my guide without protesting. I slide my tongue between his lips.

He is panting.

Must be going insane.

Since this devil stated I needed to suck his energy, I better perform correctly to maintain this body in good health. Licking the man's lips, I inhale deeply. That's it. I have gained energy. Thinking to break the kiss, I begin to move on my own with the energy I obtained.

But Zander holds my head firmly enough to prevent me. This goddamn man. For another minute, I continue the kiss in hope to acquire almost his entire soul. Yet, it turns out to be me who is finding it difficult to breathe. "Enough..." Starting to lose breath, I back up from the kiss.

Gasping for air after.

"I love the way you lead me on" Zander's words drag my attention. I look up, only to witness his dimples. His deep gaze pierces through my intense eyes. I may view this kiss annoying but it is satisfying to dominate over him and actually hearing him confessing he likes it.

"Glad to hear" I respond and sit back down on lounge. "I will come back tomorrow. This file has everything you are searching for" He passes the document to me. I did not even see him seizing the file. It must be really nice to have some sort of powers sometimes.

Well, I can actually order my clan members to get me whatever I want though. I don't see any difference between these two powers here. "And, don't hesitate to ask for help from me. I still would only request one desire daily" Zander continues with a wink.

Causing me to furrow brows.

"You are disgusting" I speak my mind.

Tickling him wholly so that he chuckles. "Farewell, my gorgeous" He walks away. "I thought you would snap your fingers and disappear" I scoff. "If you wish me to" Hearing my sarcasm, Zander snaps his fingers for real. Vanishing into thin air before I can catch up with situation.

"What a devil..."

And I murmur beneath a scowl.
