Chapter 97: Winning

Zagreus inhales a breath and runs up to Alessia, he won't harm his wife, but one thing is for sure, he won't allow her to hurt anyone either.

He grabbed her wrist with one hand, and with a swift motion, he twisted it behind her back. Alessia cried out in pain as her staff clattered to the ground.

Zagreus didn't waste any time as he pulled her towards him and wrapped his other arm tightly around her waist. He could feel her struggling against him, but he held on tight, unwilling to let go.

"Gabriel, Selene, get out of here," he called. "I'll handle Cronus and Alessia."

Gabriel and Selene nodded in agreement as they retreated from the scene, leaving Zagreus alone to face Cronus.

Cronus raised an eyebrow in amusement as he watched Zagreus struggle to control Alessia.

"Well, well, well. You think you can handle my queen. How amusing," Cronus's chuckled.
